I am a old man have traveled on motorcycle in the 70’s from Bangor Maine to Key West Florida then on to Fairbanks Alaska down to the Panama Canal in one year. Sad part was I never took a camera! ☹️🤷♂️ So, to sit here and see yours makes me smile and reminisce of my past. I even like the cooking shows you let us In On. The human side of reality. Keep them coming “please”.
T. N. Schumacher I agree but it’s not ‘sad’ that u didn’t have a camera... it’s in the best place it can be-within your mind. I feel like people want to ‘capture’ or record everything that they lose the ability to just ‘enjoy’...
I lost my camera half way through a 1 year tour of Central and South America before the camera phone days. I was gutted as I lost a lot of photos on my memory card. I didnt buy another camera but was kinda grateful in a way. I saw the mid summer sunrise on temples at Tikal in the Guatamalan Jungles and the guide said to me I was the smartest guy in the group as I was watching with my eyes and brains. I explained I had lost my Camera. He said I would always have a more realistic and memorable experience of that sunrise than anyone else. 20 years later I can still see the Golden glow of the temples as the sun lined up perfectly. Awesome.
This guy is living my dream life. Majestic cinematography of the Grand Tetons. The only thing I'd change is I'd have a good dog with me on these expeditions for the company and companionship. Excellent work Chad. I watched your whole video, and subscribed. Fantastic!
Welcome aboard, Goldmine Business! Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I would love to have a dog to travel with, but sometimes I travel abroad for work, I may be hold-up for hours at a time for editing, so many things that would just not be fair or conducive to having a dog onboard full time. The family dog travels with me sometimes, look for my travels with Lola, the Australian Cattle Dog. And thanks for watching!
Mother Nature just showed us what real lighting is all about. Stunning and breathtaking during that 5 minutes of her strutting her stuff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Chad! Those photos of the Tetons are beautiful! The deep reds, the white mountain peaks, and the blue sky leave me searching for words. Congratulations.
THAT was exciting, exhilarating, educational, and…amazing. Stunning photography! Do you sell your photos to the general public? Wow, I mean, just….wow!!
Chad, that was one of my best 3:00am in Australia adventures I’ve had. I couldn’t sleep and saw your notification and I lay here in my warm bed and felt for you being out there bringing the amazing images and excellent video. You my friend deserve a RUclips global award for this vid. Thank you and thank you again and again. Cheers from Mario.
Welcome back Chad. Hope all well with your family now. Difficult times for everyone, but for us seeing your work makes our life's feel better. Thank you : )
Dear Chad I am a spanish suscriber and I think your job is just perfect. Elegance and good taste are your stamp and you have also the capacity of turning simple things like a meal, a campfire and a glass of whisky in something very special something that makes us happy, relaxed and breath fresh air all at the same time. You bring all your sucribers how beautifull and magic this world is. Thanks for your high quality job and let us enjoy of it. A big hug form Spain.
Where the Mountains touch the sky....... So much beauty. I cannot describe the feeling I get when I see this. Also the background music is amazing. It only upgrades the photos. This channel needs more subs. Way underrated.
I feel like went to heaven for a while tonight. This is breathtaking scenery. I’m going to make my husband take me there this year. Thank you for sharing your craft with us. PS I did cry
In these uncertain times and me struggling to keep my sanity your channel allows me to feel free for a small time. Your calm, chilled easy going content with breath taking views is a god send during these times of lockdown. Thank you, THANK YOU for bringing me along on your stunning journeys I’m both envious and great full for such a awesome channel.
Amazing, 42 min of art. Everytime you blow me away, the pictures, the music, you. My english is simply not good enough, to express the greatness of your Work.

Been sitting watching all your videos today with my wife. Thank you for the work you put into these videos. We are building a skoolie to start going our adventures. Once again you are an inspiration. GOD BLESS you and glad you are getting your new ride!!!!!
Chad, this is the first Living The Van Live video I saw. I've watched it two more times. The scenery, the food it all makes you feel glad to be alive! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Once this camper van craziness calms down I will be experiencing my own adventures, in the mean time please keep posting. Maybe I'll run into you in the Great Northwest!

