One thing missed here is that RE8: Village has info that states that Miranda was experimenting with the Mold before Umbrella existed, and the man who made Umbrella worked with Miranda on the mold. It inspired him to make Umbrella, but went a different route, creating the viruses rather than using the mold.
Maybe Vectors, eg: Mosquitoes carry Malaria, so maybe some virus will get carried and spread among mainstream societies through creatures or insects or something

For new players, the best game to start with is hands down Resident Evil 2 Remake. It retains most of the amazing plot from the original, and has some of the best graphics and scariest moments. Great first game
Theres some awesome lore in resident evil I love what they did with village tieing in the experiments done there with the mega mycia zombies an las plagas zombies with the umbrella companies original strain of the t-virus
The little girl was infected by the mild from game eight and messed with the family I’m pretty sure Mia and Chris work for blue umbrella which is all the good scientists from original umbrella that like wanted to make amends
The one thing RE: Revelations 2 does is it closes up some loose ends from RE5. Which is sad cause they set up a new villain in 5 and she is thrown away in a side game for 6’s C Virus

I love the resident evil series its really awesome and tons of fun and great timeline man :).
The first 3 games are about a virus 4,5 were about parasites, 6 whatever it was about, 7,8 was about mold so I wonder what 9 will be about?
I thought 6 was about the t virus and c virus.
