That’s my local courthouse. That’s just a blip in history that you can find in any southern town. We are a diverse community that often comes together in celebration. We will also come together to help and defend our neighbors. Those neighbors are our family and friends. That type of disrespect will not be allowed her. Businesses that belongs to people we know. A member of our community family. We will not tolerate anybody terrorizing our community. Jason Aldean is a member of our community. That courthouse was also in ‘The Hannah Montana Movie’ and a Hallmark film with Mario Lopez.

I'm from one of the OG small towns and "good ole boy" is not always a compliment. More commonly here, it's used with the phrase "good ole boy politics" where shady backdoor stuff happens but they close ranks to protect each other and their image. Alot of the time it's an open secret, everyone basically knows it. But nothing happens to them because of who they are, the "friends" they have, and the money they have.

In the south a Good Ole boy is a positive thing having nothing to do with race. It is used to describe a trustworthy, dependable man who comes from a humble background, who was raised to be a respectful, productive member of society. My neighbor, who owns the farm down the road from me is black and a Good Ole Boy, who goes to the bar on Friday night with all the other Good Ole Boys. Good ole boys are cultural, not racial.

They are loyal to their people.....for the most part. Why? Because they live here with us as well. You just don't do it in a small town. Small towns are like trailer parks...we're fine fighting with eachother...but if an outsider comes into a trailer park and starts some drama...the park bans together and whoops the outsiders....same thing with a small town.

I love your comment because I live in a small town in the South. We have white, black and Hispanic folks. We will all ban together to stick up for our small town. We all have known each other all our lives. We’ve grown up together. Small towns are not just made up of white people. I truly think a lot of this racist stuff is being pushed by well off white liberals who grew up with a lot money and their money segregated them from people of other backgrounds and races. Let’s face it most of the super wealthy in this country are white. They only go by what their liberal teachers tell them. Whereas the poor and working class white people have been raised around people of all different backgrounds and ethnicities. We don’t see ourselves as better than anyone!!! We are all struggling together!! We are the same. Rich white people think they are special and privileged whereas working class white people do not see themselves that way. What we have in America is a class issue it isn’t a racism issue (that’s not to say there are no racial issues at all). There’s a huge divide between the classes in America. If the rich can keep the poor working class in America fighting each other then we won’t turn on them.

So is it wrong for me to say that I'm a good woman? The good ole boys was a quote before I was even born and i was born in 1959. It's what they call a farmer that is god fearing, work hard always show respect to their elders, no cussing in front of women and children. They show respect to the elderly and women. The men helped each other. If someone barrowes something from his neighbor. If it gets damaged. That person replaces it and takes it back to their neighbors. That's what it means to be a good ole boy.
Why is it people are so sensitive and soft these past few years? We can't say anything for people scold them for speaking their thoughts. So what if someone one calls their self a good ole boy. Most young folks haven't had the experience living through hard times. I know today's generation could not survive any hard times. They would be squalling and balling and wouldn't know what to do unless someone does it for them..

I’m typically not a fan of him, or his music. However…I like this one. I’m from a fairly small town in Kansas. From my point of reference, the song says “might as well behave yourself, because you’re not gonna get away with that around here!”. Several times, my parents knew where I was & what I was doing before I got home (my Mom seemed to know everyone in town, & liked to chat on the phone😁). I’m SO tired of a certain segment of the population these days, struggling & trying so hard to find something devious or hateful in something that wasn’t originally intended to be bad….& I’m thinking this may be an example! “What can I misconstrue today in order to feel offended?!” 🤔🙄

Are they saying we're the only group of people who protest, riot and do criminal things? Truthfully speaking, there were more images of White people in his video. Does that make Jason a racist because he showed less people of color? Gimme a break!

