Hello, the form asks to list all children regardless of where they are. Both questions would be no. You do not need to submit their birth certificates if nobody else is applying with you

I wrote my spouse's name in part 4 (fields 2.a and 2.b) and when I scroll down to part 8, his name is automatically filled. I mean, it doesn't let me erase the field. Most fields that do not apply to you, put N/A, try not to leave them blank. N/A is ok.
