99% of weekend golfers need to take this approach. I started down this path recently and I'm starting to settle into a very relaxed mindset when I play. No shot is a big deal, if I sense pressure I take less yardage which helps finding the center of the club face.

Jimmy you da man...I just shot an 82 using what you have been preaching. 1st off im 67 and i havent broke 90 in 30 years, Ive tried all kind of things to right the ship. I tried stack and tilt,and the Jim Venetos swing. plus a couple of other expensive band aids but nothing worked for very long. If I still lived in Socal (Poway) Id buy you a beer.. Absolutely agree that golf is a game of accuracy vs power. But from the pro tours we amateurs are usually hearing from the commentators- “ man did he stripe that one for 325!” Thanks for bringing common sense and good course strategy! My next goal is to lower my handicap into the single digits. This is the kind of strategy that can get me there. Leave the ego at home, and play the game.

Watching the tournament in South Africa at the moment, honestly, some of the pros need to do this - they're spraying drives all over the place. I guess they have to hit long, but they end up in the rocks, bushes, and scrub - and to them it's actual money. Another great video Jimmy...

Man, I need some "Tropicana" medicine! I hit the ball farther than anyone in my league. But I'm in this bad habit of losing balls and three putting. OUCH! I'm watching all of your videos all over again prior to next season! I live in Ohio and our days are getting shorter. I am, however, trying to figure out that fine line between your "lateral movement", and prevent myself from swaying (which I have a tendency to do sometimes).

Omg Jimmy..had these same scenario..and it worked..soooo good..easy punched low out..and same 3rd shot..just wanted to be in the front..didn't go for the green..took all that bad juju out of the equation..easy chip and putt.
