Just remember to remove the bag from the vac cleaner and do it quick. Seats will not get soaked and will dry in no time.

Hey man, I was wondering if the seat is still wet after that vacuuming. If it is, what to do next to make it dry?
@@ajovamemescollector8291 in the summer, it dries almost instantly. But normally it takes about 30 minutes. You can use a sheet or a towel to help dry quicker

Cleaned the seat in 3 minutes while most videos would still be on introductions and random crap nothing to do with the video. Nicely done 👏😌
I did this and it worked well. I mixed it with oxyclean (powerder) and laundry detergent (tide liquid). Then used a wet/dry vacuum. Get the rest with a towel to get as dry as possible. Repeat as necessary

Just be careful when mixing cleaning detergents of any kind. They can release really toxic gases. Not all of them mix badly but I wouldn't risk it so please do research and stay safe🙏

Typically, on a hot summers day the seats will be totally dry within 30 minutes.
In the winter I use newspapers to absorb the moisture.
Sevan Motors FORRERA I use my arse to absorb the water instead soaks up in a couple minutes

This video was recorded in November, in the winter and I was wearing long sleeve jacket. I drove it home the same day, it was a bit damp, then completely dry the next day. if you use a powerful vacuum it will take a short time to dry.
Add into soapy water fabreeze as it works on the cause of smells. Also using a stain fighter for laundry can be helpful.

I wish if you used TIDE in the bucket then you use the water extractor.. or you spray more water with vacuuming to make sure you take all solution out from the seat..

can i use any vacuum though? i do not own a specific wet vacuum or whatever its called and im worried this might ruin my regular vacuum
Don't use your regular vaccum, it will get ruined. Also those water marks are most likely going to show up again once the seat is actually dry.

I use the same method but not with Fairy. I use my clothes washing liquid. If it cleans my pants, it will clean my seats...simple.

I think there might be a nordic hex on your car sir, you are gonna need alot more that soap to get that out.
I once used green Fairy Liquid on a small stain in a beige carpet. It left a green mark, worse than the stain. The carpet cleaner I called said Fairy contains a green dye. Should be fine on dark fabrics.
I used this method many times and never had a problem. However, don't put much fluid, do it quickly and you have to do the whole thing otherwise you might end up with a stain.

On a hot summer day it will dry almost instantly, let's say 5 minutes, as long as you use a strong vacuum cleaner,

There are two reasons for the need to put covers on the seats: to protect the original upholstery from wear or to protect the original upholstery from prying eyes when it is already worn. The principles of selection are the same in both cases.
WOW I have a new honda fit 10months old and this has been a pain in the a$$ black cloths seats NEVER AGAIN in the summer and winter stains all the time im going to try dawn dish detergent and this trick thank you so much!

Has the stains only been removed because the seats are wet though. Once the seats are dry the stains will still be there.
The seats remain clean after they dry, as long as the stained are not greasy or oil.
Non greasy stains will go for good
Modern seat material shows stains much more than old velour did.

I don't know what my wife used but the Hyundai H1 van looked great, even the stained seats. I think is was general purpose cleaner, a bucket, brush and clean towels. I told her it was a worthless endeavor. I was so wrong. Maybe someone put scotchguard on them.

I bashed the seats with a hammer today just to see how much dust/dead skin cells came out. It was never ending but pretty satisfying. Wouldn't recommend using a hammer though, leaves little marks and can distort the cloth.

If you wash the whole seat, not just one part, you won't get water stains. I've done it so many times.

you need to wash the whole seat, not just the dirty part. Otherwise there will be a stain.

Fairy dish liquid is called YES dish liquid in Sweden. Different name same brand.
Question if you were to let it just dry without using the vacuum does it work just as good?
You use the vacuum cleaner to remove the dirty water as much as possible. And then just let it dry naturally.

you need to take that in consideration before starting.
It will dry completely within 2 hours on a hot summer day, bit longer in the winter.

Definitely the shop vac is key. Had a transparent and cheap fishtail extractor head . And suddenly you're almost at professional level!

Dropped milkshake on my seat. Removed the excess shake. Filled the seat with fairy liquid and let it dry out on a hot sunny day. My seats looked cleaner than when I dropped my shake.

It's best if you use a powerful vac cleaner to remove as much water as possible, it has to be wet and dry, means you need to remove the bag in order to use it with water. I haven't used a Henry before, sorry.