As a Canadian I didn't realize that it was even sold in the USA. I didn't pay attention that Chad used it before. I wonder if he bought here in Canada.🤔 It's a staple in almost every household in Canada. They even have a chicken one out. 👍🏼👍🏼I'd be happy to send you them if you're interested. 😊 I'm certain it's a lot less expensive here than there.
Cyndy the shop nearby is called lollies n stuff. They have a vast array of sauces and rubs as well as candies from around the world. The container of seasoning is quite large too
@@adrianbanks4487 yes they are typically large here. I find if you add a few good shakes of Worcestershire and a good amount of the spice on both sides, cover and I let them marinate for a day in the fridge or as long as possible. Everyone wants to come over when I'm barbecuing steaks. 🤫 I never tell them that I add Worcestershire sauce and that I marinate the steaks. I also take the steaks out of the fridge about an hour before cooking so the are not cold and will cook better.
You are the very definition of an artisan Chad. What an amazing talent you have in capturing those stellar moments that move the soul. I'm a fan for life my friend!
Awesome bro! Amazing scenery. I'm a bit of a photographer myself and can certainly appreciate the effort those kind of shots take, good work! Glad to have another vid from you, hope you're keeping well 👍
Wow Chad, another epic adventure!!! It takes a lot of passion and desire to bet up that early and in negative temps to shoot multi camera video and stills! You are a master at your craft, and you still manage to include some amazing van life cooking! Glad to see you still doin your thing, thanks for all your time and efforts in bringing this and all your epic adventures to us!!!
Glad you're alright, Chad. Hope your family are healthy too. Might hit 80 in Bellingham this weekend, so appreciate having some gorgeous video to help keep me cool while sheltering in place!
Chad: Was wondering if an external battery pack inside your jacket could be connected to your cameras with a cord? That way the battery stays near body temperature, and can power your equipment. I know it could work with your cellphone, but was curious if it could work with your professional cameras. #GreatVideo
Chad I just wanted to let you know that your videos are an absolute experience to watch. The quality of the videos really are a product of the amount of time and effort you put in. Keep it up and we’ll keep watching!

I watch your video's as I work in my home office here in Chicago. One of your best. Sooo beautiful....love the soundtrack. I can almost feel the ice cold wind on my face.

