hy bro sorry for my english, I'm Mike Pandawa from indonesia, I just want to ask, if u not using it, please give me as give away, I will using it for ghost hunting hehehehe
I used to work at Cree, making those LED devices, for 6 years. I also have their home light bulbs in all of my lamps in my house. I bought them from Home Depot in 2013, and they're still going strong 7 1/2 years later.
@@itsruf1 First, I never said they were the answer to everything. I like them, but there's nothing wrong with people liking other types of lighting. Second, I was not an assembler--I worked in more than a dozen different areas. I was involved in multiple chemical and gas etch and cleaning steps, inspection, and other parts of the process of creating these devices, which go through hundreds of steps from the initial wafer creation to the end devices that go into things like these flashlights. Third, is there an issue with me bringing up my past work on these devices, or mentioning that I have other Cree bulbs in my house? I never acted like they were the be-all, end-all of anything...just that they're really good bulbs. Lastly, I WAS speaking for myself. Where in my comments was I speaking for anyone else? You think maybe you're overreacting just a bit? Jeez...
I've been buying Thrunite for quite a while now, happy to see they are finally getting some recognition for their amazing quality flashlights! They bring to market the most sound, well designed, well priced flashlights I've seen. Go Thrunite
These flooders are awesome for taking videos in dark places. I use a thrunite to record inspections of machinery. These lights are more practical than photography lights. More durable and portable.
I'd smell a bear first, the light would be just right to allow me to spot it. Keep my distance and use me Deagle if needed. I've been in Alaska way too long to run into a bear on the trails and not be prepared.
I bought a light extremely similar to that one with 10 LEDs cost me 16 bucks on eBay brightest thing I've ever turned on and I've had it for at least 2 years works perfect.
observation: Sign shop owner, neon tube bender, and lighting guy for ages. Diodes are great for some applicaion but we still light up cabinets with T12 fluorescent tubes for a reason. They are still superior. That aside I have a work truck with 4 muzillion lumens, A Polaris RZR with 2 or 3 ba-zillion Lumens, My 3320 Deere with a few trillion lumens and my share ofcommon-guy hand held from Lowe's. These 600-800 Lum LUX-PRO need batteries way too often. That thing above you'd need to go to Walgreens each week. Geesh. If you are at an upscale mall and see a backlit cool store sign that's my specialty.
Nice. Those LEDs would be perfect as a bicycle or motorcycle headlight. I'd want only the 8k and 11k lumen functions though - maybe strobe would be good in case of roadside trouble but I can't imagine needing that "infinity mode". Thanks for the terrific review.
I dont have the light with me so I don't have the exact model number. It's a thrunite. Nearly identical size. Same 4 cell 18650 cartridge. What happens is every time without fail when i take it apart and put fresh batteries in it i hand tighten it. Turns on and runs fine. Go to change batteries and the light won't come apart. Have to wrap both ends with rags and use an 18" pipe wrench on both ends to loosen it. I get it apart and the threads look fine. Use a fine duster brush to clean both ends. Use a little heat proof grease on the threads. Put it together and take it apart 2 to 3 times and it feels fine. Run it till the power button blinks red and the same thing happens. It's so tight it won't come apart. 3 straight times I just hand tighten it each time after running it till the low power light blinks and it won't come apart. It's possible heating up will cause the metal to expand but letting cool over night bringing it down to room temperature should help. I even put it in the freezer over night to see if it would help. No luck. Still need wrenches to loosen it. First to Thrunite, add external USB charging as an option for $200+ lights. Second, any thoughts from any of you flashlight experts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Btw it's out of warranty. It's about 3 years old.
I think flashlight that have a strobe for self defense should have the strobe mode activated by a separate button/ switch so you don't have to fiddle with going through different modes in an emergency
i have one and i do the same , it floods the room with light ,, and when your done , flick it off . Beats the wall /lamp switch scenario and makes people ' wheres all that light coming from?'
