The orange truck in this video would be one of my top choices. Might even be able to squeeze the minor upgrades I did in this video in and still keep it near your budget. ruclips.net/video/13VwqlFirBc/видео.htmlsi=VrmZAv905B6I52ND I also have an updated “under $150” video coming out in a day or two that may be helpful.

@tunechi__5624 no actually it’s not the 16889a pro. This is the JJRC Q130. Just as durable, faster and more fun (especially with the wheels and shocks I put on it). I didn’t have this car when I made that first “under $150” video but it definitely would have been in it. Glad I can help man. Glad you like the vids! OG brushed 144001 is just so hard to beat. I replaced all 4 driveshafts and need to replace on shock tower (affects nothing but is just the tiniest bit bent)
You're one of my favorite RUclipsrs and you're a hell of a driver as well. I have found that I play with my small scale cars much more than my large scale cars partly because of the durability factor. My latest car to this lineup that you have is the Eachine Twister XB. I threw a Surpass Hobby 28mm motor in it ...3200 kv. No more 3s stuttering. Great lineup and video. Keep em coming. Oh by the way it looks like you're pretty skilled ramp builder as well those things have the perfect pitch
Thanks!! I really appreciate that and glad I stack up to all the great channels out there! I go for my 1:12 scales the most, but man I’m sure missing my Kraton lol. Time to get it back out soon. I also just ordered a new 1:10 car 😀😁😁. I actually have a video way way back showing how I built those ramps if you’re interested 👍 Here it is: ruclips.net/video/SnyqYnSc84o/видео.html

Having a hard time deciding on one to get back into the hobby would really like to stay at about 100 bucks. Durable aluminum knuckles oil shocks brushless what's my options?
So this is an updated version of this list: Absolute Best RC Cars Under $150 in 2024 ruclips.net/video/MW7TMcQsjpo/видео.html The blue car (I think it’s car #2 is probably your best bet), but it’s a short video and all the options are good and I believe the link I have for that car it’s not much over $100.
I can’t quite pinpoint it, but the hbx seems to have slightly better handling. Maybe it comes with thicker fluid(or any fluid in general) in the diffs. Also may be my imagination or the fact that the hbx body is slightly heavier. Either way the difference is minimal. I also prefer the looks of the hbx body, plus it has a roll cage that keeps the body in good shape longer. So ya probably better to go with that one. They even have a coupon on Amazon right now! amzn.to/3MohROy
It doesn’t fit a larger battery unfortunately. But I do have a mod video coming out in just a couple hours with several mods. One being a bigger battery tray. It is somewhat waterproof. I’ve run it in the snow before without issue but never had it submerged or anything. 😀
I’m pretty sure it’s 1:14. I believe i remember it being a bit larger than the 1:16s that I have, plus it’s right around the same size as that WL toys 144010
@@DerbyCityRC just going off of the link you put in the description it says it's 1:16 There is a 1:14 version if you look online elsewhere but the body looks completely different than the one you have 🤷♂
That’s true it does say that. Lol Well I have the 1:14 scale, 9000E I think it is, and it’s not as good, plus costs more. Single motor and I believe was 1-2 mph slower. I purposely chose this one over that, they are very close in size.
Great video! I am starting to get into the hobby more and it’s cool to see someone in my city making content. I just realized watching your video you’re actually in my neighborhood. Lol
What do you think is the most durable jumper/basher under $200 or so? I'm willing to do some upgrades if needed. 2995, 16889a PRO, or something else? I bought a 903a and like it but the body is pretty weak and my daughter wants one now, so I need to get something else :)
The 2995, Flyhal fc610, or t he Yoncher yc400. Those are all the same car. I have links to them all in the video description. I also really like the 16889a pro. Seriously those are the three strongest cheap cars. The 2995/Flyhal/Yoncher is by far my favorite with the upgrades I have in mine. A bit slow out of the box. Have you seen my 2995 or Flyhal upgrade videos?
@@DerbyCityRC Thanks, yeah I have watched them. I was planning on going with the 16889a Pro with the spacers and bigger tires since it looks fun and easy to just install the tires and spacers. I was initially put off by how much you broke the 2995, lol. But now with how much you like it, maybe I'll reconsider it or the Yoncher, they are both cheaper than the 16889a Pro on Amazon right now (before upgrades) but looks like the upgraded motor isn't available so not sure how it is with the stock motor but bigger tires. Would either platform be better in hotter weather? I'm in Phoenix so I would be trying to run them when it is hot out if possible.
