For an online wedding, the "place" of the wedding is the jurisdiction which certified and permanently recognized the wedding. If you got married under the laws of the state of UTAH the place of the wedding is Utah. If the officiant was standing in a Brazilian town square and performed the wedding remotely under the authority of the state of Utah, then the place of the wedding is still UTAH . If the Captain of a Canadian Cruise ship performs the wedding via Satellite on open water , the ship is Canadian and the wedding is verified by the country of CANADA, so the place is CANADA. Another way to think about it is to ask the most appropriate question. What courthouse holds the original wedding document? The officiant carries and represents the authority of the PLACE. I am placing this information here since it is a convenient place do so and it seems like there is little knowledge on the subject.

Kseniya, I just want to say thank you for all of the videos you create! You can't begin to imagine how much they helped with the whole process. I recently went through the marriage based green card process and followed your videos step by step for each form and without these videos I wouldn't of known where to start. You made an extremely confusing process seem way more simple and easy. Please keep making videos as I know you will help many more people like myself! All the best for 2023! Jack
Additional question 🙋🏼♂️ 1) can you address the optional "Cover Letter?" Advantages, disadvantages, etc? Also, a suggestion which may be slightly outside of the wheelhouse, however, if you could create a "How To" video of how to create a PDF document that you mentioned that would display all of the evidence photos in one document, I would have clicked the link and watched that video. 👍🏽 Thanks again 😊
Thanks a lot! I have a question: in your community's experience, is it easier to do a name change directly on the green card application or before by going to SSA?
You are Amazing and incredible for this explanation, Actually you have saved my money by giving it to someone else who has been doing this for years and nothing has changed. Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much for your help! I filled out all my forms following your instructions and I got my green card in 4 months!!! 🎉 ❤ You're such an Angel! I donated and I will more!
YES, wonderful, thanks!!! Had viewed a couple other videos of your's but came here for "additional evidence" when seemingly none was relevant. You confirmed.
Kseniya, thank you for such a detailed video. This is the most helpful tool I have found for filling out the I-130. Your time is so appreciated! Would you please answer these two questions: 1-Do you answer "YES" to EVER visiting the US if it was just as a tourist? And do you fill out the status part of how the beneficiary entered if this is the case and they are not currently in the US? 2-Do you include children who are older than 21 years of age under the beneficiary's family info?
Hi, Yes you have to answer if you've ever been in the US. However you do not have to provide information like "Class of admission" etc. because you are currently not here. Yes you must include all children
@@KseniyaInternational Thank you SO much for responding! You truly care and that is so rare in today's world with things like this. Thank you, thank you! Should you still put your passport number and expiration date for when you visited the US? Or just omit all of it and answer "Yes"?
Спасибо Ксюше за такое подробную информацию в новом видео. 👏👏👏 особая благодарность, что находишь время для записи видео! Для нас всех - это очень нужно и важно!
Hi Seniya, I followed all your videos minutely while I submitted I-130, I-485,, I-765 and I-131. Your information is quite exhaustive and helped a lot. Thanks to your guidance very much. 👍
Hey Kseniya! Thank you for this helpful video!! I have a quick question. If I have already submit I-130 online, can I still assemble I-485 and other forms together and mail it to USCIS and have it considered as concurrent filing? I wasn't sure if I have to submit I-485 and I-130 both by mail to have it considered as concurrent filing. Thanks in advance!
Yes, you can submit the I-130 online and file the I-485 by mail. The I-485 has a section to include your I-130 receipt number from the online filing. This is still considered concurrent filing. The section on the I-485 where you input this receipt number is Part 2 item 3.
Wow im so glad i found your video. I was so confused filling out the form. Im so happy!!! God bless you for doing such great work and making lives easier
Hi, I got married recently, we were having doubts about filling out the I-130 and your video is amazing it's helping us a lot, I have a question I opened a uscis account in my name, but the form needs to be in my wife's name right ? Does she need to open an account or can she use my account for the form?
Hello. I have the same question. So the documents are for me, my husband is American, any of you know if I need to register in uscis to fill the forms or I can do under his account?
Hello Eduardo, im on your same situation, did you end up finding the right answer? Did you submit the forms on your account or did you created an account for your wife and filed the forms on her uscis account? Thank you in advance.
So the petitioner will NEED to create their own account. If filing i130 form and a supplemental is needed such as the i130a you can upload that form into the evidence section online when completing your i130.
Thank you so much for your kind helps. It will help me a lot. I know it would be hard to provide a long video but we need to know that you are helping many people. I am so proud of you.
Thank you so much for this detailed guide! I and my husband are in the process of submitting an application for me and I will let you know how long our case takes. This guide was perfect for us to look at while we were filling the application. Again thank you SOOOOO much.
Thank you Kseniya for your informative Videos. For Question 62, 63, 64 & 65, is the Form-485 asking about "Petitioner's" Household size, Income, Assests & Liabilities OR "Beneficiary's" Household size, Income, Assests & Liabilities. Son (petitioner) applying for mother (beneficiary. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to guide us through the online I-130 application. You have helped me along with many countless others. As a RUclipsr myself, I enjoy making how to videos in order to help people. It look likes they changed the additional Evidence part of the form to Official Statement (Religious Record/Census etc).
This was super helpful - thank you so much! At 23:20 - One question, what if the beneficiary doesn't have an address in the US that they intend to live at? Meaning, they're outside of the US currently and they don't know what address they'll live in once they move to the US.
