It's so fascinating to watch you crochet because you're maneuvering with long nails and because you're working from left to right. (I get it you're left handed) It's just cool to watch.
Thanks for teaching me graphs in such a simple lesson. Really appreciate it! Have you considered using the magic knot? I finally learned it. Just made a full size blanket without one end to sew in! I’ve washed it a few times and nothing has come apart.
It's so oddly satisfying to see another left handed crocheter on the internet!! Thanks for this video, it was soooo useful! You've opened a new world of inspiration for my works
Thank you SO much! I’m a LONG time crocheter but recently learned of graphgans but they looked a little intimidating on the face of it. You are an excellent teacher. I followed along and I get it! Thanks again, young lady!
I am a long time crocheter and didn’t want to get into graphs because it looked so tedious. However, after watching your tutorial I was amazed at how easy it is!!! Another thing to add to my projects! Love it. Thank you!
Girl, I remember watching this a couple of months ago and you had made it look so easy but I didn't have a project in mind at the time to try it out. Yesterday, when I tried to make my first grid (for a friend) I found myself here again and it turned out really pretty! Thank you for the time and effort you put into making the video and I hope my friend will like her present 🥰
You're such a great teacher. I thought this was going to be a lot harder than it was but you explained it perfectly. Also thanks for naming that thing on your finger. I saw it on the video with your sisters on the other channel and was wondering what it was. Tfs. You're awesome.
I'm so glad your video was the first one that came up when I looked up how to use a grid to crochet. I've been reading patterns for years and was so intimidated by the grid but you explained it so well. Thank you!!!!
Thank you!! From another video I found Stitch Fiddle (and I'm so happy about it!) It let's you pick your brand of yarn then upload an image and it generates a stitch pattern along with what all yarn you need. I've wanted to do a baphomet knitted sweater for years but I could never design it right. Now I have the pattern, but wanted to make sure I do this right before I waste months of my life lol thank you so much for explaining this all. I'm new to this craft but learning so much and this really helped. Best wishes!🥰🙏
I love your tutorial. It's the changing of the colors that confused me. But seeing this tutorial gives me hope. I have the jamacian color flag as a heart, so I'm going to try it, I have the written instructions.
Thank you so much for this video!! I recently purchased a minecraft axolotl pattern from etsy and was super nervous about reading the grid. You made me so much more confident and with your expert help; I got this!! 💪😸
Thank you for this! My boyfriend is hard to gift and he loves Magic the Gathering. I cannot find a pattern for his favorite card/character or anything else he’d need/want from the game. I found graphs for the mana symbols I wanna try to make into a blanket but I have no idea how to use graphs! Lol. This is so, so, so helpful. You’re a lifesaver!
As another leftie crocheter who chose to do it left-handed(i know a lot of lefties learn right style lol) im so happy i found your channel. It makes so much more sense!! Also i didnt know you can drop colors instead of having to take the colors along like in knitting!
Thank you for this video!!! I have wanted to do this type of crochet for a long time but never saw a video as easy to understand as this one! Can't wait to try this!!
I have a quick question, when you're switching from white to red, when you go back to white on the other side of the heart how do you prevent having a stretch of white yarn just line the back of the red heart? Thank you! love the video!
She needs to crotchet the white along too but behind the colour she’s using otherwise it won’t work. She didn’t show us how it looked from the back. If you look for a girl called HappyBerry Crotchet, she’s amazing and will explain everything you need to know. Her work looks great from front and back. She’s done a really pretty continuous heart pattern. Hope this helps
In the nicest way you crocheting with your left hand scares me so much 😭 but it’s also super impressive and also having long nails 😳 you’re talented as hell. Btw nails are fire
You just follow the exact same steps as seen in this video, except you will just have to figure out which part of the clothing you want to create the image. So if you want it in the middle, crochet normally until the middle of your project, and then follow the graph until it looks the way you want it to look.
I was a little worried after only making teddies, when I saw a graph pattern, but this video made it seem very easy and I feel confident trying it myself.
Thanks for the tutorial.....really helped.. I'm the type that skips the video to wherever i want..but i like the way you talk..that's why i watched everything without skipping 😂
Is there a way to prevent it from looking so messy , especially around the edges and on the square white bit in the heart it looks very odd as it doesn’t match up , so are there ways round it ? Thank you xx
I did this for the first time yesterday if its possible... I just watched a same youtube video.. Then, boom i did it. I made a crochet headband.. Simpl but beautiful. ❤️
This is so helpful im trying to make a dallas cowboy throw for my husband this my first time doing graphgan or grid crochet. I'm glad i saw this, but im having a hard time finding a pattern that is simple with this grid chart. Is it possible i can do my own on grid paper
You change the color right before you complete the double crochet; so after you pull through the first time, you will change colors when you pull through the second time.
Do you always start a graph pattern at the bottom left or bottom right corners? I have a graph pattern that has row 1 at the top of the graph so was just wondering if I should start at the top of this particular graph pattern?
How would I go about adding something like this to a hat? Especially if you work in one direction on it??? I wanna do this but how would I alternate if I’m working on a hat? Would I just crochet and flip the project when I get to the pattern?
It's so fascinating to watch you crochet because you're maneuvering with long nails and because you're working from left to right. (I get it you're left handed) It's just cool to watch.
I thought the same
Blows my mind-I’m soo right-handed!
Thanks for teaching me graphs in such a simple lesson. Really appreciate it! Have you considered using the magic knot? I finally learned it. Just made a full size blanket without one end to sew in! I’ve washed it a few times and nothing has come apart.
Im left handed. Can confirm we are mythical creatures 😁😁😁
i’m left handed but force myself to crochet the right handed way lol
It's so oddly satisfying to see another left handed crocheter on the internet!! Thanks for this video, it was soooo useful! You've opened a new world of inspiration for my works
As a lefty crocheter it’s comforting to see a tutorial where I don’t have to invert in my head. ❤
Thank you SO much! I’m a LONG time crocheter but recently learned of graphgans but they looked a little intimidating on the face of it. You are an excellent teacher. I followed along and I get it! Thanks again, young lady!

