the word rapy is used because one of the rules for sexual intercourse not to be rape is "ongoing enthusiastic consent."
How is that supposed to happen if someone is shamed into accepting sex with trans people because else they would be called transphobe ? especially the enthusiastic part.
"Here's your milkshake"
"but... I ordered an ice cream...."
"Unless you're milkshakephobic you will now agree that this is ice cream."
Wow I find it interesting that it takes a straight man and a trans women to point out the obvious, we all have our preferences.
I still think #superstraight is one of the best trolls I've ever seen! 🤣😅 From a practical perspective though, it is easier to say I'm "super straight" than "I'm a zero on the Kinsey scale" or "I'm whatever the highest straight score on the Storm Sexuality Axis is."
I think the point that Blaire and you both are making is completely valid. It's not right to call someone transphobic if they aren't attracted to trans people. I'm a straight transman and I find that I'm not attracted to transwomen (especially the pre-op ones). Does that mean I would never be attracted to one? I don't know. It made me feel like maybe I was transphobic when it's just a matter of attraction. My now cisgender girlfriend has never been with a transman before me and didn't intend to be. She was always with cisgender men. We met online, and talked for a few weeks before I told her because I don't feel like I need to tell everyone for my own safety, and not everyone needs to know that about me unless there's a reason to tell them. 3 months later we're still together. She told me a few times that if I put I was trans on my dating profile, she wouldn't have contacted me. I guess not telling her right away helped her see me for who I am instead of the label and body parts, but I think I was just lucky. Anyway, thank you for bringing this to light. Happy trails ❤️✌️.
NO IT IST Blair white is a transphobic right Wing woman. SS Movement is a troll movement born out of HATE
@@kichan3353 maybe it was “born out of hate” but the message that’s being portrayed, the preference for cis men/women”, isn’t wrong.
It was only 2 years ago that genital preferences were labelled transphobic and now people are acting like it never happened.
Blaire may get her info wrong at times but she does speak with a lot of common sense. A lot of us in the lgbt+ community lack that in 2021 and we make up sexualities all the time. The reason we don’t like straight people doing it is simply because they’re straight
@@kichan3353 no it was born out a man being shamed and called transphobic for his dating preferences
But your lying to your girl friend
@@funnydude_5649 no he already came out to his gf and she's fine with it
Super straight is great! I'm super gay - no interest in anyone but handsome, well built biological men!!!!! (like Wyo Russ, LOL)
Same! Lol
Same here friend, that's what I identify as.
These terms super straight and super gay were born out of woke assholes ripping into straight men not being interested in trans people sexually and having a go at them.
"She would have to tell them upfront"
I can bet many of them are not telling.
I find it interesting when trans. tell people it's discriminatory when straight Men aren't attracted to trans. yet, a trans. person can tell you who you're supposed to be attracted to.
Favorite line: “we all need each other. We are one community.” ❤️
Nah
Diversity is not about intolerance. The SS movement is a fake troll movement to be transphobic and the will never be accepted within any community that accepts diversity
@@kichan3353 I don't think it's an inclusive attempt either. But it is defensive. And it's happening because there is an intense focus on forcing acceptance of others that can never be successful. People have to do that of their own accord - calling them transphobic will not open any hearts.
Thank you guys for your content. As a straight male much of the time I learn from the perspective of others. I love Blaire's channel as well. I have learned so much from watching video's like this. Your right these conversations need to happen, but they have to be calm rational adult conversations. I actually came across your channel from your reaction to Tom MacDonald. Subbed now, so thank you and keep up the great work giving people your perspectives.
"I have no idea what any of those are."
That coming from a gay guy, that should give everyone some introspective as to how narcissistic members of the LGBT community can be. Furthermore, Blaire has said on numerous occasions how non-binaries claiming to be trans makes it difficult for the LGBT community to be taken seriously.
PSA - Gender identity has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
Super-straight is not a sexual orientation and neither is demisexual, pansexual, polysexual, androsexual, etc. People can certainly be these things, but they're only subjective descriptors of attraction, not true sexual orientations.
The only true sexual orientations are asexual, homosexual, heterosexual, and bisexual.
I don't even know if asexuality is a thing. Sounds like very low libido or preference for celibacy after a traumatic experience.
@@ericszilagyi8214 I'm not asexual myself, but it seems entirely possible to me. As a homosexual, I think that, even if I wasn't attracted to males, I'd still get horny, which is how a lot of people who describe themselves as asexual explain it. Like if I was in a room with a woman, I could still get sexually aroused, it just wouldn't be towards her, nor would I wish to engage in sexual activity with her despite my sexual arousal because there is no attraction. I think it's completely possible for the same idea to be true of both sexes for someone.
@@vp9549 But sexual arousal is nature's command for you to go get what you are attracted to. If these people really get sexually aroused, it's because of some image, touch, or sound. They can't get aroused at nothing. It is not a useless physiological phenomenom as some people think.
@@ericszilagyi8214 Bro, you're just lying if you're trying to say that you've never been hard while not thinking about anything sexual. Your genitals aren't going to cease regular function just because your brain is never in the mood. There's going to be build-up.
@@vp9549 I was not talking about involuntary boners out of non-sexual stimula. And I didn't think you were talking about them either.

