There is usually an arrow that shows the direction of flow. Some manufactures may recommend another direction for their products or the filter may have been installed incorrectly from the manufacturer. Check for arrows to be sure of which way the fuel filter should be installed.
1. After cleaning the air filter spray some filter oil on the element. This aids in catching dirt and preventing water from entering. 2. Use Chapstick on the clutch gasket face. This will help prevent the gasket from sticking if the cover needs removing. 3. See #2 for the intake gasket 4. Apply a thin coat of copper RTV to both sides of the exhaust gasket. It will carbonize when heat hits it and aid in sealing the exhaust, lengthen life of gasket, and allow for easy removal later 5. Apply a small dab of copper seize on spark plug threads. 6. Use CV joint grease on the clutch gear (small gear) Then turn clutch to spread evenly. CV grease is best as it contains high amount of molybdenum. 7. Always use fuel line clamps on all connections.

Then some days it doesn't do that at all and everything is fine... any ideas?

OK. I've watched a LOT of build and maintenance videos. I have to ask. Why does nobody remove enough links to have a proper chain tension? Every build video shows the builder breaking the chain to remove some links, then leaves 6 inches of floppy deflection to correct with the tensioner. In this video, if the builder had removed one, maybe two, more links, they would probably not even need to use the chain tensioner, as the engine mounts give you about half an inch of rotational adjustment, with a little hammer massaging of the mount plates.
Chains are a universal size and rarely fit the same for every bike, let alone every motor; making it almost impossible to perfectly fit, even when taking the correct number of links out. There are half links, but they are not as available as full links and do not always work as intended, especially if there is limited clearance from the chain and the frame or other parts, and still do not guarantee a perfect fit. Adjusting the mounting plates is a viable option , but is far from precise and will likely cause too much tension on the chain and drive componants. Having a designated chain tensioner takes up the extra slack with more precision, makes installing and uninstalling parts more convenient, and is a safer and more reliable method.
All of that is true, but in this setup, at least one more link could have been removed and you'd only need the tensioner to keep proper chain alignment and tension, not to take up 4 inches of deflection.
That is probably true, as a single link can make a large difference. It can be the case that this specific build was just short of being able to remove another link, causing all that extra slack. We definitely agree that the proper amount of links should be taken off to reduce the unwanted slack, and to allow for a more efficient drive system.

ArcadeTH heres a simpler version: tighten all nuts bolts screws and that stuff. Check the sparkplug every so often. Take off the clutch cover and put only small amounts of grease on the gears. Too much grease will always lead to it getting into the clutch and making it slip like crazy. Clean your airfilter every 100 miles. Cleaning the carbon from the exhaust is optional. Gaskets dont tend to blow too often. Tension the chain so it can move freely but still have a bit of resistance when you push down on it. Adjust your idle to where the engine can run slowest without stalling. Check your tyre pressure every ride if you only ride it a few times a week. If its every day, check the pressure every day. Use 25:1 during break in and anything from 25:1 and 40:1 after break in. Hope this helps

+BikeBerrycom yeah I totally understand but it's more of a money-making Venture for you guys and I also understand that but I'm saying if people want to learn proper maintenance tips they shouldn't rely on those videos they're good for the basics and they help people get an idea but it really doesn't give the right information your chain is way too loose way too loose and I understand about being too tight but yours is too loose and there's way too much grease on the inside gear that messes up the clutch every time

We haven't heard any complaints about the stock fuel shut off valve. Any problems we've come across are from typical part wear.
if you are truly concerned about gas in the carb for the winter, just empty the gas tank, that guarantees no gas will go in the carb :)

Easier than car or motorcycle maintenance though.
ArcadeTH hell yea that's to much doubt you really have to do all that
ArcadeTH heres a simpler version: tighten all nuts bolts screws and that stuff.
ArcadeTH c'mon man. It can't be that much.
This video is an overview of the parts that wear out over time, and may need maintenance. It is unlikely that everything covered will have to be done.
Why such a short intake manifold? 😂
thanks
"and the exhaust"
>Shows motor mounts
that was the exhaust mount, it so there isnt any stress on the engine itself
One word: Locktite
Always recommended to use a thread locker and proper lubricants where needed.
Buy a new air filter once in awhile
Product review
Takes fuel filter out puts it back on the wrong way lol.
Nope, take out the wrong sided old filter, and puts a new filter the right way.
Follow the arrows and follow your heart
I like bikeberry but they don't give the proper informatio

+BikeBerrycom yeah I totally understand but it's more of a money-making Venture for you guys and I also understand that but I'm saying if people want to learn proper maintenance tips they shouldn't rely on those videos they're good for the basics and they help people get an idea but it really doesn't give the right information your chain is way too loose way too loose and I understand about being too tight but yours is too loose and there's way too much grease on the inside gear that messes up the clutch every time
+BikeBerrycom also don't think I'm a regular troll cuz I'm sure you get tons of people who are know-it-alls trying to tell you what's right I'm just saying that thumbnail picture shows so much grease it got my attention cuz I wanted to mention how that is bad and it will make your clutch slip
a lot of people and maybe you guys are the same you don't even ride your bikes my last bike I put 5000 miles on it in one year I ride all the time for fun and for transportation at least 4 or 5 days a week and a lot of other people use them for transportation everyday for like 30 or 40 or 50 miles so they need to know the maintenance tips that actually makes sense for the Riders
check tire pressure every few months LOL
Friends and fellow motorized bike builders. Make your life much easier and never buy your parts from gasbike or Kings motorbike. They will rip you off and never make it right.
#cough lock rite.
😼👍
bike berry is a scam
Lol
I've been doing it for years. my question is why do theses engine's only last 2000 miles or so then crap out. Also loose most its power at 1000 miles? does bikeberry only have shit engines. pistons to bearings and head studs. Rattle and clanking pieces of shit!!!
Dang O'l what fuel mix do you use?
2cycle it's just a chainsaw motor think about the lubrication,if you want a moto to last put a 6000 series Briggs on one.
When will your 4 stroke kits be in stock?
Will a 50cc off of a 26"fit on a 29"BCA 🚲
technically yes, but it will have a slow speed up
