You're amazing !! I'm always blown away by all of the stuff you know how to do. Your new truck is nice too! If I bought that truck it would have been a relic in the backyard that someone had to clean up, after I kicked the bucket :-):-)
Funny, I have some relics I need to work on, but haven't. For example: the chewy van project, the V8VW, the go cart, etc... Now that I am doing this full time, maybe I can get to those projects faster. Thanks for the awesome comment and for watching.
Another great video. Nice looking pickup. Got a great deal. Your a man of many talents. You have definitely been blessed , with the knowledge to be able to do anything u set ur mind to
$500 is pretty damn good i'ld say. brother in law had that same truck no lift but somehow fit 295/16 tires on it. im looking for a under $1000 1 ton 4x4 project like this for the farm. recently i changed the catalytic converter on my '91 k1500 now the starter turns engine over faster & it's got way more power. had a local tractor repair convert r12 to r134 for $95. you should try to get some in there so you don't hurt the compressor. mine has the old 700r4 transmission with tv cable. the transmission went out 189k scorched the 3-4 gear discs/steels the rebuild kit was $300 plus fluid was'nt hard to rebuild
My pops used to have a maroon 1997 z71 with a 5in lift sitting on 37 super swampers, it also had 40 series flowmasters on it ever since he had that truck iv just loved chevys, I'm currently building a 87 Chevy. I'll post a vid on my channel soon about it. Like always man I love the vids!
I like how you have a factory tac on the instrument cluster. My 94 Silverado, with a 5.7 Auto didn't come with that option. Have to go to a junkyard and get one. I would by one on eBay but they want way too much money. Anyway love the truck! Thanks for the awesome video
I was surprised to see you use a Fram oil filter, Wix makes a great oil filter, Have you had a chance to watch a video of oil filters being cut open and compaired ?
Yes, I guess I never uploaded the guy towing it off... He drove three hours to get it, pulled it home with an S-15, and never asked for the title. I guess he was going to race it. Maybe I can find the footage and add it to the next truck update. Thanks for watching.
I like the Stepside I think I would put a straight axle front end under it big blue is nice just remember with a small block the more you carry around the slower it's going to be
good work bro! $500 step side? nice deals! you could make the 4x4 into a step side :D then use the wider fleetside box for a trailer with better cargo capacity. just an idea. that stepside sounds clunky when you're driving it. its funny to see it run with no transmission, ive done the same with the firebird project :D . that batman knife is epic. are you pulling the cabin in 4hi or 4low? thumbs up
The cabin was in 4 low, I had to think of an excuse to lock it in... I had thought about step side and fleet side swapping, we will see. I don't know if I want to sell the step side so some one can save it or start chopping it up... I am post it for sell and see what happens, if nothing then start parting it out and make that trailer. Thanks for watching and keep working on that firebird.
That may be the one thing we have to disagree on. I have always put Chevy in first place and Ford in second place, but they are both good. I am just more familiar with the Chevys. Thanks so much for watching.
@@chud327 Well, I've had some experiences with Chevys. When I was like, 5, my dad bought a brand new Chevy Malibu. Within 75k, the liner was falling down, a lot of the power options had quit working, and the starter had literally fallen off while driving down the road. Roundabout then the engine developed a knock and he scrapped it. It was a fun car, but it was ridiculously unreliable.
@@muddy_armadillo That sounds like my wife and her love for Hondas, they have all been great, but she had a CRV with 30k miles and the tires were worn out. 33K and the brakes were gone. A few minutes later the head light went out... the biggest kicker was it would run hot while idling... we have had 5 other Honda and no issues, but that one was a lemon for sure. Maybe that is what was up with your Malibu. Thanks for the reply and thanks again for watching.
