    I am planning/hoping to get an Enyaq 60. I am humming and hawing about the packs, which packs do you have or would recommend. I am still confused about the auto steer, as I test drove an enyaq, vw id3 and Kia e-Niro, the e-niro had it but kept to the left of the lane. Id3 only had lane assist and auto cruise control which was speed and distance so bounced between the lines, travel assist is in a £2k pack. The enyaq with just drive assist was very similar to the id3, but not 100% sure as the demonstrator config was setup a bit awkward.
    Great seeing the auto steer on those very familiar junctions especially the m9/m90 curve. Have you done that corner again without a car in front and if so, did it do the auto steer and speed well.
    Looking forward to seeing more enyaq videos while I am planning and waiting on the now 30 week delay on enyaq 60 orders.

      Thanks Neil, yeah they've made it confusing. When I ordered it was part of travel assist, but they changed it so you need the plus pack. I would definitely get that. Other than that I just got the heat pump, heated seats, reversing camera and then splashed out on the HUD 😂 just editing a video where we drove the enyaq and the ioniq 5 from morecambe to Livingston. TLDR the small battery enyaq v the big battery ioniq were so evenly matched, my friend had 2%more battery and 40 miles more range when we arrived. Hope to get that uploaded this weekend

    I’ve had my Sportline 85x for 3 weeks and still getting my head around this system. I was out yesterday and couldn’t get it right. It was slowing and speeding up on its own. It’s a weird feeling, but you have to let the car do it. Since Škoda took the 4th button from the right side of the steering wheel away, you toggle between systems with the rotary button.

    Thanks for the great video. I'm going for a test ride in an 80 next week. If I want to try out the travel assist (centre of the lane auto steer), how would I turn it on/off? Also, is it just for Dual carriageway and motorways, or can you activate on b roads too.

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  2 года назад +1

      you just press the travel assist button on the steering wheel - but it is an optional feature so if it's not fitted obviously you can't activate it. The manual says it is primarily for dual carriageway and motorway but I have used it on single carriageway A roads quite happily.

    Very telling that you're using Google Maps/Android Auto, Apple Car play's not bad either, both wipe the floor with the built in Sat Nav. That's true for every car I've driven, but I've never driven a Tesla. Answer's anyone?

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  2 года назад

      I Owned a Model 3 for 14 months. Maps look good but the open source map data is infrequently updated and when I bought the car was 2 years out of date. It got me lost as a result a few times and the traffic routing diverted me into a 90 minute traffic jam. I gave up on Tesla maps and used google maps on the phone mounted alongside te tesla screen

    Hi mate. I've bought a stock enyaq. Unfortunately it doesn't have any extra packs just the basic spec.
    It comes with lane assist as standard. How do you find this lane assist compared to the Model 3?

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  3 года назад

      I never used autopilot on the 3 as even TACC used to freak out due to shadows, trucks etc, honestly the ability to overtake without dropping out of cruise is fabulous

      @@deansh8506 yes I think it should, you need to steer into the new lane, even mine doesn't auto change, but unlike tesla it doesn't cut out and return to manual when you indicate to change

    I currently have an ID. 3+ & have ordered an Enyaq 80, all I want is the smaller wheels (less punctures, more confort) and as few auto aids as possible especially lane assist with I consider to be dangerous on the mainly county roads I drive on. I'm not getting matrix lights which are a gimmick I don't want auto lights as I like to be in total control of the car I drive. I have over 2 million kilometers of motoring behind me and I think big screens are a complete distraction, pay attention to the road I say.
