Hey, I bought a superb too. Most annoying part is when blindspot assist turns off almost always. Have you got the same issue?
Great channel. Always looking for tips here. Regarding blind-spot Skoda has changed the position on the mirror now. I have a brand-new Skoda Kodiaq and the blind-spot is now a much larger yellow light - four LEDs I think - on the inside of the mirror - between mirror and car.

Super zadeve postavljaš tukaj gor. Sam šele čakam na svojega medveda. Naročen konec decembra naj bi prispel v začetku maja. Izvedba sportline 4x4 190 ps avtomatik. Komaj čakam. Res veliko koristnega sem do sedaj našel v tvojih prispevkih. Super 😃
Najlepša hvala! :) Sportline je za moje pojme najlepši Kodiaq in taki bi morali bit vsi paketi. Na žalost je bil januarja lani Style največ, kar se je dalo dobit. Drugače pa je Kodiaq za mene najboljši SUV, kar se da za ta denar dobit. Ni idealen, ampak nobeden SUV ni, v resnici so drugi še slabši, ali pa za nekaj deset K€ dražji.
Hello! I have a skoda karoq ambition, withut ACC, end without front camera. My question is, if i buy end install the ACC on my car, can it works well without front camera? Can ot work normaly or need fornt camera to read the road? Thank you in advance
Hi, I like your videos. But can you make a video of the headlights while driving, please ? I ordert a karoq and I'm interested in the led headlights. Is the light adaptive like a matrix led light, like the audi q3? Thank you
Hi Alex! Check this: ruclips.net/video/QNCUls0vaM4/видео.html . The LED lights are not adaptive like the matrix ones but they can switch the high beam lights on/off automatically. And it can use fog lights when turning on the road.

I'm so happy with my bear's ACC too! And those are indeed "assistant" no driver replacement, you still need to keep hands on the weel and foot near the pedals (in case it goes crazy, milliseconds matter)
So "Traffic Assist" isn't even a name visible anywhere in the settings right ?
It's just ACC + LaneAssist pack, that video confirms the Lane Assist isn't up to Tesla Autopilot v1 :) (Just as I experienced it in the latest Tiguan)
On my end, I find the sign camera to catch signs that are not for my lane :( (eg.it puts the exit lane speed on my dashboard as I'm still on the highway)
Yes, it is the lane assist used at lower speeds. Unfortunately the roads in the city are not so perfect as on the highway (straight forward, clean and nice separation lines on the road) so the lane assist turns constantly on and off.
Regarding Tesla: even Skoda can make you headless ;)

Video is interesting, but the sounds are really annoying.. at least make them 50% less loud.
Sorry I have the Karoq with the Columbus ... Do you know how to download the then favorite Poi (speed camera etc.)? I tried to download them from the PC and I thought I found them on the pou (so at least I had read online.I must necessarily install them via sd card? Male you a video ??Thank you Best Regards Roman

Useful video! I'd like to ask a question. if i leave my lane assist system on all the time even there is no distinct lines on the road and the system searchs for lines, does it lower the system's life span? any bad impact on the life span of the system? thanks in advance :)
I haven't noticed that. My friend has surpassed 100,000 km and he is satisfied with the bear like me.
Does it prevents from changing the line when another car is in blind spot and has been detected? Kodiaq is able to steer a little to stay in the line so I would anticipate such functionality. But I've found nothing about steering, only alerting by blinking in rear mirror.
The steering wheel tries to oppose you gently if you have a combination of a lane assist and a blind spot.

it would be even better if blind-spot assist would make some audio signal in same time while putting resistance to the steering.

Hi, I have a new Scala, it has both Lane Assist and ACC, but it doesn't seem to have Traffic Jam Assist, also Lane Assist does not work below 60km/h, do you know if it's possible to turn it on somehow or is it a "hardware" limitation?
I had complaints from Kodiaq owners because it looks like Skoda has removed TJA from Kodiaq also.

Do you have kessy and alarm? Is alarm good for exterior shock or only door open/interior presence?
Yes, I have. The alarm is triggered when one of the following unauthorised actions is activated on the vehicle with an activated warning system: opening the bonnet, opening the boot lid, opening the doors, manipulation of the ignition lock, towing the vehicle, movement in the vehicle, sudden and significant voltage drop of the electrical system and uncoupling the trailer.
Triggered alarm is being seen on Skoda Connect.
hello, great Chanel , i have bought a kodiaq 15 days ago with all hardware needed for TJA and when i told service guys abt it (Croatia) and showed them your video they were confused. I even contacted Porsche in Ljubljana and showed them your video and they replied, qote:

Bok Duško! U stvari ne znam, šta da predlažem. Kad sam ja išao na prvi servis, pitao sam jih za taj upgrade (kolega je isto to napravio malo prije, ali su mu kazali, da ni je moguče, jer je imao model 2017), oni su me odmah pitali, da li mislim na ono, što piše na njihovom servisnom papiru, to je baš ono, što je tvornica slala, da moraju napraviti - tvornica ji je u stvari to naručila da naprave. I izgleda, da je to bilo tačno to. Možda su kasnije to umaknuli. Za moje pojme lane assist ispod 50 km/h ne radi baš dobro na mjestima, gdje nema crta. Tada volan ide svoju put i moraš da ga držiš. Svi Kodiaqi imajo po default front assist, tako, da če ti sam bremzati, kad to senzori ugotove. Originalno lane assist mora da radi na brzini > 65 km/h. Ali još prije provjeri settingse u vehicle meniju, jer možda nemaš šta uključeno. Lp R
Odgovor sa strane Porsche Slovenia kaže, da mora tvoj servis izvesti isti upgrade kao je bio izveden kod mog avta.

Samo volan pomaga in drži znotraj pasu. Ima pa Kodiaq ločeno še asistenco za situacije v sili.
'Asistenca za situacije v sili (v nadaljevanju le sistem) prepozna neaktivnost voznika, ki jo lahko povzroči npr. nenadna izguba zavesti. Sistem izvede takoj zatem ukrep, s katerim pomaga čim varnejše zaustaviti vozilo. S tem sistemom so lahko opremljena le vozila z avtomatskim menjalnikom. Asistenca za situacije v sili predstavlja razširitev sistema Lane Assist in ACC.'

Imam lane assistant v scoutu 2015.in takrat še ni blo opcije asist v sili.nekatere znamke imajo pisk ko greš prek črte.

how reliable is the 2-liter tdi engine?
I don’t know. This is my first VAG car and there are always rumors flying around 😁 nothing bad happened in my first 10 months. When I had Renault Grand Scenic, many friends were trying to scare me telling me how the turbine will go to hell but the car drove w/o any problems. I will have my fingers crossed regarding my bear and try to ignore the fairy tales 😎
2.0 tdi will live with good maintenance for about 350-400k km.
is this the same tech available to the Karoq?
The ACC, front assist , blind spot detection and lane assist are also available in Karoq, probably as options.
