According to Skoda the battery will preheat if the car is attached to a charger - and if you set the departure time. Then the battery should preheat 1h before departure and the cabin 30 min before departure. Have you seen if that's actually is working???? Have ME 3.x made any difference??
Only by accelerating hard, then doing full regen in B mode, and repeating until you raise the temperature. Rapid charging also raises the temperature but that's only useful if you're going to be charging more than once on a journey
Another good video, thank you. Daft laddie question coming though!😂 Where is the diagnostic port exactly located, is it easy to find? Really interested in being able to view my battery temp and get a bit more data in general from the car, but don’t know where the port is to plug the dongle into. Thanks, Gary

No the battery never pre heats on 3.x cars. The new 4.0 cars heat the battery off you trigger it.
more important how do you preheat the battery before fast charging?

Nice video, thanks. Can you leave the dongle permanently plugged in? Is there a reason you have it attached to a lead rather than hidden away?
I find if you leave it plugged it out can trigger the alarm when you're away. Gets annoying