Super straight
#superstraight you are welcome. Fuck the LGBT haters!
Well, nobody that can say "eh, whatever, to each their own" in regards to sexuality or even identity have a problem with each other.
The only one's having a problem are those who think other people need to live in a specific way that suits the first peoples wants and needs.
And nobody exists solely to satisfy other peoples wants and needs.
You guys have great arguments. Love listening to you. :)
I've been a huge fan for many years now and hope to come and stay at your B&B someday soon. Keep up the great work my buds. Love you both so much!

Why do we have to put everybody in their little boxes all the time. We're all of the same race. Whatever you're into sexually, if it doesn't harm anyone else, unless they're into it, then just do it. I like guys, but I've never attached a lable to it or me. It's just what it is.
Great discussion guys. Cheers, Paul 👍😁👬🌈❤️
I'm a guy. I like guys. I'm not gay. Im. Just. Me. Yet I have been attacked for expressing myself and saying labels regress the main goal. Gay is alternative, but being ME should NEVER be second. I feel you friend. This label issue NEEDS to be addressed
@@williamelliott186 So why do you have no problem classifying yourself as a "guy"?
@@vp9549 I'm saying I'm just me, not to necessarily say I'm a "guy". But my sex is just male, everything else about me is whatever.
@@williamelliott186 Do you think being homosexual is not as neutral a characteristic as you being male? I'm curious.
@@vp9549 no. Its many factors. Upbringing and my affinity for men are very much factors. I'm very comfortable with my orientation. But that's it. Its not that I am gay. I'm just me. If I where woman, I'd still like men. If I didn't have a sex, I'd still like men. Its just how I am. The term gay isn't neutral in thus world sadly anyway, its always viewed as alternative, I don't want to conform to that. If I liked women I'd say the same think. Its not that I like women, I'm just me. Hope that made sense of things
I love your guys attitudes. You both seem so openinded and honest about your opinions. I'm at the beginning of my transition and I agree with you. Super Straight is totally fine, and it shows the hypocrisy of some in the lgbtq+ community. Luckily there's lots of people in this community that also are totally fine with it. Haters gunna hate.
Lol everyone is making genders so hey why not super straight. Lol I’m actually agree with Blair on this.
I’m a little feminine… some gay guys don’t like that and I think that’s ok
9:00 The difference with that is, that people are not creating new orientation names for age and height preferences, that invalidate their classifications (identities) by stating that short men are somehow any _less of men_ than tall ones and how women with short hair are any _less of women_ than ones with long hair.
But in actually dating, many men only want women with long hair and many women only want men with short hair. These preferences just aren’t policed.
@@sketchpadangel Those men never claim that women who fall outside of their preferences aren't true women.

This issue should have been a non issue but it was taking out of context clearly. Also those people pressuring that guy to like trains need to slow there role and look in the mirror and ask themselves would I like it if someone did this to me. How would this make me feel if someone told me who I should like. The answer should come fast considering that is there life

This video keeps popping up in my notifications and and then disappears.
I agree with the things you guys are saying in this video.
I don't get why the same people who insist that you not define them, turn around and define others. People do not decide who they are attracted to. It just happens. To demand that people be attracted to you for you to feel validated is ridiculous. You know, Stonewall was all about people being free to live their lives as they choose, not how society wanted them to live.

