Forest Lawn Memorial Park - Hollywood Hills is one of the six Forest Lawn cemeteries in Southern California. It is located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, California 90068, in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The first Forest Lawn, in Glendale, was founded in 1906 by businessmen who hired Dr. Hubert Eaton, a firm believer in a joyous life after death. He believed that most cemeteries were "unsightly, depressing stoneyards," and pledged to create one that would reflect his optimistic beliefs and be "as different, as unlike other cemeteries as sunshine is unlike darkness, as eternal life is unlike death." He stated "I shall try to build at Forest Lawn a great park devoid of misshapen monuments and other signs of earthly death, but filled With towering trees, sweeping lawns, splashing fountains, beautiful statuary, cheerful flowers, noble memorial architecture with interiors full of light and color, and redolent of the world’s best history and romances".
Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is the second oldest of the Forest Lawn cemetery property chains.
By 1946, Forest Lawn at Glendale had bought some 490 acres (200 ha) of land which had been known as the Lasky Ranch, the Providencia Ranch, which had a house and outbuildings, including stables and corrals, and part of the Hudkins Ranch, also known as the Old Lasky Ranch. The Lasky Ranch had been used as a film location since the early 1910s, and films made there included All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) and several of Charlie Chaplin’s early comedies, including Sunnyside (1919). The 1,000-acre (400 ha) Old Lasky Ranch had also been used for filming many movies, and Warner Brothers had leased it in 1929. D. W. Griffith’s The Birth of a Nation (1915) had been largely filmed on the Providencia Ranch.
In 1950, after a four-year permit process, Hubert Eaton began construction of a new cemetery on his land at Hollywood Hills. A curving and irregular road, laid out by 1951 among the rolling green hills, gave a rural effect in the heart of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The first buildings, a mortuary, an office, a garage, and a maintenance warehouse, were also built in 1951, and the new cemetery was opened for burials on March 4, 1952.[3]
Part of a mausoleum called the Court of Remembrance was constructed in 1957.
There are more than 150 celebrities interred at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. - Развлечения

Ashley is a cute young lady. I love her smile. R.I.P to all the artists.
Thanks for this upload, Scott, when covering the grave of Michael Ansara, you failed to mention that he was once married to "I Dream of Jeannie" star, Barbara Eden and that their only son Matthew, died of a drug overdose in 2001 and is interred next to him.
Thank you for taking the world to see these famous and entertaining people that have put smiles on faces all over the world. Peace be with you thank you Scott for your passion and empathy of kindness. Your altruistic demeanor means so much to your viewers to yourself and to your family and friends.☮️💜✝️⭐️😇🙏🌎❤️🩹
The father of John Ritter was Woodward Maurice "Tex" Ritter who was a pioneer of American country music, a popular singer and actor from the mid-1930s into the 1960s, and the patriarch of the Ritter acting family. He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Y'all should check into those neck ac fans... and a big brimmed hat...
I wonder why Roy Disney is not buried in the family Disney plot with Walt?
Scatman Crothers was also the voice of Hong Kong Phooey!
Deers Scott represent peace and love and what our creature wanted too bring us life abundantly amen.
What wasn't mentioned, Michael Ansara was married briefly to Barbara Eden. He even made a cameo on "I Dream Of Jeannie" during their marriage.
You and batbaby are the real MVP's walking all that. Thank you
It was quite the undertaking. Thank you JoJo
Bill Paxton I have a soft spot for….can’t stop crying when I see his grave. 😞 Judith Barsi is a tragedy she was a exceptionally strong actress at such a young age 😍
It broke my heart about Bill Paxton too! He was a victim of the clot shots. (Government ordered ) I lost my 9 yr relationship to that.
Scott it is very kind and generous of you to highlight up and coming RUclipsrs.
Anything I can do to help others grow their channels I am more than happy to
What a beautiful place for your final resting place. The Deer all over, so gorgeous. Thank you Scott and Ashley (you are so sweet and knowledgeable) for another respectful video. Peace and Love to you both ✨🕊
Another hip-hop legend passes away...

