Uhhhhhh........ What is THAT? | Lets Play Halo 2 [Part 6]

Halo 1 was amazing, and left me wanting so much more! It's time to dive into Halo 2, and find out what happened to Master Chief & Cortana after the explosion of Halo. Are they still drifting in space somewhere, or did they find their way home? Are the Covenant still chasing them, or were they all wiped out? Where is the Flood, if we didn't stop it? I'm SO excited to find out.
Come along with me as I play through the WHOLE Halo series, and probably cry happy nostalgia tears along the way. I really hope you have an awesome time, and if you do, it would be amazing if you'd consider subscribing.

Something very cool about Quarantine Zone is on that long gondola ride with an easy jump you can get on top of it and just sit there for the entire ride and not have to deal with any of the enemies and you can just stare at them through the floor. It's a great break from the chaos and such a nice help on Legendary/LASO.

Also when the monitor of this Halo said one actual what he means is when the Halos fired the first time to kill the flood. Just one Halo isn’t enough to wipe the galaxy clean if you remember from the first one that 343 Guilty Spark mentions that “more of less but this installation has an effective range of 25,000 light years” or something along those lines and that when the others follow suite the galaxy will be devoid of life. Just an interesting tidbit bit connecting the two games

The 'Great Journey' is the belief that the Halo array are religious artifacts that, when activated, will be like a judgement day for all life, and those who are most devout in the Covenant would be given a higher seat in Heaven - ultimately the most devout and faithful will become a god.

Also yes what you are experiencing here is know as the covenant schism where the brute will cast down the elites and become the new guard for the prophets. A very important moment in this franchises history this whole level is truly a beauty aside from how difficult it is in the higher levels

The Gravemind is definitely one of the coolest things in the Halo series so far ( And both games are full of cool stuff ) .

I was doing a Lord of The Rings marathon with a friend, but we were pretty tired so we had to call it off, so now i get the chance to watch the 2 new episodes

Didn't learn your lesson with Halo and skipping combat encounters eh? You ran through so many sections, including the Mausoleum of the Arbiter (where arbiter got his armor). When Cortana said "you might consider sitting this one out" she meant to watch the two sides fight, then finish them off, then the door that was red would open.