Claimant of the "straight" title, is what i believe raised the conflict.
Straight people are not member of the lgbt+ community. But They can be allies.
To avoid disassociation, always
claim Trans as your gender. And just add your preference with it.
Why not be true to your identity, not a straight woman but a straight trans woman, still a true woman but more special. You dont need validation from people who don't believe in you.
But trans isn't a certain gender and also not an opposite of being straight (that would be gay). A trans person can be straight, gay, bi etc. Just like a cis person (that's the opposite of being trans if you like to call so) can.
@@onlyfoes exactly.
You should have used "because" not "but".
Pretty much, a follow-up to the idea.
I think let people call themselves whatever they want to call themselves. It only works to shine light on who they are and that's a good thing for everyone. In this instance even though it may be shitty that they don't see transwomen sexually the reality is that is how they feel and by them being honest and up front about it that actually creates a safer dating space for trans-people. Personally I'm bisexual and would date a trans person (male or female trans). I think allot of people are interested in trans people sexually/romantically but it would be naïve to expect everyone to feel that way about any type of person.
As the British say people get their "knickers in a twist" about all sorts of things. Good for her for reading some tea on the topic. Apropos of something else I thought of you as we read a book in our book club here in Portland. Never Leaving Laramie, Travels in a restless world by John W. Haines. Remembering some of your conversations about moving on but coming back. He circles back to Laramie throughout his life. And finds the same things that propelled him out. Yet brings him back. Your conversations make me think about things and take another look. Much appreciated.

I believe there are ppl out there looking for a triggering opinion - triggering a real anti-other and will work to find harming those "others" is approved by the "not-others."
I'm halfway through the video, and I'm interpreting the word 'rapey' as meaning like ''you _have_ to have s3x with me even if you don't want to, because if you don't then you're transphobic'' ..which I do agree seems like a really extreme opinion? I have no idea why anyone would shame anyone else for who they do (or do not) innately desire s3xual intimacy with :o
(I don't actually know what my own sexuality is. I think I may be asexual? So if someone said ''nope. you _have_ to want s3x with men'' that would seem sort of 'rapey' if that makes sense? insisting I _have_ to want s3x with someone and have no right to my own preferences)
Anyway this is my first video of yours and I am enjoying your commentary thank you :)

some of them are transitioning EXACTLY to trick straight people

genitials are not a preference. A preference is when you prefer one thing over another but will still take the other if their preference is not available. Super straight, Super Gay and Super lesbian are all cis gender people who were born only sexually attracted to other cis gender people. Super straight, super gay and super lesbians are valid orientations not a preference at all. You might perfer chocolate ice cream but if their isn't any you will eat strawberry ice cream. I'm so happy I found you. I needed the reminded that normal people still exist. There's so few places you can even say this without being screamed at for being a transphobe. I support trans women. I accept that they are women. But they're different than me. I'm not saying better or worse. I try to adapt to new things as cultures evolve, but insisting transwomen are the same as me takes away from all women.

