I say on behalf of every Ghost Fret loving being across the cosmos...it is a great criminal injustice to not bestow us with this in the future almighty Mr. Chapman!
Baritone GhostFret = YES BLOODY PLEASE!!!
Loving these Chapman history / prototype run down videos!
Hello mate! That video seems like a lifetime ago and also yesterday. FTIW i think the guitars you are making now are better than back then but I did get a bit nostalgic when seeing that Ghost Fret! Much Love!
Every metal guitarist I know loves explorers and hates the way they're spec'd. Break the cycle. Give us a 24 fret explorer with a normal scale length and a hipshot bridge. Honestly as much as I dig the baritone, I think most explorer guys would be more stoked on a 25.5 for playing in C.
PS love the color.
oh my god i wish Rob lived next door, so many toys!
Holy crap that needs to become a production model.
Really well edited. Laughed a lot during this
Loving the new content format.
man I'm obsessed with the ghost fret, have three of them and always looking
I thought it looked long. 27" baritone ghost fret is dope.
Bring that back! Super cool.
Always loved the older blue flame ghost frets and Rabs old sig so it's nice to see those again, if I ever have the chance to get one second hand I know I will
the colours on the body are brilliant! looks good! :)
Wait. A BARITONE Ghost Fret? Where has this been?
This is what we have been requesting FOR YEARS!
Man oh man I remember when you and the guitars came through Seattle a buncha years ago. Got to play a ghost fret that night and it was ASTOUNDING. Still hoping to acquire one someday. Played so beautifully.
Dude, the color on that Ghost Fret is beautiful!
Yo! The red and black 'stripie' as you called it...was actually called ghost fret bad blood and I am a proud owner of one of it. Swamp ash, neck through and It did have primordial humbuckers but with 22 frets. I got it from Thomann.... I have since gone headless 7 multi, but that axe still looks great on my guitar wall.
👽🤘
I would SO buy a Baritone Ghost Fret. That is so cool.
Last ghostfret i bought was that guitar center exclusive! Im so happy you moved the strap buttons!!!
I say the same thing every ghost fret video/post. Bring back the 7 string ghostfrets!
Please!
I miss the good old Mondays watching Andertons with rob and Lee when still living in The Netherlands. 6 years ago with some coffee. Good times. Miss those days, miss you mom
We still make videos together, three went up this month, there are lots more and I’m back there in June to film another series
@@RobChappers oh iknow, i just got nostalgic haha.
can't read the word "coffee" without hearing the glass shattering sound effect everytime they keep the mug anywhere lol, good times
Please put that one into production! Would love to have one in that color with the open grain finish
Still wanna see that prototype you talked about before about a half fretless ghost fret. That would make a wild video if you still have one/if it even was actually ever made.
You definitely should produce more of it, prolly plus a tremolo machine
oh, now this is a cool little series!
Amazing Color 💚🖤I love it 🤘🏻😎
What's up Rob! I love this guitar!
I like it. The headstock is perfect for it.
the ghost fret is the best guitar since the 59 les paul
Elf door picks?
Come on man.
It's a pixie door.
Pixie door picks.
It was right there 😂
Awesome prototype! Definitely need to play more chapmans
Rob you are hilarious! I think this may be one of your finest moments on video. You actually are human. I was beginning to wonder.
My favorite Ghost Fret, visually, was the blue from that first run.
Green head stock for the win
GhostFret and a baritone!? now that's a sexy combo U don't see everyday!!!
More baritones!!! World needs more baritones!
Green Ghostfret for the win, but a matching green head stock would have looked awesome!
I agree!
Seriously sick colour. I think a Ghost Fret will have to be my next guitar.
Definitely make the green dip a thing. I have a list of guitars I want acquire in the next couple years and a baritone is on that list - specifically a Chapman baritone.
Loved that one when you first un-boxed it... would love to see a production version... And if all else fails, you've got Steggo's address 😂
Still loving my ML2 I bought during your US road tour. Your signature has slightly worn off though
I need that thing!
I actually remember another now somewhat forgotten ghostfret in green from some 13 years ago! though its no where near the ghostfret you guys make now found in your "Chapman Ghost Fret Demo" on this channel actually
Beautiful top 😮😮
I always wanted to buy one of the white carved top Strat style guitars y’all used to make. Unfortunately I didn’t a have the extra $ at the time. But I’m always on the lookout for one
Andy RULES!!! 😊
Love to hear about the process of design! Mr Chapman, could I ask if you've ever played a Chapman stick? Saw two talented people playing them yesterday and it occurs that you should try your namesake's invention!
I need more Ghost Frets, clearly 2 is not enough
5:56 ouch!! 😖
Oh my god, I love this. Sure we cannot get 5his? 😍 Seriously.
I’d buy it
Generally, not a huge fan of pointy guitars. But I have to say. Those are beautiful. Love the Baritone. That's a sexy beast.
You were not kidding about Johnny Hiland! Wow! He's absolutely amazing.
These videos of nostalgia are GREAT, Mr Chapman would you consider raffling off a prototype for a charity you deem worthy? Just a suggestion
I wish that more guitars had fatter necks! I'm fed up with these weedy necks! And we need more green, and purple guitars!
Ghost Fret Baritone….Pretty pretty please lol.
Build it Chappers!!
Yer baritone ghost fret 🍺 (black dippped white or blue, green is ok)
I thought this was going to be the half fret / half no fret prototype!
that's one cool git-fiddle!
Like and subscribe for legs
Well, Ive mentioned numerous times on Frog Leap “what ever happened to your signature Chapman that you mentioned was in the make?”. There was never a response about that. One can only assume, that with the breakup of your band, & those members going to frogleap; there may have been bad blood with the Chapman Leo concept. But thats unsupported fact, thats only my intuition speaking. With that said, mentioning that this Bari was for Leo; there just another piece of the curious crumbs that disappeared under the rug….. I could go on & elaborate, but rather that; can we just hear from the source; what happened to a Leo sig?
baritone is always a yes. The only other companies with a six string baritone this shape are Jericho and solar, to my knowledge at least. Neither offer quilted maple tops if you wanna have something to set you apart from them. At least temporarily.
Why not make a market out of selling the hundreds of prototypes as a "model" at a low price point for awesome entry level yet solid quality guitars?
ghost fret in purple and green burst or fade