The 2995 really doesn’t break too much. I know I’ve snapped a chassis bit that happens lol. The 16889 may have the upper hand on durability only cuz it weighs less. The best for heat would be the 2995/Yoncher with the Hobbywing 3300kv and a heat sink. I know they’re out of stock a lot lately
On the Deerc, what is the pitch of the pinion is it 32 or 48? I am wanting to do a motor and esc upgrade and the motor has a 5mm shaft and not the 3.17 that original motor has.
So this is the pinion I use for these. The pitch is a 0.6 MOD. And it will for the 5mm shaft, plus comes with a sleeve if you happen to ever put it on a 3.175 mm shaft.amzn.to/3YlloCi
@Derby City RC it's awesome. I got a wobbly wheel in the pack but the car runs straight and the stance is badass. Thanks for the suggestions! I had to drill the center of the tire a little to use the extensions. Things a beast now, fast and crazy!
I'm new to the RC world.. like I just started thinking about buying one yesterday new new lol.... watching some of your videos... I was wondering where does the HOSIM rank among these? I was thinking that would be my first purchase after watching your video on that one. Thanks, Robb
Awesome and welcome! The Hosim. Well it’s a bit pricier. Performance is pretty good, and durability seems good, but I don’t think it will be as durable as the hbx 2995 or the Flyhal fc610. I mention these cars in this video. They’re slow out of the box but unbeatable durability. I upgraded them both and they’re awesome. That’s my best recommendation is one of those cars and then upgrade it once it gets boring. I have reviews on them both on how they are straight from the box.
@@DerbyCityRC awesome man, thanks for getting back to me... I'm going to watch this video again to check those out..... I might grab one of those based off your recommendations instead. Thanks again.
@@DerbyCityRC Thank you sir. I'm taking your recommendations and my first is going to be the Flyhal FC610.... Just one more question, is there a certain site you recommend on buying RC's and RC parts? Thanks again, Robb
I almost always use Amazon or Banggood. Or directly from the manufacturer if not available on those websites. Be sure to check my links i put in the video descriptions. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the car, especially once you upgrade it all!! 😃
Witch wheels and tires will fit on the hyper go and will i need spacers? Just ordered one and it's not here yet but wanted to have them when it got here. ..also, any idea on where to find individual or paired 3s batteries? Having trouble finding them. Thanks for all the info, keep up the good work, bro!
I personally like these wheels in my 1/16 scale HBX and I think they’ll work great on the HyperGo. I’ll be trying them really soon. amzn.to/3GbKsEO Yes, here are the wheel spacers that should work. I go with the 15mm: amzn.to/3VZmDFG And here are 3s batteries. May also need some Velcro straps to help mount them. amzn.to/3Wjvwdr
So I have bought the HBX 2995 and the Yoncher YC400 to compare. I am happy to send you a number of pics comparing the two. While they are basically the same, there are some key differences. Are you interested in seeing them? If so, how do I get them to you?
Sent you an email. I went back and watched your Flyhal video and it is virtually identical to the Yoncher (more so than like the 2995). So, with this in mind, would you rather have the 2995 (includes the extra wheel on back and a second spare) for $103 or the Flyhal (includes a lipo battery bag) for $86, with each as is?
A bit late on here, but I am really enjoying flogging the guts out of my brushless JJRC Q130. Coming in at under US$100, I thought it may have made the list too?
Yes! I LOVE my q130. Just ran it today with some minor upgrades. It would have made this list but I didn’t have my q130 when I made this video. It is on my favorite Banggood cars video I made more recently.
Ok so I am late to the party on this one. Getting a couple of small bashers for the back yard. Yes I am a Traxxas fanboy so I had the Teton on my list. But after seeing these little beasties, I wonder if that’s the right choice. Seems like they would be more durable under a 2s load than stock Teton. And cost effective considering I’d get the HW brushless combo on top of the price of the truck. Hmmm these budget RC’s seem to be a better route? Hood you s
I love these little bashers! This video is slightly outdated so you could watch a few of my latest vids, but I’m also working on a video showcasing my 10 favorite cars from Banggood. I don’t own any traxxas yet so can’t speak on that but I do love my Arrmas also!
