    Great vid Tim, hope you enjoyed the Juke Hybrid. The 2024 facelift addresses some of your concern’s , redesigned headlamp units, almost double the size screen and a whole host of other small improvements. Will be looking out for your updated vid if you get one done.

    Is there a different in driving performance between the normal petrol version in the hybrid/electric?
    I rented the normal petrol version at Christmas last year and loved the form factor and features, but wanted for a little more power. Quite fuel efficient though.
    Thoughts?

    • @TimWilliamsHD

      Higher mpg would be the main thing having the electric motors available to run the car when cruising and moving in traffic

      @@TimWilliamsHD No difference in terms sporty drive? I felt a little more GO would be nice, felt a bit slow off the mark at times.

    When you drive does your arm sits on the armrest and your hand on the gearing shift?Or the armrest is just a cosmetic?

    17 inch … weird how they deny you best wheels on higher specs.. all manufacturers

      You're absolutely right. At least you should be able to spec the wheels down, if you want.

    If only Nissan would remove those "front round lights" I would think it was good from an aesthetic point of view .😕

    In terms of practicality with it's magic seats, rear passenger space, driver visibility, this Juke doesn't come close to the Honda Hybrid Jazz.

    How can it be good for the petrol engine to be started at such random intervals when you need some extra power? I see that you are coasting using only EV and than for the strong acceleration petrol engine kicks in and goes very fast on high revs, so basically from cold on high revs and that is never good for any internal combustion engine. That same principle goes for start-stop system. Although it reduces the carbon emission but in fact it is not good for the engine. Some would say that "they know what they're doing"... but are they really?

    • @benhandyside8828
      @benhandyside8828 Год назад +1

      The engine will always start from cold even though you're driving in EV mode, the engine will only turn off once it's warm. So it's never a cold engine apart from the first start.

    There is a rare high performance Puke which gave me a shock and almost wiped the smile from me and my old SLK350 face!
    A good sleeper but a terrible choice of hot hatch.
    The cooking versions are simply Milf Floats! 😂
