“Left to become the CEO of Stanley mugs” at the end killed me 😂
fun fact, the Chief Marketing Officer from Crocs is the one who came in and made Stanley go viral
I'll never forget my dad telling me that when he was working in PA a bear got into the back of his coworkers truck and ripped open their "bear proof" yeti to get some lunch meat. Never seen the point in getting one since
Was it locked with a padlock? Dead serious no bear proof cooler is actually bear proof unless you drop a lock on it.
@jamesrohner3792 well locking shit typically works against most mammals. Not sure about amphibians, reptiles, and fish.
Just saying if you actually look at any cooler that is listed as bear proof that rating is only good if there is a lock on it. Those rubber straps won't stop shit otherwise.
Perfect!
@jamesrohner3792 I go camping in places with bears. Pulling your food up a tree is way better then a 400 dollar cooler that needs a 1 dollar padlock to actually work as intended
I love when these guys collaborate.
Me too! They're incredible together!
As a Yeti cooler owner, I agree 100% with this video.
Ive got a couple myself but you know they are the best coolers made
"White cooler fur white collars" killed me. Well done!
I feel like yeti is one of those things people buy for the brand name when they want to show other people that they have money. Kind of like gucci
You don’t have the feel like it , cus that’s exactly what’s happening
Yeti is definitely the Gucci of the outdoorsy Chad world
Yep, the minute they buy one they go outside to slap that Yeti sticker on their truck so everyone knows. Kind of like Costa sunglasses.
White coolers for white collars.
Excellent!
2:40 Put a black marker spot on his shirt!😂
I like how Miles wrote on his shirt with marker @2:39. Adds to hilarity!
I’m pretty sure they just specked something out to a Chinese manufacturer. Came up with a good marketing plan and jacked the price up %300 from cost.
Forget about the coolers the cups and koozies are amazing
I agree 😂 over priced but I do like mine
I’m all set with my Coleman
Love how the can opener got thrown in there
Dude! You have had me laughing for years! You guys are the best!
"We can break their wallet, and their back". As someone who carried a full Yeti cooler up and down 40 steps to a beach side picnic, I concur with this.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is exactly how yeti was established
One of the best series in RUclips haha
Me and my wife just laughed so hard at this... Probably because it's true.
I admit I did buy a couple of the coffee mugs. And frankly, I love them. The magnetic opening makes them easy to clean, and they'll keep my coffee scalding hot for most of the day. That said, I could never see myself paying for shit like their coolers/blankets/buckets. It's mostly a total racket.
God damnit Tyler!
Now I want to buy a third Yeti cooler.
Tyler going on to become CEO of Stanley is such a Tyler thing to do
Okay - I work for people who buy YETI products. When your income exceeds a certain price point, it’s really hard to buy gifts!! 1) You can’t be too cheap, because you’re loaded. 2) You don’t need anything because you can easily buy what you need. So that equals “upgrading” normal products that make you feel fancier and like you spent enough money on the gift. 🤷🏼♀️ Easy explanation.
"1) You can’t be too cheap, because you’re loaded."
Why do people care?
The people you work for should donate to the human fund instead of buying gifts.
😂😂 Costanza @@nickmckee9399
Why do people care? Because why buy junk when you can afford the best?
And come on, every one buys each other gifts. Why would you stop buying your loved ones gifts just because you make a certain amount of money?
@Rosie_C why keep buying gifts , to impress people you don't like or they don't like you? from company's who don't care about employees?
You YETcha!
While such price tags are ridiculous, I got a Yeti tumbler as a gift once and was immediately blown away by it. Got busy at work right away one morning and couldn't drink my coffee. It was still hot two hours later. Same effect for cocktails in the summer, the ice just doesn't melt and water down your booze. I'm kinda sold on these things.
The tumblers and rambler bottles are legit. Anything else is overpriced over marketed trash
i get all sorts of knock off "freebie" type tumblers from work events that you can also just buy at the store. they work exactly the same. they just don't cost $30
Any stainless steel installated mug will do the exact same
@@shawnpepin7890 For the most part yes. I do appreciate the lid quality though. The magnetic coffee lid is super easy to clean and the chug cap is very high quality and hard to break. I don’t doubt cheaper brands hold ice/heat just as well though.