Hey bud just discovered your channel and I really dig it. looking to order a hyper go could you give me your best recommendation on some bigger tires and wheels and a good suggestion for a replacement toS battery that isn’t too insanely powerful I actually want to keep the speed down a little bit, thanks dude!
Thanks man! Glad you like it. Have you seen my newest HyperGo video? ruclips.net/video/-BakkjTcrnY/видео.html I mention some tires I’m gonna try on it. Here is the link to those tires and wheel spacers. I’ll be trying it soon and making a video on it 👍 amzn.to/3GbKsEO amzn.to/3VZmDFG I always go with the 15mm spacers
Thanks 1 million, do you have any suggestions of the best place to sell some old are used RC cars for a fair price I have a team associated RC 10 T4 and a rival 1/8 scale monster truck both with tons of extra parts
You’re welcome! No specific place that I know of. I’ve seen them on Facebook marketplace before, but not sure how quickly they sell. I’ve been considering the MT8. Money is a bit tight right now, but what would you want for that one?
I am just getting into RC and am glad I found your channel! I bought the 16889a Pro on your recommendation and am loving it! Do I need anything other than the tire spacers to get the tires to fit that you are running on yours? Also, do you have to do any other mods to convert it to 3S or just find a 3S battery with a plug so that it fits? Based on my research it seems like maybe an optional heat sink, but would be curious to hear your take. Thank you!
I’m glad you found our channel too! Nope, the tires and the hex extenders is it. You may have to drill the whole arbors slightly to make the extended wheel nuts fit. I can’t remember. Some you do, some you don’t. I don’t have good luck with 3s on that car. It cuts out on me at times, but it’s plenty fast on 2s for me! I still run a heat sink on mine, and this should be the one right here: amzn.to/3Q8tCtC
Try finding the same part number on the HBX 2105a. It’s the same chassis. Then go to Haiboxing-hobby.com and send them an email asking if they can send you that part.
@@DerbyCityRC the 903A and 903 are the same chassis but the A is brushless. I don't have the 901 so I'm unsure. Both of the 903's are on my channel. I just reviewed the 903A recently.
The 901a is the same chassis as the 903, but has the metal drivetrain, which I believe the 903a has as well. So probably the same but may hVe a different motor. I’ll check out your videos ! 👍👍
Hobbypark 1/10th scale off road buggy tires. Absolute best tires for hbx16889. You can get the knobby ones or you can get the street tires either one are $13 and they are amazing. The rubber is supple and durable and so are the rims
Thanks for all the info! The hyper go has been an utter blast, seems like the tires can improve some of the drawbacks - I presume the set of tires & spacers you've linked are the ones to get? The spacers you've linked are the 15mm ones, is that right or should we get 12mm? I'm going to order based on your reply (: Last q - do we need to do something else? E.g. Pinion or something, due to the larger wheel circumference & added torque required? Thanks a lot for the great content 👍👍
You’re welcome and glad you’ve found it helpful! Yes those tires and the wheel spacers I linked. I do go with the 15mm. They are still 12mm hex, but they push each wheel out 15mm. I haven’t put them on the HyperGo yet, but I will be soon. They should really make it crazy. I never changed anything else on my hbx and haven’t had an issue except for axles bending. That shouldn’t happen on the HyperGo. Those things are thick! If there’s a weak link, we’ll find it eventually 🤣 Also, use a bit of loctite on the wheel extension nuts when you install the spacers 👍
Would love to see you do another video on the Devastator. I have one too with the same tyres, which I nodded for more ground clearance. Great little crawler!
You cant say enough about the HBX 2995 platform. Its just an all around durable and fun chassiss that is superior to anything else out there on Amazon. Although there has been hype about the MJX HyperGo Brushless and the overall quality, still the HBX 2995 is dollar for dollar the best budget RC out there. And its under $90(Yoncher YC400) on Amazon atm. Slap on a HW Max10 or even a cheaper combo and you have yourself the ultimate basher. The HyperGo Brushless does live up to its name but the size is just not there.
I agree with every word! The 2995 is probably my 3rd favorite RC atm. Right behind the Kraton and the rival mt10. The HyperGo is great, but like you said, it’s just too small to enjoy as much as the 1/12 and bigger.
