There was an internal memo leak from a Hyundai exec meeting today (10/04) that made its way online on K-net. Someone had posted phone shot of the meeting talking points. They were talking about tooling a new factory which will be completed in 2024 as well as bringing the Hyundai N74 and Genesis Concept X concepts to full production by 2026.
Genesis X coupe set at 350 units, and 150 convertibles total 500 units and the 74 N Vision 200's unit limited run.

Combustion engines are great, but you'll probably have to pay 200$ per gallon in the near future lmao. Hydrogen Powered cars are literally almost the same except they don't puff out carbon.
I love my 93octane like the rest but with the cost of fuel ill do anything to drive for fun as much as i used to be able to. Ill welcome hydgrogen or solar + ev

All the pollutants are at the production of electricity. And production of the batteries, all we did is transfer the pollutants around...LMAO!

But they will say oh well not for the life of the vehicle hiding the fact that the beginning and end is when all the pollution happens along with the amount of energy it takes to make the semiconductors or rare metals for batteries . China owns the market for a are metals used for this crap. So effectively we’re are funding current and future enemy by giving them a monopoly. Funny how their military has grown exponentially in record time. Here in America the liberal is in bed with them either directly or indirectly. Republicans are to ie made in China on everything. Facts are everything is screwed up right now when foreign companies can claim American simply because they are allowed to sell purchase land and make factories like Toyota which forces Americans ca to go to Mexico just to get under cut because the wages are higher here than in all these other countries. Funny part is they have a synthetic fuel vw group was working on while having hydrogen currently but went the most dollar making avenue thus monopolizing electricity effectively lumping anything that uses it into the same market and killing another.
And what about the disposal of the dead batteries after they wear out… pollutants there too… EV isn’t well thought out
@@paulsandvig6961No it is not thought out well at all. We’re now dependent on battery tech and chemistry advancements to progress. Minerals run dry just like fossil fuels do.

Hyundai has found a way to entice customers to buy EVs rather than just going all electric despite no one wanting it.
Not really. There are all kinds of huge disadvantages to EVs which cannot be overcome. EV batteries require extremely rare materials, are frightfully heavy and expensive to manufacture, ship, install, and replace, and are almost impossible to dispose of in a pollution-free manner. They also blow up, by the way. China has a monopoly on Lithium and is prepared to hold the World ransom for it. These factors are what makes electric cars so expensive.
EV cars also have a short driving range, recharging is a slow procedure, and providing enough charging stations is a long-term problem. Charging EV batteries uses household-type electricity dependent upon that reviled municipal electricity-generating plant up the road which is powered by Gas or Coal. So, it turns out that your electric vehicle is powered by Gas and Coal. In California, they want to replace gasoline and diesel powered vehicles but they recently imposed a ban on charging EV cars because of electrical brownouts. Absurd.
Contrary to what you have been taught, Gas, Oil, and Coal are not FOSSIL fuels. They are natural elements, and they are plentiful. We will not 'run out'. We do have the technology to burn them cleanly in electric plants AND in internal combustion engines. Everything you've been taught about Climate Change is a politically motivated lie. Carbon Dioxide is a critical food for plants. Polar Bears and Ice Caps are doing fine. Windmills and Solar Panel farms - not so much.
So, all of the above things you didn't know about electric vehicles is being withheld from you deliberately. Car-makers are foolishly conforming to political correctness, governmental bullying, and public misconceptions, and continue to develop these useless vehicles. Elon Musk, who makes the best EVs in the world, has stated that EVs are NOT the answer. Some car-makers are losing huge sums of money and have already decided to stop developing them. Look it up.

While I do agree with you on a lot of the points that you have made that ev is not a great alternative however i do disagree with you with point that global warming is not happening I am currently at a disadvantage at this moment because of it and my electric bill is not an illusion global warming is taking place whether you want to believe it or not. You can ask the crops where I live why they can’t come to maturity this is the worst year ever everything is being burnt to nothing. Trees need carbon yes but everything has its limits if your produce a lot more than can be readily used up or the fact that deforestation is happening faster than trees can grow not to mention the forest that is now replaced by houses and factories. Not to mention, the shorelines that have been lost in places where I could walk so far out on the beaches have been reduced drastically. So, to act as if it’s not happening would be foolhardy. Their is a saying that they have where I’m form “who feels it knows it “.

Also EV’s are stupid because battery tech still isn’t there. They’re heavy as hell and in 10 years the batteries will be garbage and it will cost half the price of the car for a new battery.

as an old fashion guy who prefers manual transmission and internal combustion engins and sees his automatic car as a daily driver without any fun unlike his beloved old school manual transmission one that represent the man and the machine, i declare that if EVs gonna be obligatory some day i would quit driving 😂😂😂

Unfortunately they are facing a class action suit due to the overheating and reduced charging (or stopping altogether) of their standard home charging plug system. It has overheated at the plug reducing charging to half or stopping altogether. Kia came out with a software "fix" which apparantly just reduces charging to half. Hope it gets solved soon for such a cool EV.....

1st hyundai and Kia make horrible cars. 2 batteries are 20k to replace, lose power cpapcity over 5years, and are terribly toxic to produce and dispose of.

Fusion of both will become hydrogen burning engine.Real sound at green and manual will rise. If this hydrogen artitecture become efficient and hydrogen become safe then it is more greener than ev. It is expensive and difficult but but better and not impossible.

Bro the Ioniq 5 and the other N is so large and it's just a copy of the N Vision 74 to satisfy everyone. SUV'S ARE NOT THE BEST CARS. Society wants SUV'S and Hyundai was like: 'Nah let's not sell the 74 cuz we're budget and people won't afford it' WE WANT RETRO CARS. ICE ANYDAY ANYTIME! them keeping the Nvision 74 as their flagship "model" car with a H² fuel cell motor only proves that Hydrogen is the future. You can only keep using EVs till you run out of lithium but hydrogen is the most abundantly available element in the universe.