Your points at around 7:00-8:00 are what stood out the most to me. It isnt the fact that people are fighting for accountability of police officers who cross the line... It's the way these protests can get out of hand and HURT the very cause they are supposed to stand for.
Just like not all "pride" celebrations are going to be something I would want to take part in, because I DON'T like the overexposure of "kink" and nudity at these parades, not every lgbt person is the same. But the problem is that many people take those few bad examples and JUDGE an entire demographic of millions, based on those few. All to make a "political" point. THAT'S what im so tired of. Judge individuals based on their behaviour, NOT entire groups. Goes for Police Officers, black people, gay people, republicans, democrats, you name it.

People are bashing Jason for running off stage in Vegas, but yet the news people who are calling this video racist, they would have done the same thing. He has a family and kids that he loves and he had to keep himself safe just the same. He was not a coward by no means trying to protect himself from a very sick person for doing what he did at something that was supposed to be fun and have a good time. As for the image of the court house seriously people it was decades ago and we need to move on we no longer live in that world I want to believe that we are not holding onto the past so strongly because until we move on we will never stop the bs. I love what this song has caused in a sense that so many people are learning the truth about so many things that people have always said that were not try and I love how so many people have came together to promote what this song really stands up for. Thank you for showing the truth about this song and video and for making it known once again that there is nothing mentioned about someone's skin color, like you said your skin color is not mentioned in the song and he doesn't pinpoint just one because in the clips of real life images there are all races being shown. This is just another reason for people to keep the ideology going in todays society. ❤

I've got the inside scoop to your question at the end. Is this Aldean's biggest song? Absolutely. Forget iTunes. That's one streaming and digital sales platform, and it's a snapshot in time. Also, it's not even the biggest. The Billboard US Hot 100 is the gold standard. The song went from not even being in the Hot 100 to being #2 for all genres, all aggregated platforms in just two days left in the activity from the time of the ban for last week to make it to #2 on this week's chart. It was also #2 on the Global 200 this week. It's had 500K just in pure sales after about nine days. That's Gold not even counting streams. The scoop is that this is an easy #1 for next week's chart. It will be announced Monday. It will likely be #1 globally as well. Jason Aldean has never had a #1 on the Hot 100, although he has been #1 on the Artist 100, and he has had the #1 album on the Billboard 200. This will compete the trifecto for him. Now for the long term song success; radio success and RIAA certification,, time will tell. He's never had a song reach Diamond certification, aka 10M units. Also interesting is that the same scoop I read said that country songs will be 1-2-3 this week on the Hot 100, Aldean, Wallen, Combs, respectively, and that has never happened in the 66 years of the chart. Country was already having a huge year with Wallen and Combs, but especially Wallen with 5 top 10s this year alone and 39 songs in the Hot 100 this year alone with his 36 songs album plus some hits with him as a featured artist and Wasted On You from his last album still lingering until it timed out.

I live in a small town in east texas and they had protest here when all those rioting were going on back in 2020 and no one did destructive damage to our town they peacefully protested and did it in a respectful manner. Which is fine everyone has the right to protest and let their voice be heard. But the images jason aldean is showing in the video they were not peacefully protesting they came there to riot and destroy their town and do harm to innocent people..
And I dont see where this video is racist at all it showing crimes that all races have done here In our country.. and he's true when he says in don't think about doing that stuff here because you'll regret it. In our small town everyone knows everybody and we look out for one another no matter what color skin a person has we still look out for them and help them if they need help and we protect our town and eachother and they won't tolerate someone coming over here destroying our town or being disrespectful to our local law enforcement we have respect for our law enforcement and for out town

I'm a small town girl stuck in the outer fringe of the most dangerous city in the country.
There's a whole different world in the small towns. There's actually more to do in the small towns than our cities. And they never make the news.
Because we don't have crime and drama. Is it segregated? Everyone shows up, black or white, straight and gay, nobody CARES as long as you are civil and polite. Not because the cops are everywhere, but because we just don't do the drama. Hence, Try That In a Small Town. We know each other and we get along.

In fact, the town doesn't have to be small and it doesn't have to be a town. It can be a neighborhood, a community, a section of a town or anywhere the people stick together.