thanks leaving your like right away . one question after filling the online form as you did . . do we need also to fill the paper version of Form I-130 PDF ?
Thank you for this information it is very helpful so far but I have a question. At 28:30 you get to the portion where the petition asks what was the beneficiaries class of admission. But in our case my spouse has never been admitted to visit the United States so I would assume that I leave that part blank. Am I right about that? Because with everything else you would give us other options. But this time you never gave us the option of leaving it blank if it doesn't apply. But the petition does say What 'WAS' the beneficiaries class of admission. And in this case I'm not sure that I will be prompted this question because of my previous answers to questions.
hi Kseniya, thanks very much for your time and great effort to help us!!! I am currently filling out i-130 online for the Native language part, they adds one File requirement that "if your documents are in a foreign language, upload a full English translation and the translator's certification with each original document" I don't know it is because this reason that i couldn't upload my document as the sample you shared on your video, it pops out the reminder that "only English language characters accepted" it makes me confused that it is call native written language, how can i use all the English language if my native language is not English. May I know do you have any advice about this? Hopefully i made my question clear, and thanks so much for your time and help no matter if you know what the problem is or not .
Kseniya, I hope you don't mind one more quick question :). We're at the tail end of filling out the i-130 but in the review portion, it's giving us a red flag (hard stop, can't proceed further) because it says there are inconsistencies with the beneficiary's address. But, we've triple checked and they are correct. Have you heard of glitches in this regard?. And, secondly my American husband and I live in Canada. So, on the i-130, is the petitioner supposed to put an American mailing address for himself? I know that doesn't sound logical but someone told me that is correct. I have tried the form with various address combinations to see where the error is, but cannot figure it out.
Hi, @54:45, when does the beneficiary's authorized stay expire? mine is F1 visa with D/S, is that ok to leave it blank as it said you should provide a response? did anyone do that without a problem?
@@KseniyaInternationalThank you for your quick replay, however, mine program ends in 10 months, while the process may be longer than that. Will it affect the process when mine expires? I may change my status to OPT or something else.
Thank you so much for your videos. I'm hoping you may be able to answer a question, if you've come across this situation before. I am the petitioner and I work on a civilian contract in Iraq. I met my husband here and we were married in Erbil, Iraq. I own a home in Arizona, and I go there 2-3 times a year. I work on an Iraqi air force base and am not permitted to leave the base unless I am going out of country for vacation. My husband works on the base (which is how we met) and he has a home just outside the base. He stays with me on base 3-4 days a week. I'm wondering 2 things: 1. Is my home considered Arizona or Iraq in this situation? 2. If my home is considered Arizona, then obviously I wouldn't state that he lives with me. If, however, it's considered Iraq, would I state that he lives with me on the base? This part is confusing to me.
thanks dear for the detailed video! i just want to ask if we have previously filed a petition and we withdrew but also have filed a petition for both parents in the past, how should we state this in part 5?
Thank you so much!! If I crossed the USA with an Advance parole and did not at the time have a passport from my country of origin, would I just include the document number that was used to cross which is the same as the number in the i94 as the "passport number"? or leave it blank?
Best presentation I’ve seen since I decided to bring my mother from Cuba. But I have a question: For the case of my Mom, the only proof requested related to her is my Birth Certificate, not even her Birth Certificate. It’s that ok, or am I missing something? Thanks
Thank you so much for making and uploading this video, this video really helps answering a lot of questions and also clarifying some common mistakes you could make while filling out online I-130.
Great information. My question is in regards to the Beneficiary's family. If the beneficiary and the petitioner do not have kids together but the petitioner has children do you list the kids names?
Thanks so much for this explicit video of the application process. For previously filled petition under "Other information", what if you cannot find or remember the date you petitioned for a relative in the past, or have filled multiple petitions, what do you do in that situation?
Hello! Thank you for the amazing video. I just have one question. For my spouse beneficiary she has only been to visit the US with an ESTA, she has been multiple times. I was able to get her I-94 number and I put her date of arrival being the date of her arrival on her most recent trip to the US, but for her expiration date I am unsure what to put. Technically the expiration date of her ESTA would be outside of the 90 day range legally permitting her to visit, so I was thinking of putting the date she actually left as recorded on the I-94 as to not make it look like she overstayed. She also now has a new passport with a different # with her last named changed to mine attached to it, would this only go under evidence of name change and not her passport number since she has not yet traveled with it yet and the I-94 is registered to the previous passport. Thank you so much, have a great day.
Thank you so much for explaining the online filing process. However, I want to know if I need to still upload the petitioner and Beneficiary signature as you said in your previous video.
great presentation thank you so much! i want to ask a question about immigration information page 2. the person came to US with a tourist visa. and then he returned to his country. at that time will we answer that questions? because online form and paper form is different. paper form says if the person is outside of the US, they said that don`t answer it. but in the online form there is no section to pass the questions.
Hi, I have a question Where in the US does the beneficiary intend to live (Minutes 23:29). We both currently live outside the US, what should we write? Thank you very much in advance
Hello! Around 47:54, when you were talking about Proof of Legal Name Change. If the spouse (female) still using her maiden name upon filing the application, should we leave it blank? Thank you

