I thank you for this. Last night, I had a date ( more of a meet and greet) night that left me frustrated. I found myself feeling angry, tired and frustrated at myself and God. I have a dream of going to live in India with my family in 3 to 4 years as an expat thanks to a job position that I got recently. And yesterday I was sharing this dream and desire to one of my best friends, and she was telling me about her negative expériences with indian clients that she works with, the extreme poverty in the country, the racism... I told her that after living in several developed and 3rd world countries all over the world and myself coming from one of these 3rd world countries, having experienced racism in so many forms, even here in France where I grew up, I learned how to see the good in every single expérience, every single country and culture and individual, to embrace it all ! And now I want my child to see and expérience the same things with me and feel the humanity with the good and the bad. I am not letting this desire be dumb down by anyone.
