It’s finally here,the new 2023 Chapman Guitars Ghost Fret ,I actually love this guitar it’s got 110% on the playability scale…..

The Ghost Fret is back, and we couldn’t be more excited.
This time round we have made some improvements, tweaks and minor alterations to the classic. From improved body carving and strap lock placement through to the introduction of Korina wood for the first time ever to the Chapman range.
Of course the Ghost Fret still comes equipped with the spec you would expect from Chapman including stainless steel frets, roasted maple neck, and Hipshot locking tuners.
After extensive testing we settled on a pair of USA Seymour Duncan’s for this beast, a Ceramic “Distortion” in the neck and an ALNICO 5 “Alternative 8” in the bridge bringing a full spectrum of power and articulation.
From smooth blues through to searing Metal, the Chapman Ghost Fret has everything you need and more.

It’s a killer guitar hard to put down buddy
Harmonic content of a guitar is directly correlated with the bridge pickup distance from the bridge. There's a sweet spot which in this case seems to be just perfect. A lot of guitar manufacturers use fancy woods and top tier electronics but fail to understand this simple yet very important aspect of the tone

Thanks for showing the guitar with the strap and standing up... I had the old ghost fret and sold it because of the awful neck dive it had. Glad they seemed to have fixed it.

The sound samples sound pretty muddy, but the dynamics this guitar offers seem to be amazing. Hopefully it's not sold out before I was able to order mine, these Chapman guitars go out of stock so quick sometimes. :) If I decide to keep it I might throw a Black Winter into the bridge position.

Awesome the screen shot of the Amped 2 shows the settings minus the clean boost
They say that the cab makes for 80% of the tone (apart from the character of the amp). You definitely got the right cab/impulse response
Hi yes it’s the cab rig software by Blackstar think I used the 212 on this one
I have this guitar at home now, but in black color. What a beast! Not sure about the neck suiting my hands yet, but man, so much sustain, much better than other Chapman guitars I've tried recently (ML3 Pro Traditional and ML1 Pro Modern). I have some issues with placing my thumb on the backside of the neck when moving in the first two frets and with the edge under the picking arm pushing the guitar away from my body when sitting. Kinda want the ML3 Pro Traditional back, even tho it doesn't sound so fat with metal distortion, more analytical.

Man that sounds awesome. I missed which amp you were using. I saw a Blackstar tag on the short video but that's all I could find. Whatever it is, I don't think I would need anything else.
