I love how Nick and Stephanie are cosplaying as Leon and Claire. That’s some true dedication there. I respect them for that!
Nick has just SO much of the energy of rookie Leon. I'm SO impressed how he changed for RE4R--his voice is nuanced, tough yet tender, snarky yet sincere, wise yet still an edge of hopeful naivete underneath it. AMAZING!

Seriously the most natural voice acting i've ever heard in 30 years of playing videogames. A great step forward for game voice acting, and hopefully the new standard.
I checked their background for voice acting. This is like their first big performance for all three actors. It would seem the people at Capcom went for smaller named actors. Not sure why. What I do know is that people who aren’t tied down by their expectations from other roles they have done tend to give more natural performances. I hope they come back for this franchise and this isn’t just a one time thing for them.
Andrew Rivera maybe because Re7, Remake 2 and Remake 3 went for a more “realistic” take. Dropping badass 1 liners every 5 minutes probably would have gone against their vision

DofyDudes I think they had to cut the clocktower segment, and make other segments shorter in RE3 Remake due to the short development time, but I really hope everything isn’t cut in the RE 4 Remake and isn’t made into DLC instead.

He's talked in the past about RE4 being one of his favorite games due to playing it together with his brother growing up so it'll would really suck for Capcom to not let him reprise the role in a remake of it.
@Android 2990 Version 2.0 When it comes to the Resident Evil series Capcom isn't exactly know for consistent characters across the series. They tend to replace actors pretty rapidly so it wouldn't really be unexpected to me if they did get someone else for Remake 4. I really hope they don't though. From what I've seen of Nick from his streams and interviews he seems like a really nice guy and seems to be genuinely excited over getting to be a part of Resident Evil.
I was skeptical of his voice working for RE4 Leon, but hearing his natural speaking voice changed my mind.
yes it would be nice but in RE4 Leon is older,and i hate to admit it but leon in re2 was younger so it doesnt really match ..

Yea hshe has pretty young sounding voice and given Claier is a teenager practicaly when RE2 takes place it kind of works.
Perfect for their respective roles. Especially Ada’s. Definitely the best VA for the character so far.

Finally played Resident Evil 2 Remake and I ADORE IT. Leon is so cool and his voice feels so campy and fun and Claire has so much personality! It's definitely one of my most favorite games of all time now!

Just seeing the VA's cosplay as the characters they play and go to a convention act chill and interact with the community warms my heart to such an insane degree to the point where I get all giddy just looking at this video
They really are professionals it seems cuz they've been dealing with the aftermath of acting as famous characters. Because generally anyone would be curious about who's behind the characters and look for them on the internet and events like this, and find them.
2 months and I'm not over this video yet!
Their voices are so iconic and in tuned so much as I play the game that give me chills that I love their voice more than their appearance.
Also they not gonna mention how their character was modded to the extreme😂😂

@@JoeBob189 The voices in the game aren't their 'normal' sounding voices. It's the first thing you notice watching Nick and Stephanie's livestreams of the game. Occasionally during the streams Nick tends to unintentionally slip closer into Leon's voice when he's tensed, scared, or stressed but Stephanie tends to mostly sound different from Claire unless she purposefully does the Claire voice.
You want really jarring, look for interviews of the voice actor for Nicolai in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Nicolai has an over the top stereotypical Russian voice but the voice actor has a hard British accent.
I hope to God they remake Resident Evil movie without Alice's existence and with these people playing Leon and Claire. Please do it! Resident Evil makers got money and I believe in them. No more Alice movies. Leon and Claire!

The thing is, they had such great looking actors to play the parts of the actual Resident Evil characters. But they did nothing with them. Stupid Alice.
There already is a series reboot in the works.
And fun fact, the original actor that played the live action Wesker in the original Resident Evil 1 actually approached Paul W.S. Anderson's agent when he heard about the movies being made and offered to come back and play Wesker in the new movies. Those movies actually could have had the original actor for one of the characters but Anderson is a moron.
@@Gandoan Exactly! They would bring on actors that look like the character and then the next movie they are gone or they barely did anything and it was really disappointing, Paul W.S. Anderson probably wanted it to focus on just his wife and not the original characters. Hopefully with the reboot there won't be a character like Alice. I liked the actors for Jill, Ada, and Leon from the films but they never showed up in the last one
there's a netflix series coming out. From what I read it revolves around other characters but we don't know yet that the original characters will be involved.

Nick really enjoyed being Leon in every moment, that dedication to not only dressing like the character but also literally dying to make the character as realistic as possible shows great dedication on his part.