@@DerbyCityRC After watching your video on the upgraded 2995 with the beefy wheels/red shocks it inspired me to build one myself and its still within budget. As far as the other 2 more expensive ones you mentioned, I havent even attempted to look at, knowing that the price tag is probably 4-5x more than HBX 2995. Anyways, keep on keeping on with the awesome reviews.👍🏻
I recently purchased the Eachine Twister XB brushless buggy. It's modeled on the hbx16889. With a slightly longer wheelbase. Same motor as the 16889 pro. And oil shocks stock.
I love the video. Always love your videos!! Loads of good information and fun stuff. But!! Where was the star of the show?? I mean you're personable and all but where was Max??
Thanks! Glad you like them! 😀 Ya Max is in kindergarten now and with the other 3 kids being so young, it’s tough to record anything when he’s home and awake. Trying to get him on more for sure!! He’s a beast!!
Great cars, I had most of them. Hbx pro and MJX brushless are so durable it is unbelievable. Better than the premium cars. Low speed like 17 mph though is for kids. the adults would prefer the 25 mph brushless cars (or big brushed motors which too are fast). keep up the good work. I really like the original MJX brushless, I have it now and it is crazy powerful on 3S and still durable. So much so that you can rarely squeeze that throttle. Enjoy the hobby, it is obvious you are in the right hobby and thanks for all the knowledge sharing.
Thanks! Ya the fc610 needs the upgrades for sure, but still a great truck! Yes the mjx was awesome. I’ve got a somewhat budgety Arrma on the way I’m excited about! Thanks man, I think so too. It’s a ton of fun for almost anyone!
Hope you are all settled up in the new place, looking forward to more content. P. S. Can't find the tyres for 16889 on any other place than U. S. Amazon, and its 65$ just for shipping lol
That stinks. The brand is RC Station, but never seen them anywhere else. They’re about 4 inches tall and 2 inches wide. Maybe you can find some others that are similarly sized. Then don’t forget spacers!
Interesting and entertaining video as always from your channel. I'm glad you included the new Hyper-go brushless 1/16 truck. I'm thinking of getting the black and blue "buggy" version, which is sold under the Hosim name and a few other brands. Seems like this chassis is getting just like the Holyton 9205e/Deerc 9206e style. As you well know yourself, the Deerc 9200 style chassis is a 10++ with durability and parts availability. I just hope the Hyper-go brushless chassis has the same qualities that made the Deerc chassis so popular. I have a Holyton 9205e with an Injora motor and RC station wheels (in fact they're the same ones you used on one of your cars). It's a fun car off road and goes through long grass with no problem, thanks to the bigger tires. I want a fast on road car since all my RC cars are off road design. Time for something different!! Keep up the cool videos!!!
MJX Hyper Go is a little powder keg that just so happens to also be bomb proof! ...I know that might not make sense, but it's the best way I can think of how to describe it. Powder keg of power and bomb proof durability. Just wish it was bigger.
Really a great video again, buddy!I like how you manage to make them so non-boring each time, ha ha, it's good style! I still haven't managed with that damned Flyhal, Banggood just upped the price again and they don't have it at the European warehouse any longer, maybe I wait a bit longer, ha ha!
Glad you like the vids!!😃 Ya they jacked that price up real quick. Couldn’t believe it! Just keep checking for sales and I’ll try to post coupon codes when they’re available 👍👍
Great list Evan! I can agree with all of these as I have a version of each of these. My favorite of your list would’ve the Rlaarlo and the MjX. Absolutely great choices. Really excellent job buddy! I hope you and your family have a truly blessed and amazing Christmas as well as a prosperous New Year! You’ve really had a lot going on this year and managed to put out amazing content!✌🏻🙌🏽😃🍻
Thanks, Robby, for all those kind words! Both good top picks you’ve got! I hope you have an amazing remainder of the holiday season as well! 🎄 Thanks!!
Thanks for all your work on this! It's been almost 20 years since I was into RC and going with the budget over hobby build seems much more enjoyable these days!
You’re welcome and thanks for watching! Yes the budget part of the hobby is really killin it right now. Both sides are awesome but these are money savers!!
