      This music was made with Impulse Tracker. You're looking at the "source code" to the music. Each column is a sound channel dedicated to a specific sound sample, and each row is a "quarter note". Each cell contains either the pitch for playing the sample or some effects to modulate it. It's how people made music to share online back when bandwidth and storage were obstacles.

      @@thebarbecube317 Yes you can learn a lot about how to make music this way. If you load up the track in the editor you can sometimes find patterns that the composer decided not to put into the final track, too, which is always fun.