I work as a production assistant for commercials, tv production and film but throughout a month I can be working maybe 3 days for a commercial a week off and another full week on a reality show. Usually the producers reach out to me that they need a production assistant so I say yes or no. Ksenia, thank you so much for a guide. 😊 I have been in this USA many years ago, now I live outside the USA. Should I in indicate my current passport or that one that expired many years ago in the Beneficiary's immigration section? Thank you for you answer.
Thank you so much for the video! It was really helpful. I have a question. I am a LPR, and when it asks about the "Class of admission" it also asks the date and city. So, what is the city? The one were I got admitted, or the one where I reside? Thanks!
Hello, My Thai spouse and I are currently living together in Thailand, while I am completing the application. I don't have my own house in the US currently, but have a mailing address at my parents house. Should I use this as my current mailing address or should I use my actual address where I currently live in Thailand? Also, how do I complete the question at 23:10 - "Where in the United States does the beneficiary intend to live?". I plan to buy or rent a house after the visa is approved, but obviously that does not exist yet so I'm not sure exactly where I will live. Should I just use my parent's address (my current mailing address)?
What are your recommendations? I need to get started with spouse green card and hoping to travel international end of year. Thank you for all your videos
Thank you for the information, This video is extremely helpful just a quick question: In the section "where have you lived during the last 5 years? Do I have to put them in there original language? Thank you in advance.
Hello Kseniya, really helpful video. Thank you for making such a video. I have a question, one the field, where it says, "Where does the beneficiary intend to live, once they come to the US?" If I put in the address I'm in right now, but if I move from that address in a few months, is that going to be a problem?
Hi Kseniya! Thanks for all the great work you are doing for everyone on this channel. Just a quick question if don't mind: my mom applies for me under adult daughter category. The online form automatically lists evidences of end of prior marriage for both her and her current husband in the Evidence Attachments section. Is this type of evidence needed for parent-child petition category or should be skipped in our case?

