  • Hi all, this is my Nissan Juke 1.6 Hybrid owner’s review. This is my car, I thought I would do a review to share my experience and observations about Nissan’s new Juke Hybrid. I am not a motor journalist and this is my first car video review. Please note this is about the Hybrid and it’s functions and operation, for a review about the Nissan Juke, please seek other reviews. Although I will do a ‘Juke’ review soon. Thank you for watching.

I have a 23 8 month old hybrid. Finding it over revs sometimes and quite bad when on motorway. Does this happen with yours?

Ah, this was brilliant for me. I have one of these on order but have read different things about what self-charging hybrids will or won't do. Seems it will do a lot more than I expected (I can't go full EV either). Thanks for doing this!

No problem, I really like this car, and the more I drive it the more I love it. Like yourself full EV isn’t an option yet, but it is a great compromise and has certainly scratched the itch for an EV for now.

Interesting. I too have a Juke hybrid Tekna + and found the car drives much like you say. I’ve noticed that it occasionally doesn’t like hills, especially if you start from low speed. I regularly get 58mpg but have achieved 62.1mpg. Likes - mpg, looks, tech. Dislikes - outdated infotainment system. Not a great lover of the Aero Wheels.

Thanks for reply. I think the same about the wheels and infotainment. Although it’s not liking this cold weather, mpg has dropped significantly since we’ve had this cold snap, which is likely because of needing more of the auxiliary’s and electric motor / batteries don’t like the cold. I’m looking to do a follow up review after Christmas. Still doesn’t like short journeys either.

@@TimeOut22 hi there. Thanks for watching. I am going to do a follow up as I am learning so many new things each day. The MPG took a bit of a hit during the cold freeze we had but now it’s warmed up … and I’ve been using super unleaded it has improved again but I’ve also changed my driving style, making better use of the drive modes too and this has seen a significant improvement indeed.

@@paulbarnett2234 What is the average mpg you are getting with this car? Thank you!

@@stacattos HI, during the warmer months was getting around 57 mpg on average, in the cooler months it drops to around 53MPG. Best I have got in one day was 81mpg. Doesn’t do so well on motorways.. averages about 49mpg dependant on distance and speed of cause.

    Q. You have yours a while now. I’m struggling to get the heads up navigation arrows on the dashboard screen between the dials. Any ideas please.
