I came to say thank you for recommending The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry in your previous videos. It has transformed me more than I could imagine, so thank you.
Been hoping you’d make a video like this! Thank you thank you! I’ve been slowing watching all your videos, taking notes and writing down your book recs. As a Christian getting into minimalism and… hoping to start a family soon 😊 your channel couldn’t have found me at a better time. I feel so aligned with everything you speak about, it’s amazing! God bless you Jess ❤
I love your channel Jessica ☺️ can you make videos talking about: minimalist cleaning tips, what do you actually need for a newborn baby and postpartum mummy and also what do you keep in your phone, which apps, how do you use your phone etc ? I really appreciate you 😘
Thank you for these!! I have a few of them already and the hormone one looks like something I need. I deal with PCOS and am currently trying to get my hormones balanced. Thank you for your content - keep it up!!❤❤❤
I loved reading The First Forty Days. I had my 8th four months ago and I try to be very slow in my recovery, but still working on my diet - we eat mostly really well but budget limits how much I can get. I also love anything John Mark Cromer - The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry was so eye opening! I don’t know if it was in that book or a different one, but his idea of letting your soul catch up with your body was huge for me - rather than rushing from one thing to the next, allow your body and mind to pause in between tasks or changing what you are doing, to allow your soul to catch up. I use that in my slow living mentality. It gives me permission to not rush. I have borrowed When The Body Says No in my library reading app (my eldest who is coming up 17 has a few health issues and also struggles with poor mental and emotional health, so I think I’ll find it very beneficial). I have the Whole Brain Child but can’t seem to get into it very often as it sounds too academic for my brain! lol I’ll defy look into the others though. I have
You look gorgeous in that shade of yellow! 💛 I recently stumbled across your channel and I love your content! You are one of maybe 5 channels who's videos I keep up with. Keep up the great work! 💕
One that greatly affected me is M is for Mama by Abbie Halberstadt. It came at a period in my life when I needed a perspective shift as a SAH/homeschooling Mom. Abbie is such a pool of knowledge for Christian mothers.
I wanted to share another beautiful parenting book that goes along exactly with the ones that you mentioned, it’s called “positive discipline”. It has some beautiful principles in it, and I think it would be well enjoyed by those who also enjoy the parenting books that you are referencing. 💕💕
Did I miss any from the list?! Drop them below!
LOLing at your first suggestion about hurry because I had the video on 1.5 speed hahaha. Immediately put you to normal speed ❤
🤣
Love your channel. Always watching and rewatching. Love your energy and communication. ❤️
Omg I requested this list from you because you always mention books that seem so interesting and that inspired you! Thank you so much!!+

LOVE that book! Currently reading her second one:)
Great list! I have several of them on hold at the library now! Trigger warning for When the Body Says No - some very graphic stories. 😢
