Lol get out of anything with a pregnant wife, so true, we got pulled over while my wife was pregnant, she was puking right outside the car. The cop came up asked "what's going on?" I said "she's pregnant" cop instantly turned around and said "ok have a good night" and drove away. Awesome moment.

If you think a pregnant wife is a good excuse to dodge social events, a kid is even better. I had six and I didn't go *anywhere* I didn't want to. Most people recognize it's bad form to suggest that their lame 'party' trumps a parent's responsibility to stay home with a child who 'seems to be coming down with a fever'.

I tried getting out of jury duty when my wife was pregnant and almost due, the judge said that's not an excuse and had to stay. Luckily I wasn't picked because it was a Grand Jury pick.
