@njctboy I've thought about it and I like the Hondas with pop up headlights. I wouldn't buy any other lawnmower. I work off of hydraulic scaffold. If it had any other motor on it I wouldn't feel as confident it would start every time. It's the only pressure washer I would rent. It's what I want to see on my cement mixer. Motorcycles with driveshafts are superior
Mazda mx5 vs s2000 was very close considering price to performance when the mx5 was 10k cheaper. Now it's the same price as s2000 was back then, but still not quite as good.
When I bought my first cool car (1986, a black CRX Si, no ac, stereo but I did spring for the rear louvers) it was only tempered by that very cool metallic blue Prelude Si next to it which was at least 50% more......ahh those pop up headlights
As a Chevy guy Honda is very far from underrated in the tuning world it’s just that people fail to accept that a Honda can potentially beat their 100k car 😂
Completely agree. The NSX has always been an ideal car, but hasn't ever been available for ideal money. I thought about swapping the drivetrain from a wrecked doner NSX into a CRX body. Turned out to be too much money for my budget, time, and energy. You can pull it off for under $10k. I just didn't have it at the time. Just expect to add counterweights to the front if you don't want snap oversteer for days. I had planned on relocating the fuel tank to somewhere around the former firewall. Not the best placement for a front-end collission I know. I was also planning on replacing the rear triangle windows with ram air vents and a side exit dual exhaust. It is a sick build for anyone who has done it, clean or not.

Think about this, today Honda brand and engines dominated the FORMULA 1 AND INDY CAR. Can Lamborghini, Porsche, Audi, Maserati, BMW, Aston Martin and the others can say that?
I think honda could take the same untapped market that is being neglected as before. The last remake was too much. Inflation is rampant. The cheaper they can make it the better it will do. The s2000 is a tough sell because its an expensive miata. Give people a cheaper c8, with a civic type R engine, with at least one model offered gutted with manual windows and cloth seats. Parts bin everything you can. At 60k it matches corvette "msrp" at 50k it disrupts supra sales, at 40k, its got people considering compromising their needs for their wants
A cheaper miata with 100hp more, a chassis as stiff as a close roof car, double wishbone suspension front and back, digital gauges, electric roof, a multiple award winning engine with the highest HP per liter in any production car for 10 hear only to be beaten by a Ferrari, aluminum hood, probably the beast gearbox-shifter ever made in any car according to many world famous car reviewers. The S2000 was never meant to compete with the miata, it was targetted at the Z3 and the Boxter and was faster than those two on a dry circuit!
Miata’s are cool, just that I don’t like what everybody likes, way overrated in my opinion and I think the S2000 is way cooler because of is 9000rpm redline factory sounds way cooler.

NSX is a classic even Gordon Murray one of the chief designers of the mclaren F1 praised the NSX and took it as an inspiration for the mclaren F1.
