I just had my finger over the purchase button for the iPhone 15 PM. Then I realized that I don't have enough information from other photographers comparing the Iphone 14PM and iPhone 15PM results. The other factor is that my phone has the full terabyte of memory. The trade-in offer was skimpy at $650.00. I'll resist instant gratification and read additional reviews.
Why would you even consider getting a new phone when you got a Iphone 14? That's a brand new phone, pretty much the best one money can buy. Wait a few years.
Definitely, if you have a 13 Pro Max or 14 Pro Max it is not Worth at all the Upgrade, same Battery , 120hz . We all get ios 17 Monday 18 . There u got the new software. Double tap?? Seriously? Assistive touch already exists on gen 7 and up ! 😂
@@rrosomasa The SE is a budget friendly iPhone. The 13 Mini had most if not all of the features of the regular 13 when it came out. If the newer SE is a significant upgrade from the 13 mini, I might look at it but the rumors I am hearing doesn’t have me thinking the the new SE will be a big enough step forward.

What an absolute nightmare trying to order that iPhone 15 Pro in UK. Put ready for pre order day, just go on app and order, sounds so simple so booked next Friday off work. After 12 minutes on my Mac, iPad Pro and iPhone 14 Pro lost my delivery slot & 2 weeks as simply wouldn't refresh, Time to cancel I think and wait S24 Ultra, everything is pathetic and so annoying,
I'm still on a apple watch series 6 titanium and I STILL don't feel any need to upgrade. Yes, there's been quite a few changes, but nothing revolutionary. I was really hoping for something drastically better with the watch ultra or at least, better color options than the orange button. The hand gestures btw are available on any apple watch, as it's a software feature. The only real update to watches are the s9 chip.
I love yellow color but not yet have the money for the Ultra, wish they keep the yellow ocean and trail bands, iPhone 15 yellow is really light this time too and no yellow case at launch 💛
Great, talking to my watch about my mental and/or physical condition. That's gonna be fun. Also: "Hey Siri, my wife started her period" could invoke automatic Alexa Amazon orders for Diet 7-Up, Mothers cookies, and Premsyn and also a Pagliacci pizza delivery since I suck at cooking. I just hope my wife does not misinterpret my double tap as anything remotely negative towards her 😑
I think once again, everything felt underwhelming. The double tap is cool, but not innovative as they use sensors to detect movement- nothing to gawk about. Furthermore, the phone’s new camera is standard, as is the processor. No new form factor besides the USB-C, a feature felt almost owed to the public and offensively withheld this long. I am glad they didn’t introduce a folding phone.
I think the worst part about the mini not getting new versions is that the people clutching their minis until they die is that they will all be left on lighting accessories/cables while the rest of the iPhone user base slowly but surely becomes USB. Maybe they’ll do a 16 mini or just an SE with USBC that fills that niche.
Would’ve definitely gotten the Watch Ultra 2 had it come in a dark titanium color. But now that iPhone can be in differently-colored titanium, that opens up more options for Watch Ultra someday!
Admittedly, I haven't fully researched this BUT...in my initial investigation, I can't finance my new $1000+ iPhone unless I select Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile as my carrier. The T-Mobile option is available at BestBuy, not Apple. Please let me know if I'm correct in my suspicion or (hopefully) wrong and I can finance an unlocked iPhone 15.
I own the iPhone 12…I’m still affected with Covid ruining my finances and I cannot find a justifiable reason to upgrade. Also I wish there was a way to suggest features you can add to iOS…there’s one I’d love!
Thanks for the recap. One thing no one points out and been ignored is the 6% vs 100% Focus Pixel on the telephoto camera between the Pro and Pro Max. Even at the event it was "One Slide" to mention about the 6% Focus Pixel and when clicking on the "iPhone 15 Pro" page on Apple's website it went on and talk about the Pro Max's 5X zoom capability which is a total misleading for people who only are interested in the standard Pro and not Pro Max size phone. Some say it's a typo (on the most important yearly event of Apple??) or it has been corrected on the Apple site but nothing supports those statement so far I am able to find. So by paying 10% less between two 256GB models the Pro owner should get 94% less capable telephoto lens and 2X less zoom that the Pro Max... does that make sense and OK for everyone who wants a Pro model??!
@@Exe.6000 more autofocus pixels means higher accuracy to make sure the image taken with the telephone camera will be in focus especially the LiDAR would not be able to assist the focus at those distances. I would prefer high accuracy focused image for the high amount of money comes with iPhone 15 Pro, wouldn't you?
I really just want an Apple Watch band that looks cool, works for the gym and work, and feels good on the wrist. Can't find something that checks all the boxes.
Knowing Apple sadly we are probably still years away from that reality. I mean CGMs like the Dexcom G7 don't even connect directly to the apple watch yet. You phone is the main connection and everything else just bluetooth copies the number to your watch. Plus anything medical related has to pass FDA approval as well which from what I hear is a very lengthy process.
As MXBHD mentioned - Apple's use of USB-C wont utilize typical USBC speeds seen on non iPhones. The Base model Iphone 15 USBC transfer speed will remain the same as it was on lighting, and the Pro USBC will work as fast as USB3 - WTF? Why? All those large photos and spacial videos will take forever to download!!
I'm quite sad that the USB-C port on the regular iPhone 15 models are USB-C 2.0 speed. I will accept it if the iPhone 15s are priced lower. Though I'll give them the benefit of a doubt because 1. Some upper midrange Android phones still have USB-C 2.0 *cough* Brand X *cough.* And 2, MAYBE they will put USB-C 4 on their next iPhones next year and they'll hand down the USB-C 3.0 on the iPhone 16. 😊
It's because they have the same chips as the 14 pro. The 14 pro had usb 2 speeds because of lightning. Next year the 16 will have the same chips as the 15 pro, and everyone will have usb 3 speeds.

You can take videos directly to harddrive so storage is limitless in iPhone 15 pros esp during travel and concerts
Just sell it for like $900-$1000 on some kind of market place or resale site. iPhones hold their value really well unlike their counterparts.