hi, I changed my name when I became a citizen. from bryan Pourlage to Mike bryan Pourlage, should I write brayan as a former first name at 7:02 ?, thanks
Hello, Kseniya! How are you doing? I was wondering. As for the question "Where in the United States does the beneficiary intend to live", what if the petitioner has been living outside the US with the beneficiary for almost 5 years, since the time that they were married and they don't have at this moment a specific address in the US where they are going to live in because, for instance, they are awaiting the green card to rent or purchase a house? Could I just type in a city where most likely where we are first going to live in; for instance, the city of residence of the parents of my American wife?
@@KseniyaInternational No, I don't! But what I did was filling up this part of the city of residence in the US with the address of my wife's parents, which are both Americans, and then I added an explanation in the online form as additional info (there is a section for this, just don't recall the name now) that I did not indicate a complete address, but only the city of residence, because we don't have a residence there, since we live in another country. Let's see what will be the end of this! At most, they can only issue an RFE requesting a complete address instead of denying the petition because I did not provide a complete address for a justifiable reason When we receive the decision, I will certainly share this here
@@KseniyaInternational But perhaps I should have provided their complete address, instead of only their city of residence + a complete explanation about the situation
For the employment history Do we write the name and address of employer as it shows on the W-2s or the actual address where you go to work everyday.? My w-2s addresses are in another state so I’m confused on which one to put down.
Hello Kseniya for your video. Did you ever come to the issue of not being able to upload evidence? I am getting error message, I changed size of files and even rename them more simple and no luck. Thank you
Excellent breakdown, thank you so much for this! I have one question that hopefully someone here can answer. When uploading a document in beneficiary's native language, can it be a picture of hand writing? We are filing online, but have prefilled out the printed paper documents. It wouldnt be ay different than hand writing it in the boxes on the paper form at that point.
Kseniya, thank you so much for all this beautiful and detailed information! I do have one question which I'm not sure of: does 'address history' mean every possible place you lived at during the last 5 years OR only the addresses that you were officially registered at? I'm looking forward to your answer, maybe it will help other people too!
I noticed that you're filling out most of the fields in all capital letters, is that something you specifically recommend? Sorry if I missed it in the video, this has been super helpful so far though!

Your advice are a blessing. Still confused in what to put in employment when I am a 71 year old retired person since 14 years ago!
You just write retired
This is unreal. This is the best walkthrough of any Visa document i've ever watched. Well done
Your Instruction is concise and easy to follow and it helped me and my new wife a great deal. I appreciate all your effort to help people do this without hiring an attorney.

This is true. I documented my timeline and submission for my concurrent filing DIY ruclips.net/video/vOankhPWqLA/видео.html
Thanks again 😊
Thanks a lot! I have a question: in your community's experience, is it easier to do a name change directly on the green card application or before by going to SSA?

Great presentation- very thorough! And thoughtful tips too! I particularly appreciated the tips regarding the passport style 2x2 photo as well as the additional information portion. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your help! I filled out all my forms following your instructions and I got my green card in 4 months!!! 🎉 ❤ You're such an Angel! I donated and I will more!
Thank you so much for making this video! You have made such a stressful process so smooth and easy. I really appreciate it!
YES, wonderful, thanks!!!
Had viewed a couple other videos of your's but came here for "additional evidence" when seemingly none was relevant. You confirmed.
BTW, you channel is the best. I finally feel confident to go through this process on my own, you make it all seem manageable. ;)
Thank you for breaking this down!
Kseniya, thank you for such a detailed video. This is the most helpful tool I have found for filling out the I-130. Your time is so appreciated! Would you please answer these two questions:
1-Do you answer "YES" to EVER visiting the US if it was just as a tourist?
@@ivanfigueiredo3683 I have the same question, Did you get a answer for that? Please share it with us 🙏🏻
If I filled for my parents then do i have to download any pdf ? Can you please walk through whole process for parents and brother/ sister as well
Спасибо Ксюше за такое подробную информацию в новом видео.
Hello friend did you submit your medicals with it ?
Hey Kseniya! Thank you for this helpful video!! I have a quick question. If I have already submit I-130 online, can I still assemble I-485 and other forms together and mail it to USCIS and have it considered as concurrent filing? I wasn't sure if I have to submit I-485 and I-130 both by mail to have it considered as concurrent filing.
Thanks in advance!
Hello, check out my video about concurrent filing and how it works
I’ve seen people be able to file on the beneficiary’s uscis account
Does for i-130a comes together with i-130 In the same form?