I think this is one of you best artistic works. Comes at a time when beauty of what blessings we have in this land needs to be shown. Thank you so much for sharing.
I started watching you because of the Westy van life but I’m getting much more! I’m inspired thank you! I grew up in Wyoming and skied those mountains and I know how difficult it is to capture the beauty! I love to watch you hone your craft, I’ve been following you for years! You have mastered telling the story behind the story! But your professionalism is top notch. You are becoming a master. Keep up the epic work. Huge like!
Absolutely amazing photos man! I found your channel just last year and it has been amazing watching your videos and seeing all the beautiful places you visit. I was born in Tacoma but moved to Oklahoma at a young age so i never got to experience Washington so thank you for giving me an opportunity through your videos.
Overmitts might help. I used them when motorcycling in the UK winter. Temperatures were nowhere near as low as in Wyoming but I had 70mph of windchill. The thin shell of material was enough to keep the rain out and my hands warm wearing summer gloves in winter. The combination was better than the thick winter gloves I’d used previously. PS. Stunning photographs.
Watching your videos is like ASMR for my eyes! Thanks for all that you do. I am building my camper now and planning a trip from So Cal to Yosemite to Banff to Yellowstone and now I have added Grand Teaton to the list!!
Thank you sharing this video. I agree that it is beautiful. I've been there in the summer. My son lived in Jackson Hole for a year. I wouldn't be able to handle the cold of winter so it was great to see it this way.
Man, in general I don't comment RUclips videos, but this one made me change my mind. What you just did, waking up on your camper van near a national park before sunrise to capture those beautiful lights is literary my dream. I am an economist, working in the office 9 to 5, at least before covid. Please try to understand the magnitude of the INSPIRATION you just gave me. Thanks for your video and keep up with the good content. Cheers from Brazil.
Luiz! Thank you so much for the awesome comment. I hope that these videos will encourage you to get out and see more! Thanks for watching! And thanks for being part of the channel!
I’ve visited Grand Teton NP twice, both times in the summer and have been awestruck each time. You my friend have captured some amazing shots in the winter. Thanks for posting this spectacular video!
OUTSTANDING!!!! Glad to see you posting up again. Glad you seem to be safe and sound. Great vids and looks like some good photography. You are spot on with it being a must see in person!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
You are a bloody awesome cinematographer. Never a moment of boring footage from any of your videos. You sure know how to bring the viewers from a scene to another in the right way. I just started off in this cinematography scene and you are such a fantastic inspiration for me. Can't wait for your next video.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Always keep your goals and dreams in front of you. Seek what you love and stay with the cinematography. You’ll get to where you want to go. Cheers!
Thumbs up..you and your friend Jason Primal Outdoors always have good material for audience. The scene just fantastic...you bring the beautiful world right into our homes.
We just subscribed to your channel after a friend recommended a video. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. You have quite the set-up, there, being able to get out, and explore, without worry of COVID in a hotel, or restaurant. Your photography is spectacular. What was most fascinating was the photos done about 1/2 way through the video. The blending of the almost black-and-white foreground with the brilliant oranges at sunset. Wow! Thank you.
I am so pleased to see your adventures during this time of lockdown, I know this took place a few months earlier. It is however so inspirational, shows the absolute best of our world.
I also noticed the nicely put together soundtrack. Splendid camera work. Yours are some of the most professional and also very enjoyable videos on the 'tube.
Jackson hole is amazing! I hope you went and saw the elk herds, magnificent! Also, Thermopolis is near there if you need some relaxing, great thermal springs! They have a public bath house that you can go to in order to enjoy this without renting a hotel. Nothing like being in a hot tub, or hot swimming pool while watching the snow fall around you, while you are outside. And if you go to Thermopolis, check out the park, deer just graze there randomly, they don't even run from your! And you'll see rivers with steam coming off because they're hot. It's an amazing place. Safe travels! Love your channel!
Thank you for sharing this video and photos. Fantastic views and I could sense the emotion in your voice. Beautiful. Keep making these amazing video's and stay healthy. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Hi Chad, as a relatively new follower, this video has blown me away. I can honestly say those mountains and that view was absolutely breathtaking. Outstanding content as always. Stay safe too.
Wow! I enjoyed this so much. I love sunrise and sunset. In AZ I have taken some photos and it has shown me that y cell phone camera doesn't reveal what I saw with my eyes. I love how you capture the light so well. Thank you for sharing your van life with us. Awesome Chad.😍🤗🙏

I’ve visited Grand Teton NP twice, both times in the summer and have been awestruck each time. You my friend have captured some amazing shots in the winter. Thanks for posting this spectacular video!

Great vids and looks like some good photography.
You are spot on with it being a must see in person!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
You're best work yet that I've seen. Magical place! I've been there many times and stood atop many of those peaks. Keep on "Living The Van Life."
Cheers!
@@LivingTheVanLife Cheers. Thanks for the encouragement...

Thumbs up..you and your friend Jason Primal Outdoors always have good material for audience. The scene just fantastic...you bring the beautiful world right into our homes.
Don’t you just love the sound of crunching snow under foot 🥶👍👍
We just subscribed to your channel after a friend recommended a video. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. You have quite the set-up, there, being able to get out, and explore, without worry of COVID in a hotel, or restaurant. Your photography is spectacular. What was most fascinating was the photos done about 1/2 way through the video. The blending of the almost black-and-white foreground with the brilliant oranges at sunset. Wow! Thank you.
I am so pleased to see your adventures during this time of lockdown, I know this took place a few months earlier. It is however so inspirational, shows the absolute best of our world.
best meal I have seen so far from your channel. Great scene. All the more worthwhile to endure the cold.
Hey Chad! So good to see you again. I hope your family is doing well. We miss your vlogs. Thank you again.
I'm glad you're alright! Just looked at your channel today for a new video and here your are!
Perfect!
Another superb video Chad. Worth the wait. Splendid scenery & delicious snow kitchen cooking. Well done!
Wow! Stunning. I love the positivity and joy you bring to your videos Chad! Awesome job
I also noticed the nicely put together soundtrack. Splendid camera work. Yours are some of the most professional and also very enjoyable videos on the 'tube.
Cheers!
This is a premium video you did. I like it. Thank you for sharing these stunning views with everyone.

So glad you have more adventures to share with us while staying inside. Thank you Chad!
Oh my goodness those pictures of winter beauty brought tears to my eyes. Just gorgeous.
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
