Last week I just bought the Juke Tekna+ Hybrid, and i frickin LOVE IT ❤❤ Mine is top of the range, and has the ceramic grey and pearl black roof, this hybrid version was definitely needed, i had the petrol DCT before and its biggest flaw was how much the pull away was so jumpy, lurched forward or backwards in reverse, made getting going awkwardly difficult, but then the DCT was crazy fast shifting gears, the hybrid is a whole different driving experience
Picked mine up yesterday and i absolutely love it. Was averaging 59.1 mpg and is a really responsive drive - especially with the sport option engaged 😊.
My first drive when I picked up mine last week was 56.4, and ever since then, even with the occasional blip on the throttle to feel the speed now and then, I've not had mine drop under 42mpg! I love it, and it's surprisingly quick
Unfortunately Nissan is not a real Japanese brand anymore (no thanks Renault). So without doubt my choice has to be the Toyota C-HR. The next generation CH-R will be revealed on June 26th. If you are in the market for a car of this type hold out for the new C-HR.
I like how the Irish top-spec Jukes don't have those cheap shiny plastic head restraints like we do in the UK. Surely Nissan could fit Bose speakers into classy leather instead?
'It's kind of a dark black plasticky place to exist.' 😆 Love the reliability of Toyota but I'm going to struggle with this decision. Need to look into towing capacities for my quirky micro-caravan.
Had the pure petrol 1ltr great town car and well able handle motorway trips and found it light enough on fuel average 6 so can't understand why a hybrid which is ment be more economic etc uses more fuel, I know it 1.6 but seems counter productive , I changed when price service nearly doubled during covid, love new vids by the way
I also had the petrol auto DCT version, and that was sooo nice, but, its biggest flaw was that auto box was sticky! It was like you go to accelerate to pull away, and it was nothing nothing, nothing, nothing.... LAUNCH at full speed! This hybrid solves that problem And more
I'll never understand why you and others state "so you never need to plug it in" as if this is a great new feature. It's like saying a bicycle is great because unlike a motorcycle you never need to buy fuel for it.
@@NobbyOnCars I don't agree. When Toyota make this claim about their hybrids I think it's misrepresentation - trying to make old tech seem superior when it isn't.
Looks better then C-HR but Toyota haves better reputation in quality
Have the CHR, wouldn’t change it for a Juke!
How am I only finding this video today, fantastic pov video 🎉
Great review. Love the POV method of filming. 🙂👍

Just ordered exactly the same tekna+ in ceramic grey with black roof 1.6 hybrid.Pity there is no automatic boot opening tho.Love the colours
I get 6.5 l/100km out of my 1L petrol Juke. Very happy with it. I don't think the hybrid is worth it.
Nice review as always the lights also remind me of hot cross-buns too lol.

Great to hear!
59.1? Wow, I assume it was with a very careful drive in town?

Hey buddy!! Love your work. Would you be reviewing the 2025 version of Juke in coming days?
This Juke Hybrid is a fantastic car I wouldn't swap it for a CHR it does all I ask of it first class. Jon D.

Off to see it next Monday 😎
Nissan is Japanese though. Just sits under same umbrella as Renault who are very advanced in engineering.

Good review Nobby 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Great review as ever Nobby, this uses the same hybrid system as the Renault Arkana and Dacia Jogger.
This car is delivered to me in February 2024, I am looking forward to it. One question, the images where you see a blue Juke are Barcelona...?????
Not sure, they’re Nissan images
As they are built in Sunderland, are they exempt from Irish Customs if imported from GB?
Ha, sadly not
not bad still think id go toyota
Same here Toyota for me next time change
Try Hyundai, I'm very impressed with the Tuscon

Whats the performance in drive like between the hybrid and normal petrol variants.
Great review again sir👍🏽 but 37k 😬

A Nissan Juke or....
Something comparable....
A bike?
A tram?
A wheelbarrow?
A walk, and a bus...?
Yaris Cross VJuke. CHR in a different class
Sorry nobby, but what engine did you say is in it again?
1.6 L Hybrid @6:55

Because not everyone buying a car is as well informed as you. They don’t understand the concept.

I think it looks good, and can understand why people buy them.
While my head would say the Toyota, I just can't get over the god awful looks of the CHR so I'd have this juke
Toyota
Too much bla bla what the end point ho is better and why
You make a video so if it’s not good enough 👌🏻
Not very impressive
Take them awful frog eye lights off it and it’ll look much better. Can’t understand the new one still having them , they look hideous!!! 🐸
