Thanks for the tour of your new van. I am looking at the 24X or 19 4x4. Love the ability to get in & out of small towns but love the space on the 24X. Your tour helps me clarify what is more important to me. I also loved the map on the exterior. I will also do that in my new van when I get it.Your white furry carpet looks so comfy. I dont think I could pull that off. Thanks for sharing.
My brother has the Interstate 24 and he said sometimes he wishes he ordered the 19 because it was hard for him to find parking spaces. I love all extra storage that he has on his 24. We use the white furry carpet when we want to travel by ourselves and when we travel with our fur babies then we use the black carpet that came with the van.
Ty soooo much. You taught me how to use some things. Makes my list less spend time on other issues with my dealer. I wondered when you would UPGRADE. TO. 4x4. I hope we meet someday on our ventures. Glass beach in California is on my bucket list. Then. Way up NORTH. TO. ALASKA. Soooo excited.
Ooohhh …..Alaska trip is on our bucket list when we have more time to travel. Our Airstream is 4X4. We upgraded the suspension package. Smoother and more stable drive. Hope to meet up with you when you travel to CẢ. 🤗
I truly enjoy your videos. I’m curious about the van life , I’m female and I was questioning being able to drive and operate the different systems. You make it look so easy . I love your van , I think it’s the perfect size. Keep the videos coming, and thank you for sharing.
Thank you A B! I was scared when we bought our first class B the same size as this one a year ago. I had to practice turning into a parking spot and backing up into a parking spot in a large empty parking lot. Lol I think I can park much better than my husband now. Lol Since the Airstream has lots of touchscreen functions it just takes time to learn how to use it. It helps that my husband is handy to trouble shoot some minor problems. I think without my husband I would have to bring it in to the dealer all the time.
Hi wonderful video! thank for sharing! I have so many questions! Where did you got the bathroom mat? and the containers banquet to store your stuff on top? and the rug for the floor is beautiful
Thank you for watching Sonly! The baskets inside the top cabinets are from Homegoods store so I don’t have link for them. The link for the bathroom teak mat airstreamsupplycompany.com/story/airstream-teak-shower-mat-guide/ I cut the floor carpet with a sharp succor to fit our AI19 interior then seal the edges using hot glue gun. The size was 5x8. Ivory color www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Safavieh-Handmade-Luxe-Shag-Super-Plush-Bone-Rug-8-X-10/13299624/product.html
Also, I bought the throw blanket from Costco warehouse during last Christmas. I just saw something like that in warehouse from same company just without the texture look. Feel very soft also.
@@BamBamRVAdventures the black formal one looks nice but it seems like you would get tired of it after a while. Yours is perfect for short or long journeys.
Love watching your video, I guess we have the same body built and height and upon seeing you inside the RV gives me idea that this unit is spacious enough. Coz most of the reviews I watch it look so small but it's not, or maybe those guys have big frames
Yes Lamar, It is indeed better than the competitors.. We had 2019 Roadtrek Zion SRT for 6 months before upgrading to the Airstream. Fit and finish and materials are better. We had 400 amp lithium batteries and solar package in the Roadtrek but that is not enough at all when using the AC during the summer. Our daughter was so hot in the back after the AC run out of juice after about 2 hours. I like the fact that Airstream has a generator to run the AC much longer. New generator is very quiet. We will only upgrade to all lithium batteries class B when it goes up to like 1200 amp.
@@cliff6918 I read on the forum some people said that they don’t want to have propane leaks or the chance that the RV might explode during a collision. I don’t know much about RVs and propane problems but it sounds scary. Lol
I love your van. We were looking at the 24GT, but after seeing your video, I’m sold on the 19’. Thank you so much for sharing. Can you tell me what interior color package you went with? I love the white walls & the light leather seats. Is it the white lux or modern griege?
Thank you Charlene! We have the modern griege interior. At first I picked the lux white because I love white seats but didn’t realize that the wall panels would be black. I prefer to have a lighter overall feel of the lighter interior so I asked the dealer to change the color but that caused more delay but it’s all worth it. My brother has the 2021 24 GT so we will be posting a comparison video between his 24’ and ours 19’.
@@BamBamRVAdventures thank you so much for your reply. I feel the same way about the lighter interior especially in a smaller space. It looks so open & airy. We currently have the AS Basecamp & are looking to upgrade to the ASI 19’ next year. Thank you again for the awesome videos 😀
Thanks for sharing. We've been considering a 144 Class B and really like this model. I'm sure you did the research, wanted to know if you have any comments on the comparison to the Pleasureway Ascent 144? Thanks!
Thanks David, we went to look at a used 2020 Ascent last year but decided on the Airstream mainly because we wanted a macerator system not a gravity dump system and the interior color scheme doesn’t look streamline like the Airstream. The front seats are different color than the back seats. The cabinets looks like regular kitchen cabinets. The floor material in the Airstream looks higher end and feels softer to walk on. Also we like to have sliding bug screen door instead of rolling curtain type. The aluminum ceiling in the Airstream looks very unique compared to the Ascent. We had a 2019 Roadtrek Zion SRT for 6 months and sold it to upgrade to this Airstream since we know for sure now that we really like a small class B 144 and just wanted something more refine.

Hi Anil, we upgraded the suspension to have a smoother ride when going off roads. We haven’t taken it to really rough roads yet just unpaved roads and driven down the lake since the water level is low. We drove uphills to the mountains and it didn’t feel slow like our previous class B RV that was on Ram Promaster chassis. So we really like the Mercedes chassis.
Hi Dave, when we picked it up in Oct 2021 the MSRP was $181,000. I heard it’s higher for those who places the order now. The dealers around the country can give discount between $500 to 15% off MSRP.
Hi Selim, we bought ours at Dave Arbogast RV dealer in Ohio. They have the most competitive price. Just send out inquiries to different dealers. New ones are about 10 months wait list now. We ordered ours last March and didn’t get it until the end of Oct.

The 24X is so low key but it's huge. If they had a 24X with the GL interior would get it.
