Took out my 2jz today followed this vidoe it was pretty easy
Thanks for such a detailed video. Papadakis racing was the closest we had to a detailed vid but this is levels above! Keen for a rebuild vid now!
More to come! Shooting the rebuild right now!
@@ECUMasterUSA hey Zach, I'm trying to wire up my ecumaster black parallel stock ecu '03 is300, is there a way to wire up DBW throttle body and still have the automatic shifting correctly? or does the auto need a TPS signal from stock ecu? Thanks!
@@Persocondes Email support@ecumasterusa.com with any questions
@@ECUMasterUSA ok will do. thanks!
@57:17 as a Jr machinist myself who resurfaces cylinder heads I cannot applaud you enough on this statement lol. the cleaner it comes in to the shop it makes you want to give that job priority lol.
We love our machinist! People will learn that once you find one that you like, they are your machinist for life!
This is very enlightening. I now know that it's much more better to stick with my 2jz-ge motor and upgrade it to the 2jz- Gte spec.
Happy we could help
I recently bought a 2jz ge supra and was told that its better to just engine swap to a 2jz gte, this true? for more power but the hassle and time will be difficult. lf around 600 Hp build
13:50 Side Note: Driftmotion sells a block-off plate for that port. I have one installed on my 2JZGTE Aristo engine swapped in my Mk3 Supra.
The amount of excess silicone in this motor is impressive, even that sump port on the block was partially clogged .
It wasn't pretty man.
Can’t believe this guy is still dedicated to ECUMaster; good for him.
Why do you say that?
@@CAC-1111 Cause he has been there a while - lots of people move on/around.
JZ are straight forward, even a rookie like me couldn't mess up
I wanna get started on working on my own car (sc400) what tools should I get?
most specific 2jz build nice worl guys
Thank you! We are trying to put out things that we wish we would have had as resources.
I am far from being able to do this but you did such a great job! Thank you for this
🤔 I hope he does a build series where he shows you how to use mics and check tolerances as you assemble the engine; a nice “clear” in-depth explanation would be great. 👍
Bro I'm your fan beautiful and satisfied teardown love your work
Thank you
How can I get 1Rz or 1jz engine. What the difference between them and can either work in each vehicle (switch) 5:16
So if you put a vvti head on a non vvti block. Do the knock sensors become obsolete?
I never heard anyone rebuilding electric motors call them electric engines, but most people call a I C E a motor not engine!
You give a lot of hidden info for building the gt. Gte engines for longivity! Kewl beans indepth info for DIY as well as middle of the road up grade people ! Carry on master!
What does it mean by cut crankshaft
Thank you!!!
Im in the process of converting my Z To 2jz.. what throttle body is that? Looks drive by wire
I swear i kept going to the door several times thinking my cat wanted back in the house lmao
Can I use the coolant block drain as a feed for a turbo?
I’m literally doing the exact same thing to my block
Interesting content.. 💯
💯
drops it on the ground.. "now it's reusable" hahahah
Need that engine cover in the pic of the video
Hit up Powerhouse Racing!
22:48 Wow…
11.40 been there done that 😂
you live and you learn right?
What about part2
Shooting it right now!
A little heat he says,
Grabs a bazooka flame thrower gun lmaoooo
Sometimes you just gotta let 'em know. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Apply a little bit of heat, .... *Brings out zombie killing blowtorch*
Of course! We are in America lol
bro has no patience 🤣🤣😅
Lack of patience made up for with brute force (and fire) :)
@@ECUMasterUSA exactly! 🤣
Can't hear a word he is saying..