I think there should be a lefty ghost fret hod rod rod basically a Trans purple or candy apple red ghost fret, with 24 fret neck, ebony fretboard, arch carved quilt or flamed maple top Mahogany body (Not weight relieved) with white pearloid body, headstock and neck binding on the trans purple and on the candy read there would be black pearloid headstock/neck/body binding. Dimarzio super 3 Bridge position, Maybe a Dimarzio Humbucker from hell in the neck or maybe a sustainic pickup in neck. original floyd rose tremolo and locking nut with FU tune upgrades, and a classic America T-Bullet hot rod inlay at the 12th fret. sperzel locking tuners, as for neck i don't know what would be good besided the basic mahogany and basic maple, maybe a full paduk or go crazy and have a rosewood guitar neck (which i don't know what it sounds like, i do like rosewood fretboards but never tried a rosewood neck or entire rosewood body and neck guitar before. So i stick with either mahogany, baked maple or a paduk neck for it. but i think the arched carved top would make it different from instruments with similar body shape. as for the proto-type your playing i think the color should have been green into red and call the finish ripening Apple finish cause a apple goes from green to red. why i would not have it weight relieved it because i use 3 inch or wider padded guitar straps and that redistributes the weight alot better especially for my tiny shoulders. Now a double neck 6 string electric Ghost fret and a 12 string hollowbody ghostfret acoustic/electric Something like the 90's douglas blair doubleneck electric 6 string/12 string acoustic guitars and like the guild 6 string electric, 12 string acoustic double neck that guild built for slash in the 90's or 2000's. also bring back the v with again carved archtop and have a thin body similar to the ibanez sabre guitars. you do not see v type guitars built like that (YET). this is just more of the ideas i have stored away. i love guitars and music gear so much i come up with ideas for new things constantly and modifications on current things, stuff i would like to see. being left handed and not in position like you and others all i have is to dream and mentally create these ideas, and imagine what these things would be like if they were real. So yes you should put out a 24 fret ghost fret and a baritone ghost fret and maybe do a finish where it starts at a yellow into orange into red then black and call it sunset finish. i am liking that you go over all the prototypes. alot of guitar companies do not want to even acknowledge the prototypes they do. I like seeing what could have been.
Rob have you ever heard of Crimson guitars,?
A small British bespoke guitar maker,
South African guy,

Of course, I know them well

I bought my first decent guitar oct last year,
Was looking at fender strats and Gibson SGs
They were a bit out of my price range,
And then I saw it,
My guitar,
The one I had to have,
I questioned myself as I went to check out on Andertons, website,
It's £500 ,are you sure this is the one?
As I'm actually paying for it,😆🤣
After days of watching the DPD tracking
It finally arrived,
My CHAPMAN ML2 Standard,
I'm a very very happy man
Thank you Sir,
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
🤟🤟🤟
I would do that guitar so much !
