Wow Daniel, making me regret not waking up at sunrise as I think we had the same conditions where I am! You have showed us perfect example of how to make boring completely clear skies work for a photographer 👍😉
Great video mate, and the way the mill was lit up was great. Nice to see the mist hung arou d just long enough too. I think sometimes we can get too caught up in getting the perfect conditions so great to see a video that incorporates that.
Thanks so much Charles, totally agree. That’s the trouble with shooting places you have done before, you have a vision for them and if it doesn’t live up to that vision it’s easy to dismiss it but conditions rarely do exactly what you want, which is also the thrill of the chase !
What a great location Daniel, and love the photos especially the pano. Managed a trip to Northumberland to visit some of the family and had a couple of trips out to the coast at sunrise. Also had early starts as sunrise was 04:30 up there! As lockdown eases will try to get across to Dorset! Thanks again for great film, Andy

Great music, atmospheric scenery and a nutty photographer who doesn't sleep. You got lucky with that fab mist/fog. Great drone work. Cow parsley looks fab. Great location and I love the weir also. Never saw the other shot (though it has allegedly been done to death) . Great shots Daniel especially 'When the light hit' and the Pano. F.

@@ferguscooper I seem to get about four hours a night max then after about five days of that I have a couple of nights of good deep sleep for a full 9 hours ! I’ve been that way for years !

Nice one Daniel I have been twice but it’s quite a way from me and I have never got anything worth keeping as a shot but I looked at shooting from the bridge but it was one I thought about in Autumn, but I love your shot with the flowers , which would be better than my Autumn attempt if I get to do it , but I need to get lucky in Autumn with a mist and a hard frost. If I get all that then I will put money on the lottery
Thanks so much Rob, I’ve done it in the autumn and the trees certainly look more appealing but then there’s no flowers plus the sun moves a bit too far round, it’s deffo one of those shots that’s a compromise to be fair !
Keep going, when it pays off it really is well worth it ! Look for low wind under 3mph, high humidity of 95% or above and hopefully you will nail it ! Good luck !

I know the feeling mate, work is killing me at the moment and getting up at 3am on a work day is just not going to happen plus trying to avoid the coast for sunset as it’s super busy ! Deffo a real struggle !
