The Shower Power Booster is made possible with the invention of the 'pressure enhancing device' which was granted a patent in 2012. This invention allows us to achieve the same output with a 12 watt pump as traditional pumps 20 times bigger using 300 watts.
Shower Power Booster offers:
Simple 3-step DIY installation
5-star reviews
2-year warranty
Free UK next day delivery

Absolutely amazing product, simple installation 4 days ago I bought this pump from Amazon and converted my vented hot water system into Combi boiler from mains,so satisfied, thanks
Fitted 2 of these and they work well
Mine are still going strong after 5 years 💪. I have one on both hot for house, and cold feed to the bath for balanced pressure. How long do these pumps last?
you're probably the guy to ask tbh. 5 years at least
We still have pumps going strong after 8 years but only because we have only been selling them for 8 years. There is no reason why they should fail earlier but as with all things sold you may be unlucky. Buying through the Showerpowerbooster.co.uk can give you a 3 year warranty.
Hi mate I’ve fitted a pump on the hot water feed from the tank and has improved the power a lot, but the shower is a basic mixer tap so hot is over powering the cold if I changed it to a thermostat mixer would that solve the issue or would the hot still over power cold ? Thanks
Some mixer taps will deal with differential hot and cold pressures of up to x5 so it might sort it.
The better solution is to add a SP2U which is an extra pump to balance the cold pressure. This will give you a better shower.
@@alandwright2 thanks for the reply I think we will get another pump
Quick question 🤔 I've been called to a flat with new header tank with open vented direct hot cylinder, however they are both in the smallest loft space you ever seen, so you guessed it no head pressure to push the cold water head tank to the cylinder. Can I use a salamander flange and your pump to boot head pressure.
I would not push cold water down into the hot water cylinder as it will just escape through the vent pipe into the cold water tank. You can pump water away from the hot water cylinder after the vent pipe either next to the hot water cylinder or tee into the vent pipe in the loft. Do not use a Salamander flange if this means the hot water has to travel up into the loft, across, and down as this traps air.
@@alandwright2 oh no the cold water was on a quater turn and the Vent pipe had a stop end on it and I left open the bath tap to pull any air lock through, it worked for day then it airlocked again.
@@seven9399 It is essential that the vent pipe is left open without the stop end fitted. You risk the hot water cylinder imploding or exploding as well as causing air locks.
@@alandwright2 lol I didn't leave it on there lol it was only just push the air lock out, hence the term vented lol
Excuse my ignorance, when cold goes into the cyclinder and comes out hot, what stops the hot back filling through the cold again and making the cold water tank hot?
The cold tank is above the hot water cylinder connecting to the bottom of the hot water cylinder which is itself cold. If the water at the bottom of the hot water cylinder was hot (but it is not), hot water could 'back fill' or at least heat would rise by convection back to the cold water tank. Feel the top of the cylinder and the bottom of the cylinder and the top is always hotter than the bottom.
So for what stop tank from staying hot it if it back fed?
Hi please tell what the pump call to order