IMO, most vehicles coming from these knock-off brands that are advertised as brushless '3S' or '3S-capable' werent made to handle the power (and the crashes) that inevitablly comes with that power. No RC is indestructible, but cars in the above category seem to be particularly susceptible to breakage.
Many of them that advertise 3s definitely aren’t actually designed to take it, but as far as durability, some of these are plenty good. Especially for the price. I test them out pretty hard.
@DerbyCityRC I recently bought a HBX 16889 and Ive been pretty impressed so far. I run larger scale (I have an XMAXX and a 1/5 Outkast). Repairs can get pretty pricey and you cant really run them in my small yard. I'll keep an eye on your channel. Thank!
Okay so i’m new to the channel and I’m absolutely loving your videos!! I’ve had RC‘s in the past, loved them when I was young, and had a couple as an adult. I haven’t had any in years. My son just turned eight and I wanted to get him a nice beginner car so I did a bunch of research, discovered a bunch of awesome new cars and ended up getting him the HBX 16889. I fell in love with that car… I am so impressed, I am beyond impressed.. and now I need to get one for myself! My question is (and I think I know the answer) do you recommend the HBX 16889a pro or the HBX 2995 with the upgrades? I love your 16889a pro with the huge tires and I love that everything is done. I don’t have to spend more money on a bunch of parts. However the 2995 you built seems absolutely INSANE! I also like the 1/12 size. I saw in this video there’s another car with a different body that’s the same. I’m going to go watch that cheaper upgrade video now. Thanks!!
Thanks man!! Yes I prefer the 2995 because it IS insane lol. And almost as durable as the 16889. Obviously just have to spend a bit more on the upgrades but the budget one you watched with the green body is still a good option. If you can swing it, I would definitely recommend the higher budget version though 👍👍👍
My experience differs from yours and I have done a backflip or two. Everyone’s experience is different but it’s most definitely regarded as one of the most durable budget bashers.
That’s so weird. I’ve been jumping mine like crazy for almost 2 years and I believe only broken a body mount post once. They all have a weakness though

@@DerbyCityRC Absolutely. Ive got all the guys at my shop ( were mechanics for a VW dealer) buying these little 1/16 scale cars now. They are such a blast to bash into each other on our down time. @gregmaggert8561 Cool, thanks bro! I actually used to be an auto tech for about 10 years. Got out of it around 6 years ago. I worked on mostly Japanese imports but did a good chunk of European too. Cool that all you guys have some RCs and good places to run them!!
@@DerbyCityRC Glad you got out. The auto tech industry sucks for the amount of knowledge and work you have to put in. Not to mention the amount of money forked out for tools. I've go to my master technician class in May and then I'm complete if I pass it. It'll be time to move on to something else at that point I think. Would love to do what you do. Just have no editing skills lol
Mine does lol. That’s the actual 16889a pro. It comes with stickers and one of them is a ravage sticker, and that’s where I put it. It doesn’t show it in the listings though.

I’m pretty sure it does. I think that’s the one battery version and there’s usually a two battery version available as well.
How does the FC16 clone compare to the original? Would you recommend spending the extra cash on the real deal, or maybe upgrading the clone?
I can’t quite pinpoint it, but the hbx seems to have slightly better handling. Maybe it comes with thicker fluid(or any fluid in general) in the diffs. Also may be my imagination or the fact that the hbx body is slightly heavier. Either way the difference is minimal. I also prefer the looks of the hbx body, plus it has a roll cage that keeps the body in good shape longer. So ya probably better to go with that one. They even have a coupon on Amazon right now! amzn.to/3MohROy
Hello, just two questions to HBX 16889a PRO:
1. does it fit th Li-ion 7,4V 1200 MAH inside?
2. is it kind of waterproof?
Thanks a lot for answear!
It doesn’t fit a larger battery unfortunately. But I do have a mod video coming out in just a couple hours with several mods. One being a bigger battery tray. It is somewhat waterproof. I’ve run it in the snow before without issue but never had it submerged or anything.
😀
Does the first car come with a battery and charger?
Yes it does. Check my links. You can get either two or three batteries in the set I believe
Where do you put the Arrma gorgon in this mix? Thanks!
Haven’t had one but from the looks of it probably pretty decently lol
I’ll be doing an updated version of this list soon.
the deerc 9500e is actually 1:16 scale, isnt it?
