I have bought 3 lights as per your video a 50W softbox keylight A LED pannel for hair light with warmth and brightness control and finally a RGB tube light which can controlled via wifi, lets see how will it look in my small room. Your content really helped me in getting everything just under my budget ( with my first income from youtube) without spending huge amount of money on expensive systems.
This is an awesome adjustment with just 3 lights! Thanks for sharing. This has helped me so much with my lighting. I still have some adjustments for the background lighting, but I now have a clear image that does not look so orange! LOL. Did I hear you are in Atlanta? Me too!
I just used this video to rearrange our filming set up.... Never thought to USE the corner, I was under the impression I should stay away from the corner shot... I have SO much more space now to shoot, and you can actually see my background props. THANK YOU!
This is the perfect video! Living in a small apartment, lighting has always been an issue that I encounter! You’re so close to 100k Ben! I can’t wait for you to reach that milestone!
Hey Ben! Can you plz cover the topic that how you can setup an outdoor shoot. Which extra accessories you will recommend and what type of mic you will suggest?
This video cleared up a lot of confusion I had in troubleshooting my own shots! It has me rethinking my entire shot layout and composition, and I already own all the gear needed to do it. Thank you!
Thanks a lot! Everytime I record a new video I try something new for the setup and honestly looking back at my "regular" room videos it's a whoooooole different story. Thanks a lot for making these videos, they really help a lot!
Nice! Wonderful difference that you could make. I never considered your point about space behind you in a shot before, thanks for that. Also the maximazing of the in-camera space by using the diagonal of your room is a really smart one. Peace!
In the process of upgrading my set up, watched the video and ordered the lights you suggested. really excited to see how it all comes together, thank you so much for this advice it was super clear and straightforward
always learning from this man. fantastic video as always. love ur previous lighting video and love this too. the fact that you just used a mountdog lighting and a hair light goes to show how simple it is to just improve your shots. love being creative. ben taught me how. thanks ben. stay safe and stay creative
I have been searching a way to set up my basement lighting to shoot my dance videos, I have searched my many videos which were talking about videos shot at desks, finally I came across your channel and they were quite informative. The lighting of a room can totally change the dynamic of a video and create the *illusion* that a space is a lot bigger than it actually is.
So true! Lighting is an illusion a lot of times. I like that!
Dude. Thank you so much I can't wait for my next recording day to try this!
