    There’s something Nissan SA is not telling us. First it was the NP200, now it’s the Qashqai… 🤔

      And the Z and the GT-R and the Micra and the Pathfinder

    Nissan South Africa will have no products left. Still sad they got rid of the GT-R and refuse to bring in the new Z and Pathfinder.

    Another chopping block candidate is the Honda CR-V. I don't foresee lots of sales of that model here in Mzasi

    All we're gonna eventually be able to buy are SUV's and Crossovers from Haval, Cherry, Hyundai etc.. And i hate stupid crossovers. Give us nice sedans like the ones in America, the Kia Forte etc..

  • @mindfreeze0838
    @mindfreeze0838 3 месяца назад +10

    This car was always too expensive for what it offered past the first generation. Chery,Haval,Suzuki, Toyota and even Kia have better value models in their lineup. overall Nissan cars for what they offer,the price doesnt add up.

    Nissan SA should have played open cards.
    There have been quite a few specials on them, but they should have said it is a run out

      Yes you will. Dealers are required to stock parts for at least 10 years after a product has been discontinued. After that non-oem (after-market) parts are generally freely available.

    It's the pricing. They've outpriced themselves out of the market. Next will be Honda. Old Japanese cars have become too expensive. Thank goodness for Suzuki and the Chinese. Korean Brands best take note and rectify their strategies - they also seem to be going that way. VW is on a big downhill - They have done the same with pricing but seem to be more resilient because they have had chart topping sales previously but the last 2 Generations have not been good value and not as reliable as the models of the 2000s upon which they built their reputation. Its pretty much Suzuki, some of the Korean models and the Chinese Brands which are not only affordable but give you most value in terms of features.

    Nissan Micra, NP 200, Almera and now the overpriced Qashqai. Man at 670k for a 1.3 L , four pot CVT... quite nervy of Nissan SA . Next will be the X-Trail, because doesn't matter how good it is I'm not paying 810k for the AWD CVT which is the one to have. 550k max when new.

    I think they also take us for granted! Why did they not put a sunroof on it top of the ranger Qashqai model in South Africa? Why don't we have a diesel engine? Why don't we have all wheel drive? While other countries have all these options?

    The Chinese onslaught, next it will be honda CRV, Xtrail, Outlander, Peugeot suvs, they cant survive unless they bring substandard products like suzuki to reduce prices
    The qashqai is a good reliable car, still drive the first generation, as a run around, and no issues 12 years later, but I doubt I would buy another Nissan, nissan service was very bad, I kept the car running using independent garages.
