Probably the best review on this car so well done! However I regularly get 57mpg on short journeys and on a recent trip to Scotland got 73mpg. This is achieved by maximising the regeneration by putting the car in eco mode and selecting b mode as well as using the e pedal.
Best review of this car so well done! To achieve better mpg you must always set the gear selector to b mode put the car in eco mode as well as use the e pedal for maximum regeneration. I regularly get a minimum of 57 round town and on a recent trip to Scotland using the pro pilot got 73mpg and 700 miles plus out of a tank. Like all cars if you boot it it will not repay you with good mpg no matter what hybrid system you have.
I bought this exact model in mid may and after always driving automatic diesels this motor is absolutely excellent so so smooth on any type of road and it's actually as nice inside as it is outside so I highly recommend and I am very happy with it. 👍 this is an excellent video fair play to you.
For me the heads up display and Pro pilot are the best features. Oh and I learned the art of hyper-miling in my previous car (BMW 330E) and have got the Qashqai up to around 63mpg. Takes incredible discipline but it does mean every work trip gets me bunce fuel money to top up my rubbish car allowance
Truly excellent video I was much impressed all the others I have seen didn’t show where the display came up once you pressed the button and what you could expect from the fuel graphics afterwards. All the other videos keep telling you about the equipment you get with each trim but not how to operate them. Yours although shorter than many of the others was much more informative. Thanks Ps I have just leased the epower N connecta of the new facelift model.