There are either 3 or 4 sexual orientations (bisexuality, heterosexuality, homosexuality, and probably asexuality) Guys into transexuals must be some kind of bisexual man. If you are straight, don't let non-straight people such as the trans lovers redefine YOUR label, because they'll try to redefine any label you use from now on.
The aces weren’t even in this, some chubby chicks who are currently celibate just claimed it to join some minority group.
@@ollylevesque3404 damn… thats good
the guy in the original video blatantly justified his preference with transphobia, though. it wouldn’t have been transphobic if he had stopped at “i wouldn’t personally date a trans woman,” but he went on to say that that comes from his belief that trans women are not women- which is quite literally textbook transphobia. imo, you can’t invalidate someone’s identity while expecting them to respect yours
Sexual desire patterns are not identities. They are physiological phenomena. It is very different from transmanhood/transwomanhood because those two are artificial gender categories.
The historical and non-Western societies that have had systems of gender categories did not accept gender non-conforming people. For transexuals to thrive in their gender categories, they MUST convince people to believe in strict gender roles again.
thank you for your reply, mark. “sexual desire patterns,” or sexual orientations, are absolutely a part of identity for most people (and that doesn’t negate the fact that they are functionally biological). the man in the original clip was identifying as “super straight,” so yes, that is an aspect of his identity. and on the contrary, numerous medical studies have been conducted wherein being transgender was proven to be a result of biological and physiological characteristics, so internal gender orientation is no less physiological than sexual orientation.
and that’s true, many ancient societies did not accept gender non-conforming people (i’m assuming that by gnc, you mean trans and non-binary people, even though gnc actually refers to people who defy gender roles, ig. a masculine woman or a feminine man. if you meant gender non-conforming in the sense of defying gender roles, then i fail to see what this point has to do with trans people). however- we do have proof of transgender and/or non-binary people existing in several historical and non-western societies (examples include several native american tribes, ancient greece and rome, ancient india, ancient thailand, middle age europe, and ancient japan). they weren’t accepted, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t exist. as for that last part, that simply isn’t the case, as we can very obviously see today that transgender people can and do coexist with people who defy gender roles. in fact, many trans people defy gender roles themselves.
trans people are real and they exist naturally- even if the treatments are not natural. debating their existence isn’t really an option.
@@abbie5134 Socially, sure. But biologically no they aren’t women. That doesn’t make them lesser than, it actually makes biological women lesser than to ignore biology over feelings.
Is it just me or is the volume on the video very low? My volume is all the way up but it's very difficult to hear.
I agree with this

Geez, all these labels. Super straight now? So ridiculous! I'm just straight. I was born a female, and I like men who were born a male. I don't have to prove my sexuality to anyone by saying I'm super straight. Saying you're straight is enough.

Chris the word is " regardless..."
I kind of live under a rock and don't watch tv often and have no idea what is going on in popular culture... But I'm a bit disappointed. I don't think the majority of people care about any of this. People are so different, no one is like another person so there is no point of having a label. I am 40 years old and very complex and always changing and have always been that weird artsy kid growing up. The only way people will get a sense of who I am or what I like, etc. will be through a conversation. Even that will not create a label for me because depending on the day and the way the other person interpretes what I am saying will also be different. I think there is more power in not be labelled. Why is there so much pressure to be put into a box? I guess when I was a teen it was very important for me to be identified as a "rocker"... So perhaps labels help young people find themselves somehow. But, hey kids if anyone is listening, come over to my non label side where you can be free and be whatever you want and never have to be understood by anyone! All that matters is that you understand and love yourself. This leaves a lot of room for laughing at yourself too which is really fun loving!
Wanting to have biological kids soon I would not date a trans person right now even if I am physically attracted to them... I have been with women too but I wouldn’t date a women for that same reason right now... it’s just in contrast with what I want and anyone who would tell me different just doesn’t understand the need I have in that department and I do not expect anyone to but I need to still be respected ... sometimes you have to look past being offered that someone told you no bc you’re trans and ask why ... I think super straight sounds really silly tho they should have chosen a better term that sounds less ignorant tho but I feel people should always be able to choose who they are with
You guys, your microphones are fading out and getting loud again in this video. Can't quite hear you that well.
I disagree with it specifically as the label and the symbology they're using
Let people not be attracted to trans people, but when I see the extent to which people are using n*zi symbolism with it, and the fact that superbisexual is now a part of it too? For those specific reasons I can't get behind that label
The nazi symbols appeared weeks after the movement appeared from people that wanted to make it look bad.

I disagree that with a couple of things. Especially concerning the ability of having biological babies. Even people who are “super” straight can be attracted to & fall in love in with someone of the opposite sex & then find out that that person is infertile due to some thing unrelated to their gender. There are people who are infertile that you couldn’t tell & they might not even know it. Also if you can’t tell someone’s gender is not different than what you assume & fall in love. However if you are closed minded and you are grossed out because you find out that they are & can’t get passed it.
He is “super straight “ right 🙄😜
Those are the PH colours

