I think most people do that. I know I do. I think you can gain a better sense of what the axe is all about by playing chords and riffs.

It's kind of interesting the way people end up following certain paths as a player... I instinctively want to play leads but on the flip side, I really had to work hard to get my rhythm chops down because it's never the way my mind wants to naturally work, most of my 'rhythm' parts are still basically melodies!

Dude, I used to play guitar around 6 years ago, back when I was about 9/10 and I left it be. I have recently(a month) found and subscribed to your channel and it has snatched my interest right up! I've gone straight back to my lessons and I continue to look back at even older videos. I love the way you shred on the guitar, with such passion for playing the instrument. I love it, man!! I may be a newbie at playing, but watching your videos inspires me 100%.

Yup,the Ghostfret came out really nice,any plans to make a Floyd Rose version of it?With some S.Duncan JB/Jazz in ''Zebra-Optic'' and a proper Floyd this would be the ultimate oldschool Hard'n'Heavy axe. \m/
Zed1967 A Floyd-1000 like on the Korean ESP/LTD's or PRS SE's would be fine,of course Original Floyd Rose by Schaller is the best.

Anybody know which Seymour Duncan pickups those are in the blue Ghost Fret? They sound fantastic. The Bea tele sounds excellent as well.
pgk7285 They will do extra videos for every model soon,where they will give full specs.My guess is,these are either JB/'59 or JB/Jazz,because that's the usual combo for a Rock/Metal guitar like this(many Jacksons & ESP's have them stock) but I'm just guessing here,so let's wait for the final specs. :-)

I think the ghost fret would look even cooler if it didn't have the pickup rings. Also if the hardware was chrome in the blue model instead of black. Either way I think I might have to get a ghost fret haha

I agree. I hate the black hardware. No pickup rings would be cool as long as the pickup cavities are routed so the pickups are parallel to the strings.

Seriously though that baritone is everything I could want for one. Hipshot, tele-style body shape BUT NOT FENDER LOOKING, good pickups, only thing I don't care for is the single coil neck pickup, but it doesn't matter since I'd only be doing sludgy grindy metal shit with it anyways. I DIG IT!

It's a single coil sized humbucker! Anyway, single coils aren't all that bad, Korn use them in the neck, they just make pretty sparkly clean tones
I want to turn it into a djent axe. It will be awesome for low ambient cleans and crushimg lows

Is it even possible to make an original looking guitar anymore? All the sort of mainstream looking shapes were done first. BC Rich and Killer (and a bit of ESP, a few Japanese musicians' signatures) have pretty much covered everything else functional. What else could there be?
Do you still have the original Ghost Fret Rob?
No, back in the day we didn't sell any... so Jaden asked for it back so he could sell it to recoup his costs...just one of those things and things have very much changed ;-)
By the way, this Ghost Fret is a completely different shape and construction to the initial 2010 model that Jaden made.

now hold on a minute. you have your own line of guitars but you just stick with already established guitar body designs? why don't you design a new guitar from scratch? don't you have that option? be different. be more creative. when dean debuted the ML people looked at it and knew right away it was a dean and it was different. i'm not trashing your guitars. they appear to be nice, high quality instruments but i just had to throw that out there.

The Explorer is my favorite guitar shape. I've always dreamt of having a mat black one with a silver stripe. Boy, was my dream wrong. That blue one is simply perfect. Before watching the video I thought of buying it and have it refinished but that would totally ruin it's perfection! Congratulations, brother!

Omgthe first explorer kind of guitar i like, that blue ghost is georgeus, you should consider making other colors for the top like wine red or lemon yellow, with the flamed maple they would look very nice. You guys seem so happy jajaja good luck Rob.

When you said that the blue Ghost Fret was more of a bluesy I got to say that I totally agreed. Being myself a blues guy (that obviously loves strats and LP's) I wished that I could have one of those beauties.

You've got that right dude. Normally im not a huge tele fan, but there's just something about the chapmans that make me really want one. I guess i like the way these look/sound over fender (and rightfully so, these chapmans are absolutely beautiful). Once rob comes to the states for a chapman guitars tour im definitely looking to get one. Cant wait.
You should check out wirebird guitars, been making cool modern tele's for a few years now
