I initially thought that this one would be too slow and tedious for me. In fact, it is a thing of beauty. Clarity, pace, content--all well done. And that right hand sweep gesture is sublime. I wouldn't be exaggerating to compare this to something from Hogan's "Five Lessons." 👍 Kev
This is the best step-by-step golf swing video in slow motion from different views with clear explanations that I have ever watched. Thank you, Jimmy. 👍❤️
Followed you for a while , took on board the course management stuff and the no roll of the hands today and had best round in a while, never looked like losing a ball all day 👍👍💪🏻
Wow 🤩 Jimmy, What a fabulous and concise way to teach the golf swing. You make me feel that I can learn and play great golf without all the complicated jargon that you get from most You Tube teaching. Thanks for your time and passion.
Haven't got all the lessons down yet, but the wrist angle through impact really has helped me today. Your lessons are very instinctive. Thanks very much.
Absolutely it's the feeling. As I started out I don't know how many times during the golf swing I suddenly felt a new feeling when I did it right to the point I lost concentration and duffed it. I was thinking wow, this feels comfortable, relaxed and powerful and was completely distracted until I repeated it over and over and it became normal and didn't break my concentration. Great stuff Jimmy. Where can I get one of your hats?
Since I’ve been watching, you’ve had 3 approaches (maybe you’ve had more that I missed):1. “say hi to the camera”which I’ve used with success. 2. Butt down, butt towards the target. 3. This video. Right hand held through impact. At first I thought this is weird and that you were switching techniques but I looked more closely and it looks like all three things are happening in the one swing! Good job!
This is amazing video, especially, seeing from the front side Jimmy. Love how you explained things so simple and easy to understand. I like the right hand explanation cos I always thought I should have more control on my right hand since it's my dominant one. Thanks so much for clearing it up for me. This clip has everything a golfer needs for a great foundation. 👍 👍
@@TropicanaEntertainment no wonder pga tour or teaching pros don't show this angle 😁. Thanks for going the extra mile and risking your expensive camera to show us Jimmy!
I tried your way today. Shot a 92. But was connecting so well. I sometimes went up 2 clubs and swing super easy and was like butter. I did mess up my putting and sometimes the urge to hit hard crept back in on a few holes which were disasters. Duffs , jungles etc but the ones I played like Jimmy were like super clean. This guy is the best thing that I've watched on you tube.
Hey Jimmy, I really appreciate the passion you bring to the videos you create that are helping many every day. Question, I was keeping the right wrist in that position but struggling with ball flight to the right - any tips? By the way I believe your channel will explode with subscribers. Thank you for what you’re doing, greatly appreciated.
Another brilliant video Jimmy. Truly appreciate all the work you’re doing.. quick question - 4 - 6 irons ball position middle or forward ? Appreciate your feedback
Interesting your comment about being R handed. I have noticed that because most clubs for hire are R handed there are L handers who learnt to play with RH clubs who continue playing with RH clubs - they are generally big hitters.
I love the hitch swing that you promote. I've learned to use it very well with my irons and hybrids. I've basically given up on my fairway woods, but it's also saved me at least 2 strokes per round... I don't even take my 3w with me to the course anymore just so it doesn't tempt me... i just hit my 4h ~200yd reliably and lay up instead of chasing that dream ~240yd 3wood...
@@TropicanaEntertainment Interesting. I have hybrids from 3 to PW. Watching Jimmy and his advice on another video about not using the driver when there is trouble about I successfully used the 3 hybrid from the tee. But I teed it up low and treated it as Jimmy does a fairway shot. Results have been good, not as far as the driver but much better control. On the fairway, not out of bounds and not in the shrubbery.

Precise, clear direction without a lot of technical jargon. I’ve never seen it so simply adequately presented.👏👏👏

Thanks Jimmy! Ive quit golf TWICE this week already. Great video!

Took these thoughts to the range tonight and it's working. Thinking with just the right hand helps a lot.
Thats awesome. Im happy its working for you. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video. I really like the slow motion and seeing how the right hand and left elbow travels.
Im glad you like the video. Thanks for watching

That slight re-center shift has been helping me recently. It’s like I’m more on top of the ball with better balance during the downswing.
Good stuff 👍
The recenter is everything!! Keeps the ball from going left and allows you to turn through the ball with power

Hey shawn. Your ball is probably going right because you are decelerating at impact. Keep the swing going all the way around

Where do you place the ball for your woods? (3w,5w, 2w/Hybrid, etc)
Back in my stance. Only the driver is off the front foot.
Jimmy, you should have nearly 700,000 subscribers instead of 6,700. I don't believe any golf teacher teaches this way.
Haha. Im glad the videos are helping. If it gets to 700k that’d be great too.
I tee off with my 3 wood. So should I still position then ball off my front foot?
yup. everything the same

at the 4:40 mark, you say you "push" forward laterally. are you pushing forward with your right foot/leg, or your hips? or all of the above?
Slight bump toward the target with your hips
With the club in hand it looks like your right palm rotates to face the camera not behind. A bit confusing.
Real is not feel. Try what I say, not what you see. Thanks for watching
I’m pretty sure we would enjoy a beer together

Thank you for this video, watching Englishmen teach this style of swing comes across as complicated gibberish.
