When I eat my oatmeal with banana and that is it. It actually fills me up. Now this morning I made me 2 eggs with my oatmeal and it really filled me up more and I lasted a lot of hours without feeling hungry.
I'm no dietitian, but I'll tell you that when you eat oatmeal and banana it is a lot of carbs. Bananas are also high in sugar. I would caution you to be aware of future blood sugar dips within the following 1-2 hours. But fun idea which I've done countless times: -Use your oatmeal (Trader Joe's has a good "gluten free" one with chia and flax added. (USE THE OATMEAL AS IF IT WERE RICE) -Then in a pan with a heart healthy, cold pressed oil, cook some greens of your choice and 2 eggs. Place on top of the oatmeal -Top with 1/4 or 1/2 an avocado -Top with tomato *Cilantro optional -(if not already in oatmeal) Tablespoon of chia and hemp seeds -Sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning OR just a little Celtic salt 😊
The ROLLED oats would be the slower releasing carb, eggs, chia, and hemp would play as your protein (which slows down the carb breakdown in the body, which you want for blood sugar stabilization), avocado is the healthy fat that will allow your body to really absorb the nutrients as well as slow down the breakdown of carbs.
Also cacao nibs are extremely high in caffeine!! As compared to chocolate chips for example, the nibs are more concentrated. As you stated in your other video, girls with pcos want to avoid caffeine
I'm in love with your channel. I was diagnosed last year in June 2020 officially but have been suffering from symptoms since around 2018. I've really struggled to lose weight and I'm trying once again. My dietician recommended using Collagen peptides for added protein. Is that an ok alternative to protein powder in these recipes? Oatmeal is not a gluten free it does contain gluten I was eating it all the time but has stop I replaced it with buckwheat flakes,the name is buckwheat but it doesn't contain any gluten in,everyone thinking that Oatmeal is gluten free but it is not,10 years experience struggling with this Pcos I have managed it by choosing right food that actually works..thank you love from Malaysia ❤
Flaxseed is extremely estrogenic, I personally don't feel comfortable consuming it when my hormones are already imbalanced. It just as high in estrogens as soy
Have fruits or a fruit smoothie and the craving will go away. You can boil gluten free oats or millet with some blue berries, cinnamon and honey then add some more blue berries on top. It's a great breakfast. Have celery juice (strain it) right after waking up on an empty stomach and eat breakfast 20-30 min later. Do this for a month and your cravings will go away. Sugar in fruits isn't the same as the bad sugars. I don't understand why people fear fruits. It's what our body needs. Also try not to eat chocolate, caffeine, fat, protein or oil in the morning. It will make a huge difference.
@@sash8099 there aren't special nutrients in fruit that vegetables don't have. vegetables have way more nutrients than fruit and most fruit is packed with unnecessary sugar. I can get all the nutrients I need from meat and vegetables. I eat an animal-based diet I did a micronutrient test and actually, my levels are really good I am only low in sulfur and sodium. and you get sulfur from cruciferous vegetables. and I have sulfur sensitivity so I can't just eat a crazy amount. I am working with a doctor to improve that. and I just drink heavily seasoned broth for sodium." more fruits and vegetables" are not the answer to everyone's problem. and definitely not mine.

I’m from Sweden and the breakfast that I’m used to eat are; - oat meal with raspberry’s and unsweetened almond milk - neutral yoghurt, Greek yoghurt or cottage cheese with berry’s and some oat or muesli - special k cereal with milk - dark fiber rich bread with chicken and veggies . And a glass of of water How can I use the information in the video to adjust the breakfast above ? The oat meal I get but I don’t think we have almond butter in my country. What can I add instead? What to eat when you have pre diabetes with pcos and hoshimotos/hypothyrodism I eat balanced meals all the time but sometimes even after a meal my sugar drops or it’s not very high around 76 after a big dinner with carbs fat protein and fiber. I do take metformin but I won’t loose weight without it. I’m stuck 💔 I’ve been gluten and dairy free for years.

I recommend a blood glucose monitor. thats the only way you can really know if you blood sugar is spiking. or if you don't want to do that just pay attention to your energy levels and cravings. if you get crazy hungry 2 hours after eating a bowl of rice maybe next time eat half the amount. but the best way to really truly know is a blood glucose monitor.

You can buy gluten free oats
Get regular oats. They’re gluten free.
They don't have gluten but do have another protein that acts the same that some people react to the same as gluten