This makes it very easy to turn any pixel art into crochet.
Right! Literally just unlocked a new level of crocheting for me!
Thank you so much for this! This is the easiest to digest tutorial I’ve ever seen on this topic. And I love your nails!❤️

Almost everything has been confusing for me as a beginner, but this was the most straight forward video I’ve seen.

Straight to the point and great explanation!!! Got some graph paper created my own design and did it! Thank you so much!!!
Just starting to add images to my crochet projects and this tutorial was so helpful!
I'm so glad your video was the first one that came up when I looked up how to use a grid to crochet. I've been reading patterns for years and was so intimidated by the grid but you explained it so well. Thank you!!!!
When I found out you are left handed I got so happy! I’m left handed too so it just makes me happy seeing videos that are easier for me to understand
Wow. This is my first time seeing a left handed crocheter.. that's so amazing!! Idk how you did that.. so cool

If you carry the other color yarn through the work you won't have to worry about ends and it will be reversible
@@silverlining5097 Please I need a link to this
@@tricia3147 but won’t the other color show.. like won’t the red show in the white stitches for example
@@buldakcarbo ur supposed to weave it in when crocheting and pull the colour ur not usong tightly

Omggggg your left-handed with an amazing tutorial how rare thank you
This was unbelievably helpful. Thank you!
Thank you for this! I'm attempting my first graphgan project very soon and I will remember to read the graph correctly from this. 😁
This is really helpful. I couldn't figure out how to do this for the life of me lol This video has really cleared up my confusion.
I watched two other videos before this one and you answered all my questions. Wonderful video!
I DID NOT KOWN THIS WAS HOW Y'ALL WAS DOING IT!!!!
I love your hair. You pull it off beautifully. Thanks for helping with the grafting.
Thank you for sharing and showing me this method. I was wondering how to find the pictures with the graphs. You nailed it
girl I've been having such a hard time trying to make a heart this video is legit perfect!!!
A LEFT HANDED CREATOR! INSTANT FOLLOW! thank you for this video. I'm new to the craft so.... here we go!
Wow!, so much easier than i thought and you explained so well!
i have never seen anyone crochet 1.left handed and 2.with nails these long! mesmerizing
Amazing tutorial.
I’m just curious about one thing. How do you use a graph to make clothes like sweater vests or tops?
I’m a beginner at crochet
You just follow the exact same steps as seen in this video, except you will just have to figure out which part of the clothing you want to create the image.
So if you want it in the middle, crochet normally until the middle of your project, and then follow the graph until it looks the way you want it to look.
Thank you🥺 and thanks for replying soooo early
You can also use cross-stitch patterns since they're already in a grid
I was a little worried after only making teddies, when I saw a graph pattern, but this video made it seem very easy and I feel confident trying it myself.
Awe thanks for helping us out ✨✨
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am left handed too and have struggled to learn this technique.
girl, istg you give the best vibes, I love your nails, the simplicity of the video and your hair, new sub
Thanks for the lesson. You are a wonderful teacher. God bless.
Thanks for the tutorial.....really helped..
I'm the type that skips the video to wherever i want..but i like the way you talk..that's why i watched everything without skipping 😂