Thank you Ms. Kseniya… a big hugs and thank you from us Filipina beneficiaries. God bless you.
It look likes they changed the additional Evidence part of the form to Official Statement (Religious Record/Census etc).
i would like to say thank you for doing this, this is very helpful for us. May God bless you more. 🙌🏻
Thanks!
This was super helpful - thank you so much!
At 23:20 - One question, what if the beneficiary doesn't have an address in the US that they intend to live at? Meaning, they're outside of the US currently and they don't know what address they'll live in once they move to the US.
This video is 5 stars! she is very detailed
The best I've seen so far . 🎉
thanks leaving your like right away . one question after filling the online form as you did . . do we need also to fill the paper version of Form I-130 PDF ?
No you do not, that defeats the purpose of online filing. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video!! I’m doing my I 130 form while watching your video 💜💜🙏🏽
I’m actually having the same issue and want to signal boost this, no idea what’s going wrong with my application
@@blanyeeast2928 I haven't had a chance to call USCIS yet. I hope Kseniya sees these comments. I'm really stuck and I'm not sure USCIS will help.
could you send a screenshot to my email
Hi, @54:45, when does the beneficiary's authorized stay expire? mine is F1 visa with D/S, is that ok to leave it blank as it said you should provide a response? did anyone do that without a problem?
You can write date of I-20 expiration i.e. “program end date”
@@KseniyaInternationalThank you for your quick replay, however, mine program ends in 10 months, while the process may be longer than that. Will it affect the process when mine expires? I may change my status to OPT or something else.
Thank you for answering the question about the expired passport, that’s something I needed to know!
Thanks
Yes that’s all that’s required at this stage. See form I-130 instructions
Thank you so much for making and uploading this video, this video really helps answering a lot of questions and also clarifying some common mistakes you could make while filling out online I-130.
Thanks for showing how to file I-130 form correctly. I just submitted one for my family ❤
Ksenya ! The best explained ,.…..loving in you ! Thanks again.

Hello! Around 47:54, when you were talking about Proof of Legal Name Change. If the spouse (female) still using her maiden name upon filing the application, should we leave it blank? Thank you
Hi! I love your videos they have helped me a lot. I have a question with employment history. How should I put my history if I work as an independent contractor/Freelance. I work as a production assistant for commercials, tv production and film but throughout a month I can be working maybe 3 days for a commercial a week off and another full week on a reality show. Usually the producers reach out to me that they need a production assistant so I say yes or no. Should I just put the history from the moment I started working independently? or do i have to put every individual job i took?
Good question.. do you have it registered as a business? In that case if all the entities pay you under one business I’d keep it continous
Absolutely perfect! Love it. Can you let us know how we configure out that which service center it would go to?

It should be ok

Hello, Kseniya! How are you doing? I was wondering. As for the question "Where in the United States does the beneficiary intend to live", what if the petitioner has been living outside the US with the beneficiary for almost 5 years, since the time that they were married and they don't have at this moment a specific address in the US where they are going to live in because, for instance, they are awaiting the green card to rent or purchase a house? Could I just type in a city where most likely where we are first going to live in; for instance, the city of residence of the parents of my American wife?
That’s actually a good question 🤔 do you have any relatives at all in the U.S.?
@@KseniyaInternational No, I don't! But what I did was filling up this part of the city of residence in the US with the address of my wife's parents, which are both Americans, and then I added an explanation in the online form as additional info (there is a section for this, just don't recall the name now) that I did not indicate a complete address, but only the city of residence, because we don't have a residence there, since we live in another country. Let's see what will be the end of this!
At most, they can only issue an RFE requesting a complete address instead of denying the petition because I did not provide a complete address for a justifiable reason
When we receive the decision, I will certainly share this here
@@KseniyaInternational But perhaps I should have provided their complete address, instead of only their city of residence + a complete explanation about the situation

Yes that happens, you can try different file format or restart a new application.
Excellent breakdown, thank you so much for this! I have one question that hopefully someone here can answer.