You guys should do a skit about RTIC. “Does everything yeti does for half the price”.
When this two get together you know youre in for a treat
No joke, you guys got me into Yeti in a big way. We've got the Rambler in multiple colours, the lunch box, the Tundra, the Roadie - once you've got a few Yeti products its hard to stop.
I draw the line at the bucket though, that's rediculous.
@@jeffreyormsby937 haha, yeah. We got a Tundra and Roadie in colours to match the house. Yeti is extremely pretentious but it's good quality (and bear proof!) and I like them.
I detail for a living and actually started with the Bucket after my buckets kept cracking. 5 years later same bucket but I kept buying more stuff like cups coolers etc
I love my Yeti Thermos’s and Mugs.
Glad your back, or RUclips stopped hiding your channel from me, im still subscribed.
I have two igloos and I've seen many bears...like to have one of them coolers though.
This is the most true video on YT!!!
I actually had a bear get into a cooler once. Dude drank 3 beers. Cans were full of bear claw marks. I still never thought I'd need a bear proof cooler after that. Was happy to donate 75 cents to the bear/beer gods.
Keep up the fun content! Cheers!
3 beers was $0.75?
In Canuckistan here, that would be a minimum of $6.00
@@ChromeArty They were cans of Budweiser from a case of them about 20 years ago. I was figuring about 25 cents a can back then? Regardless, I would have happily donated 6 bucks to the bear/beer gods for the experience.
Now I wanna get a grizzly drunk
This is the funniest thing ever!!! And so very true- love it!!!🎉🎉🎉
This feels exactly like the skit Charlie did with how Ikea was invented.
The accuracy of this makes it absolutely golden!
Pure effing gold!
This guys crusade agianst Yeti is fascinating
Laughed out loud at the epilogue where Tyler left to head up Stanley's mug division. For what those things cost they should file my taxes for me or at least somehow contain the hot coffee suddenly exploding out my mouth at your content. Well done fellas
The Boys be gettin' old, but like fine wine. Glad to see you still got it guys! Love ya!
Sounds about right
The statement at the end where Tyler went on to become the CEO of Stanley mugs.
Yetis serve a purpose but 99% of us aren’t using it for that purpose.
Kinda like massive pick up trucks
I love my bass pro bobber cooler
i wonder what yeti's mindset was to produce dog products
A $30 Igloo cooler + a $15 Poly board will do the same thing as Yeti…including holding less beer.
The OG YouBeti
If I ever find out one of my children bought a Yeti product I will consider myself a failure as a parent.
Could be worst...if they brought home...a hydroflask.
I'm with you there
You should consider yourself a good father, my son owns 8 Yeti coolers
The coffee mugs and rambler bottles are legit. Anything else is over marketed overpriced crap
White coolers for white collars 😂😂😂
*me watching this while drinking from my Yeti*
Forget the coolers, I cant get past Myles drawing on his shirt with the dry erase marker on accident
Brilliant and hilarious! 🤣
OMG, this is awesome!!!!
I love you guys so, so much. F yeah!
Nice dig at the can opener
Wicked funny!!! After I watched this video, I went to the yeti website, and holy shit!!!....😳😳😳!
I have a Yeti cooler but the logo is covered up with a “Youbetti” sticker!💪😝
I thought you meant yeti the bike make 😂😂😂
I have a knock-off Yeti cooler from Cabela's. About a fourth of the price, and can keep drinks cold for days. Great for road trips. I've dropped it all it's still in one piece.
I wouldn't all it a "knock-off". Yeti didn't invent the cooler, but I get what you're saying.
@@Two2onefive Mine has the same construction as a Yeti and has a lot of the same things in it. The only difference's are that it was a fourth of the price and made by Cabela's.
@@Trey_816what's the name if you don't mind?
Going to check it out.