Strobe isn't for blinding someone. It's for drawing attention, like in SAR situations. Stick that thing right in front of the attacker's eye, and double tap (turbo). Guaranteed he/she'll get a retinal damage to some extent.....
You said its not tactile however if you have someone try to attack you and you shine the light at 11k in their face at night you ruin their night vision for a few mins allowing you to either flee or destroy your opponent. Awesome video. I might pick one up now that i seen it in action.
You can help it. Just drive a few miles into the Everglades via US41 and you have what you need. You, do know what and where the Everglades are, I hope?
That battery terminal reminds me of Jurassic park when the park is flooding and the guy uses that shaving creme can to steal DNA vials haha, love this vid by the way
Th is light is like having a Lamborghini Diablo in your garage. Not a EDC , it’s ideal for trailing blood after a hunt. But other than that,. No need, I have various soda cab lights.... I’m a fan though talon 👍
That light is sick man. That price of weapon lights these day when you think about it $180.00 is not bad for a 11,000 Lumen light 💡 I didn’t know you live in Miami I live in Ft Lauderdale so howdy neighbor.
I haven't checked around but I would really like to have a way to check or verify lumens claims. Some you know are ludicrous. Like last night on Ebay I saw a headlamp advertised with 350,000 lumens. Out of two 18650 batteries. Don't need to check that one. I've been a flashlight junkie since I was a kid in the 1950's. We didn't have indoor plumbing but somehow my grandparents had one of those yellow 2 D cell flashlights. I was amazed. Especially when I shined it in a mirror and it lit up stuff behind me. Hey, I was 4 or 5yrs old. When my coal miner grandpa went from a carbide light, you put the carbide crystals and water in the base and it produced a gas that burned in reflector, to a rechargeable real light. The difference was, well, you can imagine. Their mostly gone now but if you ever knew one of the old miners when you talked to them they would have their head tilted up. That was from when in the mines they would tilt their head, and the light, up so not to shine in in coworker's eyes. Old habits hard to break. As the guy who paid $500 for that Surefire M6 back in the day I don't mind the price if you get what you pay for. At the time the M6 was the bomb. 500 lumens, also came with a 250 bulb but no record of one ever bein used, the result of 6, six, CR123a batteries for an astounding 20, twenty, minutes of run time. So $30 for 20 minutes. You may have seen the light in many movies because it looked cool. I think I saw em in the SWAT remake. So I've tried about everything. I now have the best, for the money, that I've found. The Streamlight 3,500 lumen fuel fuel light. Uses 4 of the CR123 batteries for 2,500 lumens or two rechargeable 18650 batteries for 3,500 lumens. Each battery has a USB charging port. Over an hour on high. Has low, high and strobe. Called the Ten Tap programmable but I haven't messed with it. In fact I have two since the prices are around $100 with the rechargeable batteries or around $60 with the others at Botach. A lumen checker would be great with the Stremlight and the 11,000 lumen light that you have. Hard to tell on video but the Streamlight appears to be close in performance. Also except for power button not bein on the rear it's more like a regular police duty light. Not heavy but does get hot. Can even mount it on a rifle. You may have tested it, I forgot to check. Neway, great vid and sorry bout my way too long "comments". PTSD and me, I just hold the tablet. If you would druther I keep my thots to myself just let me know. Don't ghost me so I keep writing and only you can see it. 99% of comments are just read by other commentors neway. No way ya'll could read em all. Especially as your channel gets more popular. I like how you're not just a GunTuber, altho that's ok too. Demolition dude got so big i stopped watching. Got to be like a sitcom plus far too many channels but he's the biggest and workin it the hardest for the big bucks so more power to him but guess I'm gettin too old and ornery. Miss the hornery days tho. Keep up the good work and don't change your style while it's workin. Money ain't every thing. Well, can buy everything but I quit hustlin after major car crash, with NDE, and definitely after 3rd cancer. L8r.
