We were initially considering of hiring an immigration lawyer, but changed our mind when we listened to all relevant vids from you. Last week, we got already the I-130 approval notice without interview. It’s 13mos of waiting! We’re now waiting for my green card approval 🙏 Thanks again!
How long is the complete process?
@@jbferrer3, my case was 1 yr and 27 days to be exact. About 13 months. We did not hire a lawyer. We ensured we correctly filled-in the form and submitted strong supported documents. NO interview was done. I just had biometrics and then to our surprise we got the approval 13months from date of submission. We know of friends who were subjected to interview/s and waited for more than 2yrs though.

@@herlanej, hi I sent one pack with all the docs including the Advanced Parole and the vaccines. I properly label and segregated all docs. There is a video by Kseniya on how to properly prepare the packets with all docs which I also followed. Hope this helps.

made a mistake of answering NA 5 years ago. I130 was approved but had to file I824 and $400+ per child plus 5 months more added time before forwarded to NVC.

Hello there, I have made the payment for the Affidavit of Support and IV fees on behalf of my mother. However, I have discovered that according to her NVC case status, the interview location is listed as Cairo, Egypt. This is quite surprising because we actually filed her change of status form, i-485, on August 1, 2022, while she has been residing with me in Texas, USA. The most recent step in the I-485 process was her biometrics appointment, which took place in Texas in August 2022.
I filled the I-485 in parallel with the I-130. In the I-130 form, I filled the residence location of my mother in Egypt, but in the I-485 form, the residence location is in Texas, US, as I filled the I-485 while she was staying with me in USz, and that's why we made the adjustment of status for her.
Now that the payment for the Affidavit of Support and IV fees has been made, I would like to know how to adjust the interview location to a Texas location. Thank you, and I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Hello I just have a question. I filled out an I-130 form for my wife 9 months ago. When I filled out the application I didn’t include that I had assets even though I have a matched 401k with my employer, I didn’t realize that was considered an asset. As well, when filling out my work history I couldn’t remember exact dates and times when and where I worked. As long as I answered the questions to the best of my ability, that won’t deny my application for my beneficiary? Thanks!

Hi Kseniya. Im in the US while my parents are in my homecountry. So, even if i get the petition for my parents approved , they still will have to go to the embassy of the us in my home country in order to get a visa to enter the US?
Ksenia which country would you recommend to put in this section, if I’m applying for my mom and she is currently lives in Russia. Should I put Russia or maybe Kazakhstan (which is most likely to have her interview)?
Can you update Petitioners address once you get the notice of action? for example in F2A category, the child of a LPR parent enters USA on a student visa after the I-130 gets approved?
Regardless of which one you are doing/answering, so lets say going through consular processing, should you leave the other section for adjustment of status in US blank or fill in n/a for not applicable?

I haven't mentioned anything on form, when I am going through consular processing..Chatted with USCIS (Emma ) they told we not move case to NVC until i-824 is filled. Any suggestions what to do..As one of the lawyer told they will move NVC automatically after sometime...but I am confused what to do
Hey Kseniya! Might be an obvious answer haha but, My wife and I are filing our I-130 now, She is planning on being in the United States for most of next year, as well as the foreseeable future, so we should choose Oklahoma as the location that she will continue the adjustment of status, correct? :)
Will we have a problem if we mistakenly put the advisory on marriage in Prior Marriage of the Spouse Beneficiary instead putting it on the Affidavit of bonafide section?
How long does the entire spouse visa process take from the time I apply until the time my spouse is with me? I find some places say 6 to 8 months while others say 16 to 24 months? Anyone have a better answer, my wife is from Peru and I just filed the I130 this month.

I had the same problem while filling out the I-130 I did not know what should I write on questions 62 a,b, and c because my wife is in Afghanistan and currently there is not any active US embassy. So, I had to fill out the I-824. now it has been 32 days have not gotten any updates because of the situation and not being an active US embassy in Afghanistan, Is there is any way to ask the USCIS to expedite my case. the I-130 got approved for my wife in 2 weeks.

Thank you for the video. I have made few mistakes when applying online. 1. I put visa number expiration date in place of passport expiration date 2. I put my previous employment first then my current when it was supposed to be vise versa 3. I the box ofr the apartment number choice is not checked on all the addresses. Can you give examples of how an alien might already be in the United States when petition I-130 hasn't been filed for them yet? I understand the K-3 nonimmigrant visa can help a spouse wait inside the US while the petition is still being processed, but it's unknown whether a K-3 visa will be approved before the petition is. If the K-3 visa is approved and the spouse comes to the US before the I-130 is approved, would that mean the I-130 should say they're applying for an adjustment of status in the US? But how could we possibly know that at the time we file the I-130?
Many people come to the U.S. on a different type of visa (student, visitor, work, etc) and end up marrying someone and staying here to adjust status.
