    I guess it's either the lightness 3 or the GTO light for me. Looking forward to the full review. :)

      Actually the excellent backpack that comes with the LIGHTNESS 3 as standard, the Advance LIGHTPACK 3.

    Hello guys! Any chance you might review the new Apco Hybrid wing? Flybubble makes amazing feedback videos, thank you for this channel.
    Sorry for the off-topic question.

      Thanks Nicolae, no we won't be reviewing Apco wings, we use our own demo wings (we purchase) to do the testing and have enough work with all the brands we already deal with!

    The more they talk about usability of "glass" the more I know it's completly useless ;). And besides of that glassy thing, I think it's a really good looking harness.

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 5 лет назад

      it's an optional clip-on so you don't need it. some pilots will like it.

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo 5 лет назад

      having tested it--flying the Lightness 3 with and without the visor--i would say that the optional visor is certainly not useless. whilst not for everyone, i think that some visor sceptics will be surprised to find that they actually quite like it. i must admit, i am one of them! some however, will not change their minds. part 2 of our L3 review to follow...

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo 5 лет назад +1

      ps. the visor isn't made of glass. it's clear perspex, quite flexible and tough.

    Looking at the shoulder straps during the flight the harness seems a bit small. I have a progress 2 and find that one size over the recommendation fits better. Is this typical for advance?

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 5 лет назад

      it's a slender, lightweight harness Frans. We've found Advance harnesses best at accommodating a range of body shapes and sizes. Best to sit in one if you're not sure, but Advance haven't changed their sizing philosophy so if you're between sizes choose the larger one, based on your experience.

    Would you do reviews on a harness under $900 (U.S. Dollars).

    Hm, just a question. To feel your airspeed with the face? Airspeed mostly the same unless actively doing tricks, or active on the speedbar. I guess he means relative airspeed to ground and that you can’t feel with your face since you feel absolute airspeed. Am I missing something?

    • @greghamerton4422
      @greghamerton4422 5 лет назад

      airspeed changes as you pass into thermals, pass through turbulence and gusts. Your airspeed will on average be the same, but there is a lot of instant variation which you can feel on your face, although it's 8m below your wing, it helps build up a picture of what the air is doing. Try flying in Fohn conditions and you'll see your airspeed is not at all constant ;-)

    Is this the standard speedbag or the light one? It doesn't look quite as clean as this one for example: ruclips.net/video/UNc1lwa_M30/видео.html.

      crzmovie I would say, GTO light or Lightness 3?

      @@silviosnoia GTO is a no go for me. I really fancy the Delight tho.

    • @veers0r
      @veers0r 5 лет назад

      At least for me that boils down to seat board yes or no. I really liked the "in the harness" vs on the harness feeling of the hammock style but it also means that steering with the body takes a bit more effort. :)