I’m pretty sure it’s 1:14. I believe i remember it being a bit larger than the 1:16s that I have, plus it’s right around the same size as that WL toys 144010
@@DerbyCityRC just going off of the link you put in the description it says it's 1:16 There is a 1:14 version if you look online elsewhere but the body looks completely different than the one you have 🤷♂
That’s true it does say that. Lol
Well I have the 1:14 scale, 9000E I think it is, and it’s not as good, plus costs more. Single motor and I believe was 1-2 mph slower. I purposely chose this one over that, they are very close in size.
Hbx is a great truck I put sand paddle tires on mine and run it on 3s upgraded the wheel base with 23mm spacers and oil shocks beast truck
Yes it is!!!
can`t find these bigger tires you have on the HBX 16889a PRO... do i find em on banggood?
These right here: amzn.to/3ZEufQx
Great video! I am starting to get into the hobby more and it’s cool to see someone in my city making content. I just realized watching your video you’re actually in my neighborhood. Lol
Hah, dude that’s awesome!
Send me an email @ derbycityrc@yahoo.com
11:41, that is a basher of a RC, I have that one and love it.
It’s a great one!!
Can the hbx 16889a pro handle 3s with out having any problems in the future with the esc and motor
Hard to say. I’ve heard other people had no issues, but mine cuts out under hard throttle with 3s. Probably does put a strain on the electronics.
Thanks
@DerbyCityRC. Is that with the original pinion or did you upgrade it also
You mean spur? I’ve kept the spur the same. Had no issues with them at all on those cars.
@@DerbyCityRC Thanks
Which length wheel spacers needed for the 1/10 scale wheels? Tx
I use the 15 mm 👍
@@DerbyCityRC I bought the 25mm. Any issues predicted with the 25s?
Not necessarily. It may put more strain on bearings and axles, but I’d love to know how it goes! I like wide stance!
@Derby City RC it's awesome. I got a wobbly wheel in the pack but the car runs straight and the stance is badass. Thanks for the suggestions! I had to drill the center of the tire a little to use the extensions. Things a beast now, fast and crazy!
Yes some tires need to be drilled and some don’t. Awesome glad you like it!!! 💪💪👍
You’re welcome! I linked all the cars in the description for easy finding 👍👍
I’ll be trying them really soon.
amzn.to/3GbKsEO
Yes, here are the wheel spacers that should work. I go with the 15mm: amzn.to/3VZmDFG
And here are 3s batteries. May also need some Velcro straps to help mount them.
amzn.to/3Wjvwdr
Thanks!! 👍🤘🤘
Awesome, I appreciate it!
You bet!
what do you think of xinlehong 9125?
Can’t say, unfortunately. I don’t have one
@@DerbyCityRC ol thanks anyway
No problem!
Love the energy and vibes this guy got
Thanks bro!!!😎
So I have bought the HBX 2995 and the Yoncher YC400 to compare. I am happy to send you a number of pics comparing the two. While they are basically the same, there are some key differences. Are you interested in seeing them? If so, how do I get them to you?
Yes! I’m definitely interested. Derbycityrc@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

I mention some tires I’m gonna try on it.
Here is the link to those tires and wheel spacers. I’ll be trying it soon and making a video on it 👍
amzn.to/3GbKsEO
amzn.to/3VZmDFG
I always go with the 15mm spacers
Oh and the battery it comes with is pretty good. The one that came with mine was just a 2s so speed wasn’t super crazy
Banggood specials are usually pretty fun!
Yes they are!!
@@DerbyCityRC You're amazing. Thank you for all the help!
You’re very welcome!!
I might have to get that hbx to add some much needed power to those wally world new bright rzr specials that I have modded to fit some figures.

All of these are less than $150 American dollars. Not sure how that compares to Italian currency 👍

They should all be linked in the description.
Some great choices there Evan, all good RC trucks in that price range 👍
Thanks Dave!! Can’t really go wrong with any of them!
Think your reviews r great keep up the good work and really like the honesty of your reviews razor RC is a very good and informative also
Thanks 😊
Deerc9500e and flyhal fc600 probably best value here and most durable rcs out of your review
Tenho um eachine desses, esta parado pois não vendem todas as peças de reposição, o pião do eixo de transmissão acabou e não tem para comprar 🥵
Try finding the same part number on the HBX 2105a. It’s the same chassis.