Ansara was married to Barbara Eden of I Dream of Jeannie fame. ❤️❤️❤️
Michael George Ansara was also married to Barbara Eden from "I Dream of Jeannie" plus was the Blue Djinn (gin) on "I Dream of Jeannie" and other characters on that show :) When I found out they were married I was blown away.
Michael Ansara was also married to ...Barbara Eden! He played the Blue Gjinn on I Dream of Jeannie.
Andy Gibb's parents are "buried" near him, his father in 1992 and his mother in 2016.
The red church is the Old North Church, where my grandmother's funeral service was held. Many of my family members are buried at this cemetery, as well as a few former clients. Thank you for this tour. I no longer live in So. Cal. so I haven't been to this cemetery in decades. It was nice to see this beautiful, peaceful place once again.
Forest Lawn IS The Cemetery of The Stars
Bat baby looks like cruella de'ville. I absolutely love it!!!!!
Well Done Scott and BatBaby... Well Done!!! 💝
Oh - ALSO ,I REALLY DIG Ashley 's Hair ( so Cruella ) - VERY NICE !!!!
Scott, your sidekick BatBaby, sure knows a lot of Hollywood history. Nice collaboration!
we ALL loveeee the Rainbow Room !
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
So many people have left us. It’s crazy how quickly has passed too. I remember when a lot of these celebrities passed. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
It hurts me so much every time I see Judith’s grave so sad what happened to her and her mother RIP little one 😔
This makes me want to cry. After all the times I've been to CA, I never knew Andy and Michael were buried there. Thank you for this. xx
@@jessicahartman3453 What??
The young girl with two colors hai was so peaceful and pleasant to work with!..love her attitude!
Rod Steiger was in the time machine , and Aussie!
Love this cemetery, a so very happy and peaceful place. Must be the energy there I don’t know, but it feels good to visit. Was looking for John Ritter’s grave for 2 hours until I found him ❤ my favorite guy
When I visited Lemmys plot he had only been dead a month and the plaque hadn’t been fitted. Shook hands with Ronnie James Dio when he was in Rainbow what a brilliant gig
My son is buried her. It’s such a beautiful place to lay your loved one to finally rest. I’m always so at peace when visiting.
Sorry for your loss.
Bill Paxton went to Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas. His picture is still hanging up at the school.
Most beautiful off the Forrest Lawn with real New England Church. Have great Hall for Music during Holidays and beautiful American Historic Mosaic. My Oldest Son Brian Nohr, rest in resent constructed Cove near Church. Is our California Family resting place under Blue Evergreens. Not far from Betty Davis.😍🙏🌅🇺🇸🇩🇰
RIP Judith barsi, RIP Jaws
The deer walking around reminds me that Cemeteries are a place of rest! Great video Scott!! Thank you God Bless
Andy Gibbs grave is a beautiful

Kinda crazy seeing different size grave stones with different levels of luxury. Kinda like as if they were like "yup, i died rich"
Thank you both for paying respects to all those we loved to watch. You both were so knowledgeable. Well done as always. 💞
This woman is sooo so smart wow I'm impressed
Judith Barsi was also in Jaws: The Revenge…she played Thea Brody, Michael daughter.

