Woohoo at the age of 56 (Young at heart)i still love this car mine is a 2014 Standard Nismo RS, but they stopped making them for North America in 2017 :-(
I waited for some essential tips, like cambelt change, dpf issues, reliability of certain versions etc. None came. Well presented buying guide without acknowledging that time has now passed and there are significant issues that could have been mentioned
I have a 2016 SL. bought it new, and put only 48,000 miles on it so far. However the CVT transmission went bad. Turns out that Nissan KNEW the CVT transmission was bad but chose to install them anyway. Fortunately, they lost a class-action lawsuit and now I get my transmission replace at no cost to me. Otherwise, a fun ride!
My daughter had an 1600 petrol 2013 and is a nippy car and refined driving it The transmission is a CVT but works well. Its advised though to make sure in servicing that the CVT oil and it's filter are changed at 50000 miles from new! (This will greatly improve mileage on the transmission)
2011, I just changed radiator and the fan at 170k miles . CV axles replaced 2 years ago at a shop, I work on most of my cars. This car sucks to work on your own. Cvt is running like it should, it does lag at times. I wouldnt buy it again tho. I’ll stick with older cars
Yep, dreadful problem; I had a 14 plate (new style) diesel Tekna which I gave back and had a full refund due to persistent, intermittent problems with this.
@canzukcommonwealth7309 mine was only intermittent. Most of the time it started. I miss my RS, but I didn't trust it to last like a Toyota. It was a whole load of fun in a Canadian winter.
Don´t buy a Nissan Juke. i am a cvt victim from germany. The transmission is crap. I own a Juke 2015 with 99.000 km. Now the cvt broke down. Repair cost are more than 11.500,- Euro. Never ever Nissan.
@@shaunwest3612 they say 1.2 digt is not good... we want one but we have qashqai with dig t. Beautiful car but takes lot of petrol. I think 1.6 will be better choice..
@@michaelbmw1931 I've had no trouble at all 🤷, obviously 1.6 will use more fuel as it's a bigger engine,I done a 400 mile round trip in my juke,it didn't miss a beat, great on the motorway and in town, very economical 👍
Im nearly 80 yr old . Have a 4yr old Juke which I love.To get out the car just swivel my bum, feet on the road, and stand up
I have a 2018 Juke I am 80 in July best car I have ever driven.
I really like this car because it sits high off the road and it is like a cross between a suv and a car.
Great to see a grown-up review. Thank-you.
Thank you for watching!

how do you get them to fix it
Mann congrats for you! Did you have a warranty?
My nismo rs only has 49k miles same age as yours still drives like new
This guy is very good at his job . He should be on it telly .
Thanks!
Avoid an older 4x4 version, the transfer case seals perished on mine and it's costing £500+ to fix.

What about fuel consumptions anybody...
The diesel gets about 55/60mpg
fuel is bad
Literally the same script as the juke 2021 review ,word for word ! Lol
New 2024 doesn’t have ventilation in rear!! Why sales man had not noticed it!
No wonder why the 1.6 petrol are so cheap 2nd hand
Why?