Then go to Haiboxing-hobby.com and send them an email asking if they can send you that part.
Where should i buy from please lmk
There's a lot of good choices in this price range nowadays. The HBX 903a is a great choice. Also, the 16890a that I just reviewed.
I agree! Both of those are on my wish list! Is the 903a much different than the 901a?
Nice, I’ll have to look at those!!
Thanks for all the info! The hyper go has been an utter blast, seems like the tires can improve some of the drawbacks - I presume the set of tires & spacers you've linked are the ones to get?
The spacers you've linked are the 15mm ones, is that right or should we get 12mm? I'm going to order based on your reply (:
Last q - do we need to do something else?
If there’s a weak link, we’ll find it eventually 🤣
Also, use a bit of loctite on the wheel extension nuts when you install the spacers 👍
Great vid Evan, awesome amount of views here! Well deserved. Great job
Thanks Phil!!!
Really appreciate that.
This video definitely seems to be popular lol
Great video and info! Lol that axle was just slightly bent!
Thanks!
Haha yes just a bit!
Would love to see you do another video on the Devastator. I have one too with the same tyres, which I nodded for more ground clearance. Great little crawler!
I will soon! I’m also gonna work on an outdoor crawler course. I also may do the ground clearance mod, just haven’t yet lol
Thank you for the clickable links 😁😁😁
Haha!
You bet!
It’s a great build for sure!
Glad you liked my set up!

Which car? They’re all linked in the description.
I recently purchased the Eachine Twister XB brushless buggy. It's modeled on the hbx16889. With a slightly longer wheelbase. Same motor as the 16889 pro. And oil shocks stock.

Thanks man!!
My next video is an on road car!! 👍👍
MJX Hyper Go is a little powder keg that just so happens to also be bomb proof! ...I know that might not make sense, but it's the best way I can think of how to describe it. Powder keg of power and bomb proof durability. Just wish it was bigger.
Yes it’s amazing!
Hopefully we’ll at least get a 1:12 from them soon!!
Sure would be cool!
Have you tested the 903a? Seems like a pretty good car!
I haven’t, but seems very similar to the the 901a, which is basically a brushless 903. Same as the 903a lol
Very cool List! I agree with all of overviews of them!! All great RCs and would be hard to choose the best? 16889A PRO ehhhmmm 16889A pro..... 😉

These tiny RCs are cute but, I prefer 1/10 scale and bigger. My current favourite basher is the Team Associated Rival MT10.
My favorite basher is my MT10 as well. It’s phenomenal!
Arrma Granite 2 or 4WD model
Thank!
That’s a great start for sure! Plenty of decent cheapies out there and when I get a good one I usually upgrade it lol. Nice to have you around’
No MJX's?!? Oh there's one, in the link best under 150 2024 :)
Yup the 16208 was in here. That first wave of 1/16 scale MJXs were the only mjx cars released when I made this video 😃
16889 is not durable it easily breaks the body mount posts on ramps when doing back flips. That's its weakness small fraile body mount posts.
My experience differs from yours and I have done a backflip or two. Everyone’s experience is different but it’s most definitely regarded as one of the most durable budget bashers.
I've broke the body mount post first day out on a ramp doing back flips . Since then they broke again. That's the 16889s weakness
That’s so weird. I’ve been jumping mine like crazy for almost 2 years and I believe only broken a body mount post once.
They all have a weakness though
It's the truth they break easily suppose it's because they are so thin
MJX is actually only half price of $150 (i bought it from other country for less than $60)
That’s quite a deal!!
fun informative content, but still priced out of my brudget.
Thanks! There’s still cheaper out there!
Man jou have good nice and fast cars but there is one you never calls in your videos and this one is cheap fast and strong the himoto monster truck Baja beetle scale 1/10 you have him for 150 euro with everything complete

Yoo how is going on bro!
Hey man! Good!
16889A pro does not say Ravage on the side. … The 16889a does ….
Mine does lol. That’s the actual 16889a pro. It comes with stickers and one of them is a ravage sticker, and that’s where I put it. It doesn’t show it in the listings though.
Or maybe it was a leftover sticker I had from my basic 16889a, which I also have. I can’t remember
Hello!(^^♪
Thanks for the fun RC video
You’re welcome!