A whole history lesson in the graveyard. Very fascinating tour and paying tribute to Batman with the Batbaby!
Thanks for again taking me to places that I would never get to see otherwise!
Thank you for highlighting some of the lesser known stars! I remember them so well.
Want to thank u both for all yr work in research, driving walking, sweltering in the HOT HEAT. God Bless each and everyone u showed but God Bless Everyone that is Buried there at Gorgeous Most Ever Cemetery. May Each One Rest In Peace.
Love your channel. I do stuff like this too I went to Andy’s grave and put flowers. As well as Judith barsi and her mom’s. They just recently put markers down like the first part of the 2000’s thank God. This is pretty dope.
I'm 2 days late but I'm watching it now and I'm watching the whole thing nice work Scott and Ashley
Love her style. Reminds me of Myspace days.
Great incorporation of the backround humming sounds when you show picture of the deceased. OUTSTANDING JOB
I cried during this video... rest in paradise to all...
Great video, superb. I felt Ashley was knowledgeable and great "eye candy" you two have the right charisma something that's true.
Your next reward should be from the Guinness world records for the most graves visited. I can't believe how many celebrities that are buried here.
She's cute and just a little ol dictionary of facts! =) very cool walk.
This is a really good vlog, you two! Maybe a backpack for your rocks, a small pair of hedge trimmers or a pizza cutter to cut away weeds around the flat plaques, and a place to stash a cold bottle of water (or a thermos full of Tim Hortons..) would be helpful? NEXT!!
This was really nice, so many wonderful actors, musicians, comedians, etc... May they all rest in peace!!!
Ashley seems really awesome, I will totally check out her channel, I like her style very much and she seems really sweet.
That was pleasant and I love that deer come to visit. Very peaceful!!
Darn it!!! Prize Freddie Prinze
Great pieces with all your dedication with love and I enjoyed watching Hollywood Cemetary and I grew up a big fan of Ronnie James Dio 1983 Holy Diver and watched alot of 70's TV show programs with late actors from John Ritter and others take care and God bless you all and keep up the great 👍 work.
Ronnie James Dio was briefly in Black Sabbath. I bet all these celebrities who passed are happy still being acknowledged after they are gone.
Hey Scott Hey Ashley🙂
One of the best channels on RUclips
Stay safe and have a good one!
Thank you Donnetta!
I always love to see the deer peacefully wondering around the graveyard. They are so serene it calms the soul and what better place for that to happen?
I love hearing the sounds of the ravens.
Love you Scott , love your show , you have such compassion to all the gravesites you visit / remember ( little bat girl so cute (Ashley)
Quite a healthy tribute. Love the deer.
I love your guide. Her knowledge is formidable!❤
I loved this video Scott🖤.. Naya Rivera I still cannot get over how she passed ..That was so upsetting🥺 I absolutely adored her in Glee.. And I’m so bummed that I missed you Scott when you were in town that is going to bother me until the next time you come to Florida😝We absolutely have to meet up 🖤Kate
Don't forget that Charles Laughton played the Hunchback of Notra (might be spelled wrong) Dame.
He was also in one my favourite films Hobsons choice, co starring sir John mills, set in Salford Manchester UK .
Thanks for showing the deer in the cemetery. Please do a video showing Elizabeth Taylor’s grave.
Great seeing you Scott and some of your fans in Toronto today!!!
Can’t believe hardly any of them got flowers so sad
Thank you, great video! Number one on my bucket list was to visit Nip's grave and I was finally able to do it last year. After seeing it on your video I smiled after knowing we were at the right location. Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is the most BEAUTIFUL and serene cemetery I've ever been to! I plan to go back whenever I'm in LA again. Thanks again for the great video👍.
Glad you got to see it!!
Scott and Ashley you both did a great job and in that heat !brilliant video 🇮🇪👏🌹😎😍🤗
VERY interesting and enjoyable video......I was there in 2004 to visit Errol Flynn's grave....thanks for the memory.
I done that before put rocks down on people graves, thank U for honoring the falling!!, Great job Scott and Ashley 👏 🙏💞
When My Sister and i went to Hollywood for My 50th ( almost 3 yrs. Ago) Birthday , We went to THIS Forrest Lawn on Our way to take me to LAX , And we were looking for Judith Barski and when i found it i fell to my knees @ her grave and Just Wept ... GOD REST HER SWEET & BEAUTIFUL SOUL !!! And Her Momma Maria TOO !!!!
Curious why Hutchence was a 1/3 buried here. I would imagine a 1/3 down under maybe the rest an urn. Great Rock front man, one of the best. Thanks for the usual fine clip👍 BTW makes perfect sense Liberace would be laid to rest in spectacular fashion.
I loved this one. Definitely knows her stuff for sure. Fun fact Debbie Reynolds was the grandma on Halloweentown. It’s a Disney original movie there’s 4 of them. I loved them when I was younger and still do for the nastalga
You and Ashley definitely should do more videos together
Those deer probably visit everyday which makes it even more peaceful
Very good video! Thanks much. Sometime in the future, could you take a visit back to Bob Saget's resting place at Mount Sinai near there as well? Still no headstone, because of the Jewish tradition, but still would like to see. He is missed greatly!! Thank-you.
George Raft was also friends with Benjamin Siegel.

Considering all the work Roy Disney did I'm surprised he doesn't have a bigger memorial in his name.
Thanks to you both, so generous to share the visit of the resting place of these legacies.
Loved this Scotty Potty. Now do hollywood forever.....lol.......
😘
Thank you Scotty for this one. I always wanted to see Andy Gibbs’s grave. Felt really good to pay tribute to all the talented stars that passed. It must have been so tiring for you and your friend to do so much walking visiting each grave and to read and give us knowledge about each star. Really sad and difficult to believe they are all gone because we still can see them on screen at any time. May all the souls Rest In Peace. A job well done. Couldn’t ask for more Scotty. God Bless. Lots of love from all of us. ❤️🤗✌🏼💕
Where did you see Andy Gibb's grave? I watched this video twice and I never saw it.
@@jessicahartman3453 Hi. You can see Andy Gibb’s resting place at 20.45 in this video. Hope you find it. 🙂
Your cool but that attention seeking weirdo is cringe bro
@@josephfigueroa3302 agree. She added nothing but irritation.
I like Scott wilson
Michael Ansara was in the series Broken Arrow...2 seasons from 1956...he played Cochise....it's sad that the headstones haven't been trimmed around 🇦🇺🐨