Im looking for a light like this, I've looked at several. Not too impressed with the on/off button on some of these lights. They are built great, like a tank, but the switch on some of these lights are ridiculous. First off I dont need the strobe, a useless function. Just a simple 3 mode button, low, medium and high. I'm still looking.
I bough the Bontrager ion pro rt front bike light 1300 lumens and it is insanely bright..i peaked at it and my vision was affected and it could literally blind you..1300 is meant for a defensive maneuver but it could hurt people if they look into it..their eyes will be affected. 11,000 is a dangerous output.
Great Review. Thanks for mentioning cost & providing link to Amazon to purchase... I haven't completed the video, but I'm wondering how long can hold light when it's at 8K & 11K lumens...
The true test is taking it out at night and shining it on street lights that are on. If it is good it will shut those lights off. For they have a photoeye that turns the lights on and off by the amount of light at a given setting
It probably drains the batteries within several minutes, I bet! I have small compact Streamlight LED flashlight, I think its around 1,200 lumens, it has two 123A batteries in it, and if you keep the light on for 20 minutes straight, the batteries are pretty much dead!!
Cool piece of equipment, but I would stick with my lighter Led Lenser MT10 with the adjustable focus. It can lighten a room too by pointing it up to the ceiling and with the focused beam it can lighten objects up to 150m-200m. If that thing had focused beam it would have more use.
As you hold the button to go up from lowest to highest can you take your thumb off at any time and the flashlight will stay at that brightness? So it can be any brightness from 3 to 8000, like if I want to stop at 3000 lumens. Thanks! Just snagged one
Like to see them focus on max lumens that can be sustained, when they did the Christmas 30% sale I bought the tn40s. I'm not impressed by high lumen flashlights that dropped off in under a few minutes.
It will sustain it for a long time and even on a cool night it will get hot in the process. I have not timed the step-down but I have gone over 20 minutes in the back field on a cool night trying to find my cats when they have gotten out. Based on how hot it got then I would surmise in the hot summer night maybe 10 minutes at most.
can you light a camp fire with a magnifying glass with one of those? I cant find these on their website or amazon. Are they still being made at 11000 lumens?
An impressive searchlight, i am a fan of thrunite lights especially the TN12 single 18650 cell models which is my EDC and SHTF light. I also carry there archer AA cell flashlights ethier 1 or 2 cell version as my backup. I would strongly recommend the TN12 and archer models never had one fail in 6 years i have used them, i still edc my original 2012 TN12 for work everyday. Thanks for the video take care God bless.
I saw a video earlier with somebody who had a hundred thousand lumen flashlight. That should so strong it could start a newspaper on fire instantly and will make you go blind. It gets so hot it at comes with a fan in it to cool it down. You could shift it up and down between a few hundred lumens all the way up to 100,000 lumens ...crazy.
Now for the big question how long does a single charge last. I use a single led dewalt 20v light all the time and my charge intervals are almost nonexistent but rightfully so it's not exactly a pocket type light like this one is.
Will it cook a chicken? Almost got me to get one, but I'm looking for USB rechargeable kind for my postal job...can't have die on me during a long day into the night.. good vid though.
I bought a 28,000 lumens torch cheap but being in town for the next 5 weeks, I have not had a chance to try it out. I had a two million candle power torch I used at my place in the countryside and that illuminted things way off in the distance, with no heating.
People are buying this off of Amazon and they aren't getting batteries included... It would be nice to find a link where the product includes batteries.
It is about the same as my Olight X9R Marauder both in price, function, and size and shape. The Olight X9R is 12,000 lumens rated. Awesome flashlight. I wonder if it could be better than a gun for self defense. Hit the turbo mode with a double click and run. The bad guy won't see anything for plenty of seconds in the day or night.
I'll answer for you, no. I'd just shoot directly in the beams direction and definitely hit you. I've done testing with bright strobe lights myself so I know how effective they will be I'd I need to clear my house. It's only an effective tool for self defense if you also have a weapon.
He said A square foot on the ground is 10k and the flashlight puts out 11k on a square foot. That's how they test lumens, by measuring how bright something is on a square foot surface.
