To all the newcoming makers: Arduino is NOT only about games, simple led control or kid robots. Arduino can be used in more serious porjects, even industrial ones.
@@Charliedave4332 you can use it to take care of plants for you, use it a PLS with BUS communication, lawn mower, vacum cleaner, automate pretty much anything you can think of, in terms of physical objects, math and data. Personally I'm using it to make a fully automated herb grower and a CNC engraving machine. With more advanced projects in the future.

It is! But... I hate to burst your bubble, those kinds of things aren't "mind controlled" like you see in sci-fi. You don't think commands at them, they just measure how much you're focused or relaxed; so it would start flying even if you were focusing on a book or a sign or something.

I made an ultrasonic height and weight measuring device. I wrote the codes with Arduino and arduino UNO. Normally everything works fine. But sometimes after waiting for an hour or two, I take a measurement, the device is measuring, it shows the numbers on the screen, but it does not print the result to the thermal printer. The numbers stay on the screen, then the device is reset with whatchdog. This is starting to get annoying. can you help me with this

Arduino makes industrial (not sure to what protection level) and milspec units. So does raspberry Pi. Only difference is extreme cost, type and protection level for pinouts and rumor has it they use slightly better components than some brand name boards but that's debatable. Microcontrollers and single board computers are not the future they are here now. Honestly I didn't realize the power of these things till a friend got me a kit for $60 for my 40th birthday. Anything electronic u want to have control over these will get u there. If u want something electronic that isn't add a pi and a couple servos.