This helps me sooo much. Thank you!
No problem! Happy it helps. 🥰
Girl you are the best, thank you so much for sharing
Thank you !!! Love your hair color and style framing a lovely face!!!
Is there a way to prevent it from looking so messy , especially around the edges and on the square white bit in the heart it looks very odd as it doesn’t match up , so are there ways round it ? Thank you xx
I'm still struggling to find a good stitch that allows for more cleaner lines and transitions! Have you had any luck?
When you start the first row, do you crochet in the side of the chain? Or the back bone??
❤❤❤ love your hair!!
Omg
It is here
Thank you so much for the tutorial
You are amazing
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching. 💙
If we want to make the graph lot bigger should we double the number of the square? Thank you so much
Yes, you can make it any size you’d like to fit your needs. 😊
@@knitwithkali thank you so much
What if I want to increase the size of the pattern? Does it work the same if I designate each square to be 2 stitches?
Yes it will, as long as you keep it consisten such as 1 square = 2 stitches
Thank you for making this video. I’m left handed and it’s so hard to follow people who are not
Thankyou btw i love your hair. It looks gorgeous
Yay 🎉 finally a fellow lefty to learn from 😊.
Im also a lefty 😁im so glad, thankyou so much you explained it so well
Can you tell me how you secure the back loose ends 🥹🥹 on the projects please thanks
Hiya! Have you found any videos on this? I'm struggling so hard with making the back of my scarf look "clean" with all these cut ends. 🥲😅
Thank you for explaining . I was so confused
This video was SOO helpful! Thank you!!!
ahhh I love the corpse merch!!:3 I have the same one
I did this for the first time yesterday if its possible... I just watched a same youtube video.. Then, boom i did it. I made a crochet headband.. Simpl but beautiful. ❤️
This has been so easy to understand, thank you so much! I'm excited to crochet some of my drawings. ❤️
This is amazing we’re did you got that row counter
This is so helpful im trying to make a dallas cowboy throw for my husband this my first time doing graphgan or grid crochet. I'm glad i saw this, but im having a hard time finding a pattern that is simple with this grid chart. Is it possible i can do my own on grid paper
Saw corpse merch and immediately subscribed!!
thank you so much for this!! i have a question, do you always chain 1 before a new row?
You do not have to but it makes neater sides
im a beginner and i didn’t have any idea of how to read a crochet pattern, tysm !
Subscribed immediately when I saw the Corpse hoodie
How could we go about doing this if it were in a magic ring? Like on more a round project?
How can you work with that nails? That's talent! Just Amazing
A year of practice, haha. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing. Can you please make another tutorial on how we can create our own designs on a graph paper?
No problem! And yes, I’ll practice doing that and then make a vid 😊
@@knitwithkali thank you ❤️
Wait this is so cool tysm!
I love this video!!! I have one question doh how do you color change with double crochet🥴🥺😞
You change the color right before you complete the double crochet; so after you pull through the first time, you will change colors when you pull through the second time.
@@knitwithkali I been watching this tutorial since yesterday and I’m gonna try again right now 🥺 you’re very talented I must say 😍
Do the same instructions apply when working in rounds, like if I’m making a hat?
Thank you so much for this! It's so helpful 💖
Thank you so much that was a wonderfull tutorial 🤩☺️
I saw someone say that each square of the grid equals to two loops. Is that important if you would make a sweater or some kind?
Say I’m using this design but want to make it bigger. How do you do that without confusing myself?
You would just edit the dimensions in stitch fiddle until it is the size that you'd like.
Excellent tutorial.
Hello…how would you add it to your project such as a blanket etc…
thank youuuu!!!!❤
Thank you this helped me so much 💗💗💗💗
It was very helpful thank you
Hi kail I was crocheting for one year!