I enjoy all of your videos and I Do not want to troll in any way..I, too am an addict when it comes to POWERFUL flashlights. This is indeed a high lumen light but after I schooled myself on the topic many years ago... High lumen is not always the game changer. HIGH CANDELA along with high lumen makes the light. I have 1000 lumen Streamlights that are brighter and have a longer throw than this because of the high candela.Keep up the good work!
Do you compare it by watching this video? Because it is way, way brighter in real life compared to the video footage. The camera adjusts the brightness so it doesn't look overexposed in the video. U are right that Candela is better for flashlights to define the brightness of the flashlight...
But wait a second... this light is even better! ruclips.net/video/rSEpuu-A6N0/видео.html
How much
Is it really 11,000 Lumens, or is this a cheap Chinese scam
Overkill for me 😅
The V6 Catapult is my favorite Thrunite 🍻

I am currently in a 12 step flashlight addiction program and this video is making me relapse!!
Darn my wife said I was crazy always picking up some kind of flashlight, now I can show her I'm not the only one with this addiction
Johnny Dangerously do you know where the local meeting is?
This comment made my day 😂😂😂
Can you please help me in finding a 12 step program near me? I've been divorced 2 times already because of my vice to flashlights.
Lol.
Hell yeah! This means we are just a few short years away from having light sabers!
Almost Tactical
NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Almost Tactical Yaaaaa !
Peter L --Wait, you mean we aren’t close to having light sabers Peter L?
Almost Tactical brahahahaahaha
They are already here, its just that you dont have access to them.
I enjoyed your ad, you are the only ad I watched because you keep it simple but informative. To the point.
I’ve got an older model of the TN36 I’ve had it for about 2 1/2 yrs now and it is worth every penny !! Great review dude !!
Dude that light is sic and bright AF perfect for hiking this summer
Coming back to this video. Watched this well over a year ago. This is what started my flashlight addiction lol
When attacked, aim at the attacker, double tap, use your left palm to keep the victim's eyeballs in place, call the ambulance using your right hand.
This was an excellent product review and you deserve my thanks for taking the time to share it with us all. Bravo and keep up the good work.
I'm a flashlight geek, so this was very fun. Thank you.
I want to see how this thing can light up the Grand Canyon in complete darkness.
These flooders are awesome for taking videos in dark places. I use a thrunite to record inspections of machinery. These lights are more practical than photography lights. More durable and portable.
your review is so smooth man
i loved it
Perfect hiking flashlight! It doesn't get dark here in the summer but once you're in the tree coverage where the bears are this would be perfect.
Man I bet that would scare the crap out of any animal, a nice deterrent maybe?
It would be like a daytime picnic for the bear.
I'd smell a bear first, the light would be just right to allow me to spot it. Keep my distance and use me Deagle if needed. I've been in Alaska way too long to run into a bear on the trails and not be prepared.
Christine Romero deagle? god damn woman.😁👍
I am a self confessed flashlight addict and I did NOT need to see that beast gimme gimme
SNOW GORILLA you sure you don’t mean flesh light?
SNOW
SNOW GORILLA m
Bff#r..
same here, dont know what it is about flashlights
Same here. now I have to have it and my wife said no not right now dam lol
that's brighter than my future
You need to rethink your future
What future?
Lmfao
that joke is made on every light video
lol
"I'm excited about this little thing" yep, thats what she said.

Nothing like having a flashlight that can illuminate half the planet in the day or night time.
Super beautiful, thank you very much for your support 👍🏼
You blinded me! My lawyer will be in touch. Lol
Jethro B .....lol

This light is for those times you find yourself needing to light up a baseball diamond for 7 minutes... happens all the time. We’ve all been there.

Two years ago hope the flashlight is cheaper now. Can buy a buschnell flashlight at walmart that runs on double as battery.
I always wanted something like this when i used to live in China, to use against oncoming traffic with high beams at night.
