Flashlights From Companies that STOLE My Video Content

  • 90000 LUMEN! Strongest Flashlight in the WORLD.... Yeah RIGHT!! LOL!! If you want to see some flashlights I actually recommend, be sure to check out the link for the new list I've made!
    My Recommendations List: docs.google.co...
    My Shop:lumencraft.com/
    My products on Amazon: www.amazon.com...
    Facebook:www.facebook.c...
    CandlePowerForums:www.candlepower...
I tested these lights and of course they don't make any where near 90,000 lumens. They also do not use a genuine Cree LED. However for the price I paid for the zoomable one in particular ($17.79) It's not a terrible light. It did make over a thousand lumens and the zoom function is pretty good. Both lights (ebuyfire and generic zoomy) could have just told the truth about their product. They could have said. "1,000 lumen flashlight. Fake Cree LED." And made their own video and still sold lights!!
To be clear my problem with this is NOT that they used content from my channel. If some RUclipsr had taken clips from my videos and made a compilation that accurately reflected what was being talked about I would have been fine with it. If they had taken clips from my imalent MS18 video and done something creative with it (not just stole my video and re-uploaded), then fine. BUT this company is intentionally trying to TRICK people. They are using videos of $700 dollar flashlights and pretending their cheap product is the one in the video when its clearly not.

Nice video, and me I decided to try the one where they say they donate the money or what not, lol jokes on me. It came and came with out a battery and its not what they showed or said it was at all disappointed but I got what I paid for garbage, I would have to say its about as crappy as the dollar 🌲 store flashlight, now the other part is that they don't give you any information on how to get it refunded. I would think that because it's fraud for false advertising that I would be ok. Do you have any information on what I can or we can do to help me and other who do or but from places like this. And how do I contact them they have no information but at bottom of page they talk about a 30 day refund crap. Love you videos and I got sucked, lol.

I know they're all made in China, but as he sort of says there are tons of cheap lights making ridiculous claims. A majority of them are probably made in the same factory and rebranded by dozens of other crappy companies. I can deal with Chinese made if it's designed and marketed by a reputable company. I just wish more people were aware of what they're buying and not supporting the "knock off" dishonest companies.

Love your videos Matt and especially your DIY stuff.
But if I could make a suggestion, It would be awesome if you delved into some laser diy/hobby/modding and laser experiments!!
I was into flashlights for several years and lasers never interested me. But once I started poking around and got my hands on a few of the cheap high-powered lasers… It definitely rivals the flashlight Hobby!!
Just humor me for a moment…
There’s so much in common with the flashlight Hobby… And I bet $100 that you’d really enjoy it!! It’s such a broader subject! With so much modern amazing technology!!!
I have a humble electronics lab setup, where I do repairs on industrial circuit boards, restore test equipment, and all sorts of other projects. I have a somewhat sizable eBay store where I sell industrial equipment to fund my electronics lab and hobby.
I got into lasers a year or two ago and have mostly hobby grade lasers.
But the different wavelengths (colors), The unbelievable breakthroughs in recent laser technology, and the absolutely astounding cheap prices currently… Makes the laser DIY/modding hobby so much fun.
With huge potential‘s for scientific experiments, all types of engraving and fun with 3-D printer/conversions countless other things.
A few years ago a simple 532nm green laser would require hundreds of dollars worth of equipment, And be quite sizable.…
Now you can get a three pack of green laser pens for $7. Each one getting well over 100 mW!!!
You can find countless 200mw lasers in every color imaginable, paired with cheap 18650 battery and charger and the whole kit is under $10! All of the driver/modules, laser diode‘s, and hosts are so exceptionally cheap… And you already have all the gear from flashlights.
What makes the laser hobby so much more fun than flashlights… (in my opinion) Is the never ending potential for experiments and the usefulness of the technology in my every day life. Lasers are so important to science, Medical, and countless other industries…
Once you start poking around and modeling some of the cheap pointers from eBay… You will quickly realize it’s a vastly broader hobby than flashlights with so many more ways to experiment!
I’v Always loves your channel and am always excited to see a new video! Keep up the wonderful work!

Man it's getting out of hand...I literally saw one earlier that said and I'm not exaggerating or making this up "980,000,000LM" yeah, nine hundred and eighty million lumens, I don't know to much about lumens but out of theory wouldn't that many like melt your flesh off if you accidentally shined it on your skin for a few seconds? LoL

Do NOT buy the TP 360 Pro tactical flashlight from Zest Ads. You WILL be disappointed. Their entire ad video that is run on youtube and Facebook is stolen (mostly from these clips shown here).

Any other suckers like me order the TP360? I thought it was in US but maybe the website was....now gone? Hope i get my product...from china.. in a month....ship shipping...not local. If the beam can be focused, it may be equivalent to 9000 lumens at a far distance. If the lens melts, they better consider glass, and free if a plastic one melts.

I made AliExpress give me full and partial refunds on these very flashlights. They present them as CREE led's by tagging them as XHP 70 or XHP50 they started doing it over a year ago. Now you can get the XHP90 don't do it. The big one does make a nice club.

I got that fake xhp70 zoomie flashlight a while ago. it's was actually a nice cheap light for a while. but after I used it for a late night walk the fake LED burnt out after 10 minuets at full power. now I'm using Convoy and Astrolux flashlights.

OMG, I purchased "10 flashlights for the price of 5" and got 0. From a RUclips commercial that included some of the videos and content you say belongs to you. I dug a bit deeper and the company was out of china and hosted sites on godaddy which were down when doing a "whois", rather prior. They are actually back up using other domain names and hosts so beware. Got my dough back though.

They stole your content but you can laugh about their stupidity. And your content had millions of viewers. Thats the most amazing part. What are those viewers looking for👏??
Maybe they should just view a number of your excellent vids. Maybe they learn what a real flashlight can do.

I saw those ads for those flashlights and immediately recognized they were using clips from your channel, which obviously means they are falsely advertising BIG TIME.

they tried to fool the customer for the flashlight rookie who not really in light, they sold on amazon, aliexpress, and ebay blah blah blah, show us video stole mostly content of imalent ms18 which is very bright
And... they add the video in to make us think it's bright as the imalent ms18 lol

  • @budgetlightph7814

What I notice is that they're too good in advertising. They pay a lot on advertising which explains the views. I noticed when someone goes to me to buy some lights, most of them gets turned off when I state the prices and the specs even on the budget category like convoy. They seem to get fooled with these types of cheapo lights and think they could get it less for the same specs and quality. These kind of marketing is dangerous especially on substandard stuff that could potentially start a fire if left unattended. Please, don't sacrifice your house for cheap stuff.

Hi Matt, niceo video, please try the PNI f430 1k lumen flashlight, one of the cheapest, or the newest PNI f30 3k lm :)

  • @McTroyd
    @McTroyd 2 года назад

Yeah, that seems to be a common trend on eBay these days. Doesn't meet the specification, but is cheap enough/good enough to keep someone from putting in the refund request. Kind of a shame too, in the sense this exaggerated marketing devalues everyone's efforts, including theirs.

Hi Matt, I found an error in your table. The GT "mini" is not a keychain light and it has more than 450 lumens. You should call it "nano" ;)
