I initially thought that this one would be too slow and tedious for me. In fact, it is a thing of beauty. Clarity, pace, content--all well done. And that right hand sweep gesture is sublime. I wouldn't be exaggerating to compare this to something from Hogan's "Five Lessons."
    👍 Kev

What a fabulous and concise way to teach the golf swing.

That slight re-center shift has been helping me recently. It’s like I’m more on top of the ball with better balance during the downswing.

Absolutely it's the feeling. As I started out I don't know how many times during the golf swing I suddenly felt a new feeling when I did it right to the point I lost concentration and duffed it. I was thinking wow, this feels comfortable, relaxed and powerful and was completely distracted until I repeated it over and over and it became normal and didn't break my concentration. Great stuff Jimmy. Where can I get one of your hats?

Since I’ve been watching, you’ve had 3 approaches (maybe you’ve had more that I missed):1. “say hi to the camera”which I’ve used with success. 2. Butt down, butt towards the target. 3. This video. Right hand held through impact. At first I thought this is weird and that you were switching techniques but I looked more closely and it looks like all three things are happening in the one swing! Good job!

I tried your way today. Shot a 92. But was connecting so well. I sometimes went up 2 clubs and swing super easy and was like butter. I did mess up my putting and sometimes the urge to hit hard crept back in on a few holes which were disasters. Duffs , jungles etc but the ones I played like Jimmy were like super clean. This guy is the best thing that I've watched on you tube.

Interesting your comment about being R handed. I have noticed that because most clubs for hire are R handed there are L handers who learnt to play with RH clubs who continue playing with RH clubs - they are generally big hitters.

I love the hitch swing that you promote. I've learned to use it very well with my irons and hybrids.
I've basically given up on my fairway woods, but it's also saved me at least 2 strokes per round...
I don't even take my 3w with me to the course anymore just so it doesn't tempt me... i just hit my 4h ~200yd reliably and lay up instead of chasing that dream ~240yd 3wood...

@@TropicanaEntertainment Interesting. I have hybrids from 3 to PW. Watching Jimmy and his advice on another video about not using the driver when there is trouble about I successfully used the 3 hybrid from the tee. But I teed it up low and treated it as Jimmy does a fairway shot.
Results have been good, not as far as the driver but much better control. On the fairway, not out of bounds and not in the shrubbery.