Well if this is genuine then they would be carving out space for trans attracted people to fall on the spectrum of straight which would show a better understanding of trans attraction as opposed to conventional opinion amongst those that would fall under the super straight category but have limited understanding of these subjects. It could be that they want their cake and eat it too, so considering themselves super straight but trans attraction as automatically gay or bi or something else regardless of how the person self identifies. I’ll offer the benefit of the doubt till someone proves to be disingenuous about it.
That's not true at all, I would consider myself super gay but not because I consider trans people not who they say they are one I just prefer to date someone who didn't get surgery to be where they are, especially because I have truama with that type of stuff with an family member messing up their body, also I've seen transgender bottom surgery, yes there are people who get it I'm still not attracted. Why, because it wouldn't work like one that's functions at birth. For instance men can provide the "s" liquid through their thingy XD. Also I just don't want someone who had used other skin on their body or someone else's body to do me ;^; I think I would feel slightly uncomfortable(sorry I'm a bit awkward about this seeing as I am 17). It's not transphobic to say even if you didn't know until after you kindly say you don't date trans people, but what's not right is calling someone transphobic and making them look hateful after just because they say that they aren't attracted to you, it's like hiding the fact you are gay to a straight girl in a relationship, only later to tell her you are gay, if you get what I mean friend ^^. Wanting cis people people isn't transphobic it's how you go about it that makes it transphobic, but also on the other hand I do not like that trans people lie and say this does not happen because if it didn't not this many people would really be talking about it, there are trans people who will call you transphobic, and send you death threats for not wanting them which is scary, and gives me anxiety, because I was in that situation for when I was little and hiding the fact I liked guys, it's basically me getting out a closet only to enter another one. I just think people should let people love whom ever they want to without being discriminatory, or forceful. Also trans people you do not need other people to validate you okay, my auntie Quay is trans and she tells me all the time that she couldn't find validation until she saw it in herself. I hope this helps anyone who reads it!
@@kingazure2256 Based on your response you didn't comprehend what I am saying. I don't care if you are super gay. I care about being honest about the people who do identify as straight or gay who are mislabeled because they are attracted to transpeople. My presumption is this mislabeling will stop because by calling yourself super straight or super gay you are acknowledging that there are straight and gay people that are attracted to transpeople. I don't know if this is an issue in the gay community but straight people have in my experience called being attracted to a transwoman gay, that would not make sense if you call yourself super straight because the distinction would be unnecessary as you don't consider trans attraction straight. Idk if I made that any clearer.
@@freemanvs9970 sorry for misreading a bit of what you said, and basically yeah I acknowledge some people are attracted to both cis and trans people and there are people who are attracted to just trans people, but I agree being attracted to a trans woman is not gay it's just when people use the labels superstraigh from what I would assume they would rather date a woman who didn't have surgery to be who they are today, but I do see the point where your coming from where their will be toxic people who will try to abuse the term to say rude stuff to trans people, but we have to acknowledge that happens on both sides,(the kid who literally made the sexuality got death threats let's not forget that, he has a RUclips video saying he respect trans people though but just would rather date vis women.) and it's not just our group of people usually the LGBT arguement is "it's transphobic to not want to date a trans person, or genital preferences are transphobic." I think having "supersexual" people as a definition helps seperate that so it leaves space for trans people to be validated without having to force attraction onto someone else to be validated. For instance Supergay: preference for Cis
Gay: both cis and trans
And skilosexual: attraction to trans.
There is nothing inherently wrong these distinctions people just take it too far and think too much about it when all it means is that "this is what I like" not "this is who I think you are so stay away from me."
(My thoughts on SS apart from this) Really, I think the real reason most people are upset about this movement is because trans people feel like you are saying they aren't who they say they are when you say you wouldn't date them because of the "trans" label, often times making them catfish people online, or hiding the fact they are trans. (Which is not right by the way, you shouldn't have to have other people to make you feel better sweeties.) But, often times they forget that yeah they transitioned into the other gender, and that's who they are now, but there are prices that come with it because it didn't happen naturally, and those prices are heavy cost when having a relationship, like earlier I was talking about surgery.(this bit is off topic a bit btw you do not have to read this section)
(Edit): also yes this is an issue especially in the gay community if you go into apps like amino, kik, Twitter, discord, and Facebook. You see it a lot especially in the anime community, specifically the yaoi community.
...and then there's a thing that's called "humor"....
