Jimmy, I played today and swung at 70% probably 90% of the time. 5 pars, 8 bogeys. 2 doubles and 2 holes I had brain-farts on. 13 fairways hit 6 greens hit, 6 1 putts and 3 3 putts. 6 up and downs, 2 penalties. Should have broke 90. Shot 95. But that’s with 2 9’s on the card. Except for the 2 bad holes it seemed easy and swinging at 70% was the key. What was interesting is that I found I hit the ball almost as far at 70% swing as when I swing at my regular speed. Much more control at 70% and more solid strikes. I know I’m on my way to breaking 90 more often thanks to your advice. I really enjoy your channel, keep up the good work! And thank you!

Jimmy, played today with my normal group and had a totally different mind set using some of your teachings and swing thoughts, shot 85 with no stress and no penalty shots or OB Much better round due to your teachings thank you .. Note the Hot tub got a little large at times but also shrank in for a Birdie too used the roll your put technique on every green and while the guys thought I was bowling it truly worked great only 1 three put all day

One of the best lines from this video. “Playing to your ability.” I think we all forget that and want to play like the pro’s. We are not pros! 😂. I will for sure be saying this to myself a lot tomorrow when I play again.

@@TropicanaEntertainment played today and used the approach of getting a 5 on each hole. Was playing pretty well until number 7. Had 5 double bogeys in a row. Wound up with a 95. More work to do. 🤞

Hello Jimmy. Finally found a wonderful golfer/teacher who talks golf like how I would play. Except that I would get carry away when I have an open shot on a par 5 where I would go straight to my 3 wood and end up with not so good results lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and strategies on playing each hole and each shot. Will definitely apply your way of thinking on my next round. 👍

Jimmy, you have got to be the most prolific content maker on RUclips. It seems like a new video coming out daily.
I like your sense of humor and the thoughts and ideas you drill into our thick skulls.

Thanks Jimmy for showing how you fix divots! I saw a video once of a golf course superintendent where he twists the prongs slightly towards the center instead of pulling it toward the center, which I find works fantastic. I had asked to see how you did it as in previous videos as it seemed you did the whole process in literally 2 seconds. I thought you had a different way of doing that so fast. It’s great how you are interacting with your viewers. A lot of RUclipsrs don’t. Even more for how much I enjoy and am slowing trying to change my mindset to yours. When I don’t try as hard, I see the better results too. You’re awesome! Thanks for doing these videos! 😊

I've already complimented you on your progress, but I'll do it again. When I saw you with Manolo, you were the funny guy everybody would enjoy playing with. Have a beer, a cigar, play some golf, good times. I must tell you, though, that I have seen your progression into a darn good golfer. Your videos have an audience, my friend, so go forth and prosper! Maybe we will play golf one day. That would be fun. Take care!

You're right brother. RUclips swing tips had me all fucked up. I had 50 thoughts at once. Hands, shoulder, head, wrists bow. Don't bow. Twist turn. I was ready to quit. One swing thought is enough for me. 😂😂. I watch now to understand how to actually play golf.

Really enjoy your videos. I went to the range today and practiced waving without a club in hand before actually hitting a ball. Had someone walking behind me wave back! Anyway, the tip really helped, so thank you. When I got home, my new 69 wedge was waiting for me. I’ll go back and practice with it tomorrow.
