with the bag, i'm wondering why you did the last pull-through of your stitches with the next colour for the first few colour changes, but not with the rest? it would make your graphs way neater

One thing that I do not like about crochet back is that once you put things inside the weight makes the straps enlarge, I would like to find out how to prevent that part. Beautiful pieces

I'm just curious cos I've watched several videos now on how to design for crochet and it even though it seems fairly straightforward, initially, most of the 'designers' claim to go through testing and grading etc. first. I'd like to know if that's your process too.
for patterns, i’ve personally never created one for the public that’s written, however it would be incredibly important to do testing to make sure it is a pattern that can be made for different sizes as well as different yarn types . so i would definitely do the testing phase before publishing a pattern for sale just so anyone who purchased it will get exactly what they hoped for :)
I want to create a small no face pillow however, I’m not sure how to create the grids so that the measurements can be accurate for the piece of the project. I guess I can guesstimate what the number of a foundation chain would be for a pillow when crocheting so I can count the length and width of whatever grid I like, but the real issue for me is figuring how to perfectly grid the picture I want into the center of my project.
I think I saw a video by Mahum about using graphs and calculating it. I figure if anything you can add little bit around the margins/edges and maybe at the end align it and sew over the extra edges? 😅

it’s best to line the handles and the inner bag with fabric :) you can hand sew it or use a sewing machine to sew it and it makes the handle less stretchy and more durable

i think if you chain the entire length first then make the wridth then it wont strech as much
