I met my partner when I was a freshman in college way back in 1971. We have been a couple now for 51 years. We did finally get married 3 years ago to protect our possessions from the government and any family that might try to claim any thing when one of us dies. We are 70 and 71 yrs. old. @@iantum2023 The sad thing is that there is evidence that current attitudes were imported during colonialism. There are ancient rock paintings in Zimbabwe which depict two men having sex. I'm not sure if you're familiar with "mudoko dako" from East Africa. Anyway, tons of history gives me comfort that everything will be okay eventually and that's my armour. Stay safe!!

I just found this channel ❤ My husband and I are about to celebrate 20 years. He was 19 and I was 37 with 3 young children when we met and we fell in love hard and fast! He didn’t run screaming down the street he stayed and he helped me raise our three children into adulthood. When we met I found out his mom was 2 years older than me and he had two sisters still in high school. Love doesn’t have an age guys! im glad your parents took it better then my did they were livid when i introduced them to my older boyfriend (im 24 and he's 61) my dad wanted to basically disowned me and my mom shook her head saying what did i go wrong with my son but slower over time they came to terms with the fact that im dating an older man and after a year i think they finally realized that were both legal adults and as long as im happy and he treats me right then thats all that matters.

I met my husband in 1981, I had just returned from the West Coast. I stopped at Kmart and on my way back to my car, I noticed a tall, handsome guy asking people for a jump, as his car battery died. I gave him the jump, he asked me back to his house, for coffee. I refused politely but finally gave in. One thing led to another and yadda, yadda, yadda, and I moved in the next day. LOL We spent the next 18 years together until a heart attack took him from me. I never remarried because I had it beautiful for 18 years and it doesn’t happen twice. I’m 65 now and think of him everyday.

When we met each other, it was by chance. We met in a place where neither of us would be normally, but there we were. I felt a tap on my shoulder, turned around and there he was, dressed all in beige, broadly smiling. He reach out to shake my hand and introduce himself. After a bit of chit chat, he asked if he could buy me a drink. The rest is history.
We’ve been together 32 years. Married for 9. For years we toyed with marrying, but we’re never serious about it. We thought, we didn’t need it, marriage was for straight people. But then we heard the horror stories of couples who built a life together, had a home, vehicles, a house full of pretty things, things that brought back sweet memories. Then tragedy strikes and suddenly the life you built is gone, and people you consider family suddenly change in the blink of an eye. All of the “I love you’s” and and wonderful memories are gone and those people want you to be as miserable as they are. I’ve seen it happen many times. When my husband and I were married, we felt safe.......... for a few years. Then my parents died. My dad was the last one to leave. I suddenly had a house filled with memories, and full of 55 years of tangible things. At my dads funeral lunch, my husband and I were approached all afternoon. Not with sympathy or hugs, but with questions. “Do you guys know what you’re going to do with your folks car?” “Have you figured out what you’ll do with your moms jewelry?” “What’s going to happen with your dads guns?”. My husband and I sat dumbfounded. I had never heard such talk at a funeral before.
Over the course of the next few months, since we live so far away, we had to get the house ready for sale. It was hard. We drove back and forth perhaps 4 times. The more we excavated the house, the more confusing it was. I hadn’t been feeling well either, but we got to the point where it was time to hand the house over to an estate sale company. We invited relatives over one Saturday to pick out what they wanted. There were lots of “Oh, I remember that” and “I gave that to your mom for her birthday”. Lots of hugs, a few tears, and if we need any more help, let us know.
My husband and I drove our car, and my folks car back to where we live packed to the roof. I said if we couldn’t pack any more in the cars we don’t need it. The house was listed with a realtor, then within a few days we got the answer to why I wasn’t feeling well. Stage3 cancer. I had to start treatment immediately. The phone calls start very quickly. If you two need anything, just let us know. When things started getting more serious, our calls went unanswered. Months later when I started chemo, you could hear crickets. It’s been 6 years, I had another cancer diagnosis, and we haven’t heard from family in all that time. It’s all very sad. All we can tell you is PROTECT yourself. When money is involved, the only thing people love is the money. Be safe, and take care of yourself first.

Congrats on your relationship. To be honest, I'm a total bottom (never been versatile) living in NYC and I've been looking for a total top who's handsome, masculine, and looks a lot like Russ.