The 6D looks great! The old set up never looked bad but the difference with the new one is very noticeable and 🔥🔥🔥

So this light has 11 Cree T6 LED chips in it? Last time I looked at was the largest used in a flashlight that was portable
please let us know , after you decide not turn the light on , how long this flash light can last...until it dead.
A very nice and no-nonsense review.
Have you reviewed any pocket flashlights with one 18650 battery and offering above 1,000 lumens?
I bough the Bontrager ion pro rt front bike light 1300 lumens and it is insanely bright..i peaked at it and my vision was affected and it could literally blind you..1300 is meant for a defensive maneuver but it could hurt people if they look into it..their eyes will be affected. 11,000 is a dangerous output.
This shit is brighter than my future.
So do you think it's bright as car lights
My dorm literally lost power in the day this was uploaded
Will this turn off street lights by aiming at the photosenser.
Great video. The camera setup looks great. Hopefully you didn’t burn a hole in your ceiling from that light. That is some next level lumens
How long the batteries last in 8000 or even in Turbo mode? One hour? less?
Bouslama Karim 15 min max
What is the battery life on each settings?
Thanks for your excellent description of the functions and also the display of the torch . I now have one on the way to me in Australia .
That background music though. Fire. Awesome review, now I wanna buy it. Even though I don't even need it.
I never believe the Lumen output but that's awesome dude!🙂👍👍👍
Great Review.

I wonder how much money you could save on power lighting your home at night with one of these, if any. If you're only using one or two rooms at night.
How does this compare to the Olight Marauder 2 at 14,000 lumens?
It probably drains the batteries within several minutes, I bet! I have small compact Streamlight LED flashlight, I think its around 1,200 lumens, it has two 123A batteries in it, and if you keep the light on for 20 minutes straight, the batteries are pretty much dead!!

Turn off your lights and allow your eyes to adjust. Afterward shine this on your face and report back results.
i did that with the tn40s
Those are the only kind of lights i buy now. I use them every day. Getting another soon.👍
I'm not impressed by high lumen flashlights that dropped off in under a few minutes.
krom
*Does the tn40s drop lumens after only a few minutes, or can it sustain a high output?*
Would be even cooler if it had variable focusing...maybe in the next version?
Taklite sells the same exact light. They have this one and one with 4leds. I own both. Neither was close to $200.
Great demo, thanks for the critique. Been looking for a quality flashlight, looks like 1and a living room lamp too! Lol.
That’s actually a cheap price for the amount of lumens it has in comparison to brands like Surefire
Did you get the cool white or Neutral white?
Wait,it even comes with a 4 bay charger?
The tile in your kitchen has a repeating pattern.
NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT....🤷🏽♂️
Would definitely come in handy for a blackout or if your stranded in a n a really dark road. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Bamboo gtx! I was looking for a lamp to mount on my helmet for riding me trampa board.maybe too big a light
Why didn’t you go down to Key Biscayne and hop the fence at the lighthouse and walk through and illuminate the park area ... it’s almost pitch black.
is that an electric skateboard (6:51) ? what do you have?
Can you use it as a weapon mount with pressure switch
The Amazon link right now on this video(s) page, has the flashlight + batteries..
When my wife asks me what I want for Christmas...It will be this
Did you get it? Lol
That's amazingly bright. What a great light.
That’s a great light! Another great product review. Loved the ending. Lights out! Also. Your new camera set up is awesome! Definitely a smart upgrade.
Last i checked, this is like $130 and the X9R is like $600
Granted alot can change in a few years
Do you use your camera in Auto Focus? Great review, nice light but I’ll still take my 1200 lumen Surefire EDCL2-T for size
What’s the strongest flashlight on the market? And how long will the batteries last in full power?
Mount it to the front of a skateboard as a headlight
"This flashlight is brighter than the sun from one foot away"
The sun 96 million miles away- "Ha! Child's play!"
What is the price?

- hold my beer
"bruh that's a flashlight xD"
Looked everywhere...how long does a full battery charge last?