I hate bears drinking my beer!
The jar of M&Ms can’t make up its mind
Coolers 😂😂 it's - 0 degrees and I'm out here Drilling for a paycheck the safety eyewash is frozen and the Drinking water is frozen and the drilling mud is frozen ...now what 😂🥶💪
So true
seeing as supreme is a thing i can't argue against it.
"We make videos so we can afford Yetis."
I saw a bunch of Yeti gear at my local Hunting store , thought it looked great. Walked over , flipped the tag to check price, then turned an walked away. Never to return to that section of the store again.
I believe it
Had a bear get in the camper once. It was terrible, but looking back, hilarious.
I take my RTIC “soft shell”cooler fishing/camping/ get togethers/ trips. God I love that thing
Outstanding! LOL
Just curious, if'n ya ever got any back lash from Yeti, for you dis'n their products over the last few years ? Not that they don't deserve it ! I think it's GREAT !!!
We have two extremely large coolers that we take camping. One is a yeti the other is a Coleman. One of them doesn’t need an ice refill for about 5-6 days. The other needs ice every 2 days. I’ll let you guess which one is which.
One was $50 and one was $750. How many bags of ice does $700 buy?
@@AB-nv7bz actually I think we paid around $400 for it. And the other was around $150. But the last time we went camping, ice was almost $3 per bag and we go camping for two weeks at a time. I have no idea how much we’d get gouged now for frickin ice, but I’m pretty sure it will pay for itself in my lifetime.
I use mine for camping. Keeps my beer cold all weekend without having to get more ice
I remember when the store I worked at started selling Yeti. I started to rescan the items because I thought there was a pricing screwup. No, they were really that expensive. P.T. Barnum was right.
lol this is pretty accurate
YETI Mountain bikes were a thing long before YETI coolers were around both way overpriced.
White coolers, for white collars, that's brilliant lol
i have two yeti mugs. they can keep my drinks warm for 5+ hours.
TYLER I SWEAR!!
This video reminds me of a very similar business philosophy where youtube content creators make silly videos about stereotypes of regionally specific things and places, then create clothing about said videos and sell shirts made in far away foreign countries to the same folks they created the content about at mark ups of 200-300%.
LOL at all the people who put yeti stickers on their spotless jeeps and trucks.
I immediately went to see if they really do make a $200 blanket. They do.
I was going to buy a yeti cooler at one point but because of these videos I’m now the proud owner of a Coleman
Thank you Rtic.
Yeti is the Apple of the cooler business
YOU ACTUALLY GET IT
@@theaterthug7 ?????
Years ago I did some work for the YETI office building here in Austin, and hilariously it looks almost exactly like that inside. All the walls are wood paneled and it seems like they desperately want to look rugged and outdoorsy.
keep it between you and me, heres an insider secret. yetis making a 120$ tackle box..
Tyler the lowkey MVP of this sketch.
Since I turned 18 a few months ago, I tried pull tab investing for the first time.
Our Yeti cooler handle broke on our fist camping trip with it. Thank God it was a wedding gift. I would have been pissed off if I would of payed $350 for a cooler that broke the first time out. 😅😂😅😂
Ozark Trail coolers for the win
I was considering buying a Yeti cooler and taking my family actually tent camping one weekend. I instead went the other way and spent the cooler money on a 5 bedroom lakefront cabin rental…for two weeks.
This might be the best collaboration since husbands of Target
I wonder if Yeti has sent them a seize and desist letter yet? Lmao
I use a Lifetime brand cooler that’s their competition to yeti. It was $115 and it keeps ice for 5-6 days in Midwest summer. Great for camping trips. I can’t wrap my head around spending almost three times that much for the same performance. Those yeti stickers are cool tho.
You have your own tops Allen grinter card Myles
Tyler is the man👌😆
That’s why Stanley is going up in price so much and all the teenage kids are into Stanley now
ye
No idea what small cooler dad has, but it kept a bear from getting into it. Has the claw/teeth marks and survived because they caught the bear in the act 🤣
